When Johan called you while you were digging an ice hole in the pouring rain to make sure you’re alive and to say that you are missed, was such a beautiful moment. And even more beautiful when you said that the rain feels so good. That’s our Jonna 🥰 I’m so happy you both followed it with an evening together in the sauna/ice bath. It was truly magical.
So beautiful! We had a daytime moon today and the 2 yr old kept screaming moon moon ! She was so excited to see the sun and moon together. We had to come inside. today though we had a little taste of summer at 86 f ! 😮 The bees were looking for water and wanted to sting the children so we came inside and ate ice cold fruit to cool off. Its raining tonight so maybe the bees wont be so angry tomorrow. Im so curious about ice baths. How deep are they? Is there grass or sand on the bottom? Can small children or pregnant ladies go in them or is it not safe?

My heart is thorn between my homecountry and West Germany. It's not easy at the beginning of your adulthood but this short period of hard work at the beginning will make your adult life so much better. Don't doubt in yourself and don't give up. Follow your own way no matter what, don't give up on your true wishes just because the society expects you to follow a certain path. Switzerland waits for you!

It is a gift to live in the north. To witness the Earth coming, ever so slowly, back to life after a nap covered in a snowy blanket. Jonna is so lucky to live in a special north land, it is the land of myths and midnight sun. We see it, thank you, Jonna!
I'm the same way with winter turning back into spring. Winter is SO hard on me. The low light and darkness make me feel half-alive, depressed, and I struggle to keep going. In spring, I feel like I can feel the earth coming back to life inside of me, and it brings ME back to life, too. The green grass and leaves appearing on the trees, the wildflowers, the birds singing, the daylight lasting so much longer! I wish we didn't have to have winters. Some people don't mind the frigid cold and darkness, but I hate it.
Stunning setting; that snow goose flying over was wild. You guys are blessed to live there, despite the winter hardships. We need the downs to appreciate the ups. My town is quite hilly which I curse sometimes but if it were flat, it'd be so boring & I'd not appreciate the magnificent views without any 'up'. Another beautiful vid, Jonna. Thank you two for sharing this beautiful special evening with us! ♥️ Spring is finally coming where I live too (South Dakota, USA). My husband and I went for a walk by our creek yesterday and I put my feet in the icecold water for the first time this year, it was magical!! Later that evening we had the first thunderstorm of the year, and I just opened the windows, read a book and listened to the rain. Nature gives us such peace if we allow it to!! ❤

The northern European culture - saunas and lakes! When we got married 24 years ago, our wedding was outside at a camp that had a sauna. My soon-to-be father-in-law actually helped build that sauna many years before then, and so helped us clean and refurbish it. We used it the night before our wedding, as part of our rehearsal dinner festivities. Granted, this was in the summer time, but even so, the evening started cooling down while we enjoyed first the dry heat followed by the wet heat, just as you two did. There was a pond right outside the sauna, so after we had sweated out the impurities, we ran out and jumped into the cool pond! It was so refreshing! Thank you for this video, it was one of the most special ones that you have released. The magic of both early spring days really did come through the screen to us.

My husband and I went for a walk by our creek yesterday and I put my feet in the icecold water for the first time this year, it was magical!! Later that evening we had the first thunderstorm of the year, and I just opened the windows, read a book and listened to the rain. Nature gives us such peace if we allow it to!! ❤

The northern European culture - saunas and lakes!
When we got married 24 years ago, our wedding was outside at a camp that had a sauna. My soon-to-be father-in-law actually helped build that sauna many years before then, and so helped us clean and refurbish it. We used it the night before our wedding, as part of our rehearsal dinner festivities. Granted, this was in the summer time, but even so, the evening started cooling down while we enjoyed first the dry heat followed by the wet heat, just as you two did. There was a pond right outside the sauna, so after we had sweated out the impurities, we ran out and jumped into the cool pond! It was so refreshing!

Yes, the dear old soul made it and I took my whole annual holiday to be able to help him over the next weeks and help him rebuild his ability to walk each new week additional 5 min. He is doing well and already playing and teasing again plus enjoys all the love and attention. It looks like he has a time of new life quality ahead of him and that makes me so happy and grateful.
