When my 19 year marriage ended 5 years ago I was told grief is definitely not lineal, bounces all over the place, around and around. It took me a while to regain confidence as to who I was/am. I'm getting there, memories pop up which bring up emotions but riding those out is the only way through. I'm loving seeing the Atherton Tablelands (and FNQ) through your eyes. I've been going there pretty much every year since I was a young girl almost 50 years ago as my grandparents lived in Mareeba (and now my parents) and it's still my most beautiful place on Earth. Good luck on all your journeys Phoebe, looking forward to seeing you thrive!!
Although I am a young at heart 70 year old man I am going through the ups and downs just like you after my wife of 35 years walked out on me. Some good days and some bad ones too. I am working doing up our home which we will have to sell so it keeps my mind off it but lonely night times is when it hurts most. I live in Noosa but will probably move to Trinity Beach which I love. I admire the way you are handling such a sad situation and things will get better for you (and me) I know. It really is grief but unlike when your partner dies, there won't be the closure for a whole lot longer. Stay strong and keep on keeping on ! ❤
My short story... I had several major family traumas 7 years ago all at once. (I lost my mom to cancer when she was only 62, my adult daughter became an addict, I ended up with her 6-year-old and 5-month-old baby for 2 years, lost our business, and my husband moved across the country to care for his elderly parents without me.) After two years another family member wanted to raise the boys, and leaving them was incredibly hard, but I knew it was for the best. Now what? Well, I decided to change my life completely. I'm a designer and flipped a couple houses to travel. Sold everything I owned and converted a mini-van to travel to the US for a year. It was the best year of my life! I was so strong when I returned, and my seven-year-old grandson was not doing well. I made the appropriate arrangements and took him on the road with me for two years. He has been to 48 states, most national parks, and countless museums as we homeschooled on the road. We recreated his childhood; personally, it was the best thing I ever did. He is now 13, and we plan to spend 3 months in New Zealand and Australia with my husband later this year. Let the world tour begin. Life has its rainy days, but the sun will come out again. Relax and just take in the moments right now. You'll look back and appreciate every single one of them.
Hi Phoebe, I haven’t been following the Tubes for a while and wasn’t aware of these changes in your life. But having followed you since the early days I think that you have a resilience and strength that you may be only partially aware of. So you have got this, ok? As for the Atherton Tablelands, it’s still looks amazing (haven’t been there since 1985!) thanks to your video and editing skills. Have to get back there soon for sure. Safe travels!
God your an inspiration u go girl you have nothing to loose and you are a beautiful soul your will sort it out and find out what u want in life love ya xxxx
One step at a time. There are no perfect days. Life is a Rollercoaster of emotions. You are not alone. Harriet and i have them too. You now are on a journey of healing and learning how to manage those emotions. Time and Patience are your friends. We are too. We learned that having a great sense of humor and good laugh at ourselves helps calm those anxieties. Breathe The Falls , The Nature Reserves are so beautiful. We have been. Don't feel alone. Reach out to us. Love you dearly ❤❤❤ Harriet, Jim and Yuki
Remember to always be true to yourself 😀 You mentioned early in the video you changed your clothes so you could get some good pictures at the falls, which there's nothing wrong with. But people don't watch your channel for what you wear. We all know you are going through a rough spot. We watch because of your spirit and energy. It doesn't even matter where you are going, we watch. So don't feel like you have to dress up for your audience. Just be yourself! Now if dressing up makes you feel better, then by all means go for it 👍
Aww Phoebe you are doing an amazing job, venturing out of your comfort zone, and see life with a new perspective. You are a strong beautiful women, and you will get through this, with time for your heart to heal. Gosh I’m loving your camper adventures, boy your parents van is so chic, and love the smeg coffee maker essential I’m am sure. Thank you for taking us on your journey.💕👍
I love watching the videos you make. You really show true emotion. My family and I moved to Australia in 2007 from England and we’ve been to Queensland a few times, (we live in Melbourne) the places you’ve shown look amazing and we can’t wait to visit. Time is a great healer and even though you have tough days there will be great days ahead👍🏽
Life is not meant to be easy.Everyone has their own adventure path. You are still young and beautiful.Keep doing what you are best at and you will be good.Im still following you through youtube channel and Im sure your followers still keep following you.Cheers...From BKK Thailand.

