This is the best reportage I have seen so far regarding this agreement. Well done, bro!
Some people just talk without understanding what legislation and values of a country mean. They wouldn't do simple research before they start misleading other people.
We have constitutional laws in Nigeria, and some still think the government is dumb to sign an agreement that would contradict what we have in our constitution.
They tend to forget there are lots of technocrats working with the government, and lawyers as well that advise on matters like this.
Our country can easily have problems if we accept anything that infringes on religious beliefs. The government knows this!

Please don't try and pass your personal and religious views as African culture. Gay Africans have existed since before the oyimbos, and before all the imported religions. And they're not going anywhere.
We can oppose the colonisers obvious attempts to divide us and make us fight ourselves, without pretending that queer Nigerians aren't our people.

If nigerians create laws protecting lgbtq an also be a point of interest for toursism, wich it will open sooo much doors to other sectors like fashion, gastronomic, even building etc. everyone end winning if you abandon the ambiguos religion and you live what the planet is offering you now.
Sexual condition is not a choice, and just cuz u belong to the majority doesnt mean the minority has to be opressed, there is only 1 life and u living it making misserably the life of a minority.

So without approving it, we won't have economic breakthrough? Are we living at your mercy? We should throw away our values just like ya'll are doing because of an insignificant group of people who need mental assessment? This is Africa and we have our cultures, norms, ethics and traditions, ya'll are not in position to tell us what human rights are, respect us and we'll respect you accordingly...