❤ the Atherton Table lands but I've only done day trips. Did the big fig tree & Lake Barrine. Next time in Cairns I want to spend a few more days touring & exploring. Can't wait to return to Northern Queensland. Especially from the misery of a cold wet Auckland winter.
I really enjoy watching your vlogs travelling alone in van and showing us many beautiful park, lovely waterfalls and showing your kindness to animals feeding them food i really love to watch your vlogs
I love seeing Australian forests. They look so otherworldly compared to what we have here. That is some stunning footage! It alway gives me a feeling of peacefulness being among trees. I hope that you are finding all the natural beauty cathartic.
You are bloody inspiring Phoebe❤ I’m leaving my career of 13 years and I’m so keen to reevaluate what I want my life and days to be filled with! Been incredible to see your confidence grow with solo photos etc and gives me confidence that I to can do hard things and carve out new beauty, boundaries and purpose this year!
Hiya! Good to see you’re catching up after your break-up. I broke up with my new work in my probation period because my new company had a terrible company culture and I need to gain a little bit of confidence as well. Great waterfall. This might be even better than the Montezuma Falls, gorgeous! Your background music at 5:00 is so relaxing, I was drowning in your video. Routine is terrible. Take your time, I know how it is to feel lonely. Would’ve given you a hug if I was psychically there, I can see you need it. The lakes in Australia are so beautiful. I miss that in my country. Here’s just gross water and that’s it. Those kangaroos in the wild are amazing, so sweet 🦘. Thanks for sharing and have an amazing week ahead 🤙
You did exactly what you needed to do to avoid the "sundown sads". You got out and did something awesome. Doesn't need to be awesome though, just go for a walk, take photos, put your ear buds in and listen to some great songs. It may sound a bit naff, but check out ABBA's song "Eagle". Think it's apt. Also, better get that water pump fixed. We already got into trouble when we broke the drawer! Maybe the beeping means a filter replacement is needed. Just a thought. 🤷♂️
Never doubt that you are going to succeed. This is a turning point in your life, but you will succeed if you just take it one day at a time, let grief run its course in time, and just keep moving forward. You can do it. Good luck to you.
I'm really enjoying ur road trip videos. I'm glad ur having a good day. And yes, there will not always be good days. Way back in ur early eps when u were packing to go up to FNQ u said ur not ready to go overseas yet. I have watched ur Bali vids and u were solo then. U will smash going overseas solo. It would have been scary being sick and alone and having to go to hospital, but u did it on ur own. Ur stronger than u give urself credit for.
Hallo very beautiful and good it can see life of rural areas country ways when you have journey a lot of places so exited view every things big thanks .
Look at you bicep girl, vibing like a champ. If I knew you were going to the introvert town, I'd have met you, that's where I usually go as well (metaphorically 😂). Stay positive and awesome. So lovely ❤️🤗
You are an incredibly brave woman Phoebe and I’m loving seeing this adventure you’re on. The scenery is just incredible and you inspire me to get out of my own comfort zone and try more things solo. It’s okay to feel all the feelings and take your time to move through this transitional stage. Two books I can’t recommend more that really helped me move through some emotionally hard changes in my life are Daring Greatly by Brene Brown, and Who Moved My Cheese - life changing. Tammy 😊
Ok confessions my wife went hiking in raised heel sandals 🩴 when travelling in morroco. She was ok til the part where they (locals) had to grab you by the wrist and lift you up to the next trail on the land above due to land movements. Never again did she not dress for the day 😂 love your videos and remember you are your best friend.
As usual, another awesome and truly inspiring video. You are nailing the content (which I didn’t doubt), but you are killing it in life as well. PS look at your mastering reverse parking with those guns you call arms.
Another great video exploring not only of your new home in NQL, but also exploring the first chapters of your new life. I've said it before-your bravery in sharing is quite admirable. * I like the quick shots of what's coming overlaid with your background commentary as it brings everyone up to speed quickly. However-the shot of that amazing cake was torture for me to watch first thing on a Sunday morning! ;) * Keep the "Coming up..." segments. Really enjoy those a lot! * What a great goal--create a new comfort zone in this new life. Take it one day at a time and figure it out. Many of us need to do that ourselves but fail to do so. I know I had to suffer too much before I could find the time to do what you are doing. It may be why these videos are hitting me so much (and making me want to share my thoughts with you). I admire, and am a bit envious, of your courage and foresight. * The brighter color dress definitely looked better...and never be ashamed! You should be fearless. You are Phoebe Lee, leader of almost 100,000 subscribers, founder of Little Grey Box, and are here to share your amazing life with us and the world! * The images switching between close ups and wide views is quite appealing. Gives the viewer the sense of not only the "big picture" of the waterfall, but also the small details that far too many people miss. I'm a big fan of macro shots, and yours are quite impressive. * I also like how you blend the shots of the places you are visiting and then mix in the images of yourself enjoying that same scenery. Makes us feel like we're there with you. You catch the beauty in where you are and, through hard work and experience, you are able to share it with us. Putting yourself in those same images really invites us to experience them with you. Such a joy to be a part of. * Thank you for going to the effort to get the shots of Zillie Falls...hopefully you didn't damage your shoes! It was worth it, though. Wow, what a view. * Elinjaa Falls segment: I really like how you craft the story being told through the images. It's something I've noticed you've been improving every single week since you started way back in Tambourine Mountain. Great blend of close ups and wide shots. I expect it's a lot harder to do than it looks and I, for one, am impressed. And, of course, timing the music to you raising your arms in front of the falls was absolutely spectacular! What a moment that must of been for you. Well done!! :) * Keep telling that "anxiety voice" to be quiet and just enjoy this new life. * Ok: what was the cake you got at the Dairy Cafe? You showed it at the beginning and then didn't tell us! Looked like a carrot cake (one of my favorites, which is why I ask). You *obviously* enjoyed it! (so jealous). * The curse of introversion: I want to be alone...but feel lonely sometimes. Quite frustrating, isn't it? Drives me insane. * "I dream of a world where the motivations of chickens is no longer questioned." * I used to call my moments "sunset sorrows." Amazing to me that it would hit you at about the same time I got hit. I think it was because I was so used to sharing the events of my day at that time...and I couldn't anymore. * And just when you made me sad seeing you sad, you hit us with a "Gooooooooooood morning you guys." You always bring a smile and great, sincere, energy with that! * So happy you had that perfect day! You'll have good days, bad days, going half-mad days, and mixed days. Work through the bad and you'll get to the good. * NQL has some amazing places! Waterfalls are simply non existent here in Florida. And you *never* go into any lakes (springs are fine, though-just cold). Such a beautiful new home you have! * Glad to know even Aussies have trouble pronouncing some of the places! lol * "What you plan and what you need aren't always the same." Truth. * Wow...that fig tree is humbling. So amazing what nature can do. * Strawberries...😋 * Ah, once again gravity gets the best of the camera! (or was it a mischievous wallaby? 🤣) * Way to bring the video full circle. You say at the beginning you need a new comfort zone in your new life, and then you find it at the end. What a treasure you found. * Indeed, there is so much more to go. And we look forward to sharing the next good day with you. Thanks again, Phoebe. Keep getting better, both in life and with these videos. They really are both becoming your own. See you next week! Rob
Hello again Phoebe! First now I was able to look at your video.....I´ve been away celebrating my 60:s birthday....you know, granny 😊 ....... Wow, it´s beautiful!! I like how you film and edited this, don´t know if it´s different but I loved this. Oh, you are so brave and doing it so well!! Keep going, I guess we all love it! Take care from granny Mia. 🧡
Happy Birthday, Granny! Thank you so much for the lovely comment :) I'm not sure if you saw the community tab posts but I'm taking a little break at the moment as I work through a personal matter. Just wanted to let you know x
So fine amazing beautiful natural ways area around with green trees look at like heavenly on earth splendid world videos made can not be found any where only in this chanell living in dream world l praise the first app great thanks .
Hi phoebe, the only thing that I can say is that: You are respectful, powerful, elegant and a gifted woman in my view. You r in the right way. I am eagerly awaiting for your next video.😃
Your videos are very good and you are succeeding. You will make it. Keep turning our videos. I say do a few in and around the Gold Coast again and maybe down in the Blue Mountains. People would love them. What would make an excellent video would be to ride either The Ghan or the Indian Pacific RR. Imagine a long video of either one.
Hey Phoebe, just got back from Singapore, had a blast, your vids came in very handy. You've got a Kitchen aid in the van! Definitely not roughing it on your journey😂
Great video… loving the scenery and sharing your journey. Crack up with the line “I’ve become accustomed to the slab “ and “this is a site that says leave me alone” 😂 ❤…… remember one day at a time and one foot after the other…. You are rocking it…. We are all with you on your journey
Like you Phoeb I sometimes like to do something scary and terrifying in order to give me confidence. That's why I'm looking for a Carolina Reaper to eat. If you find a fresh one in North Qld please get me one Phoeb.
Hey Phoebe Great to see you get back to your usual positive smile and vibes I know you are going through an intense personal journey, but I would recommend the video be structured as unusual road trips, showing map locations and we need more amazing shots of you in your famous elegant dresses Loved the kangaroo section (my baby loved it too) and we need more such parts in the video 😊 Love the content for the off beat locations you choose so hence added my 2 cents for you to consider 🙂🙂 Looking forward to more of your journey
Taking on making these videos by myself has been a huge amount of work (on top of the end of a 15 year relationship and a move to a new city). I’ve had to learn how to film and edit them by myself. That’s meant learning ALL the camera skills and how to film every scrap of b-roll + to-camera piece + try and be in the shot + plan the whole trip and drive the car and set everything up. I’ve had to learn a whole editing program, how to upload and optimise, taking on all the thumbnail work and everything that goes on in the back end of YouTuve. This isn’t the time to be making suggestions on how you want me to do things differently.
เมื่อคุณยิ้มโลกจะยิ้มไปกับคุณ...เมื่อคุณมีความสุขโลกก็จะยินดีกับคุณ.. When you smile the world will smile with you...When you happy the world will happy with you..
Very nice watch its your acting really beautiful can be popular natural what ever doing very good any time watch your videos injoy able to its,but where ever no bore like its too much.

* I used to call my moments "sunset sorrows." Amazing to me that it would hit you at about the same time I got hit.
* Glad to know even Aussies have trouble pronouncing some of the places! lol
* "What you plan and what you need aren't always the same." Truth.
* Wow...that fig tree is humbling. So amazing what nature can do.
* Strawberries...😋
* Ah, once again gravity gets the best of the camera! (or was it a mischievous wallaby? 🤣)
* Way to bring the video full circle.
Rob
Yay! You found the waterfalls 🥰
About dang time 😂
I love how you're an Introvert but you still post video's online 💪
Super work 💐
Hello again Phoebe!

Hi phoebe, the only thing that I can say is that: You are respectful, powerful, elegant and a gifted woman in my view. You r in the right way. I am eagerly awaiting for your next video.😃
Wow, thank you
Lovely video ❤
Great video
Your videos are very good and you are succeeding. You will make it. Keep turning our videos. I say do a few in and around the Gold Coast again and maybe down in the Blue Mountains. People would love them. What would make an excellent video would be to ride either The Ghan or the Indian Pacific RR. Imagine a long video of either one.
I really appreciate that, thank you! I have a Ghan video up on the channel already :)
Hey Phoebe, just got back from Singapore, had a blast, your vids came in very handy. You've got a Kitchen aid in the van! Definitely not roughing it on your journey😂
Glad to hear the videos were so helpful :)
Great video… loving the scenery and sharing your journey. Crack up with the line “I’ve become accustomed to the slab “ and “this is a site that says leave me alone” 😂 ❤…… remember one day at a time and one foot after the other…. You are rocking it…. We are all with you on your journey
Hahaha glad you got a chuckle 🥰 thank you so much! Ups and downs but just taking it slow
Like you Phoeb I sometimes like to do something scary and terrifying in order to give me confidence. That's why I'm looking for a Carolina Reaper to eat. If you find a fresh one in North Qld please get me one Phoeb.
Hey Phoebe
Great to see you get back to your usual positive smile and vibes
I know you are going through an intense personal journey, but I would recommend the video be structured as unusual road trips, showing map locations and we need more amazing shots of you in your famous elegant dresses
Loved the kangaroo section (my baby loved it too) and we need more such parts in the video 😊
Love the content for the off beat locations you choose so hence added my 2 cents for you to consider 🙂🙂
Looking forward to more of your journey
Hey totally get it
All the best
