Thats a bike that will always have a special place in my heart.. that was my first brand new bike.. I had an 81 rm 80 before that. Big difference between the two. Im 50 years old and I still get down on my 85, 100 and 125. Smaller 2 strokes are my life..
Small strokers are just too much fun and fantastic to work on.

That’s awesome. My 6 year old kept destroying his new KTM50. I ended up putting him on a 20 year old KX60 and that thing hasn’t missed a beat. They don’t make bikes like they used to.
One kid had the 1980 cr 80. Another kid got this 1984 60. It was taller and faster. No one could believe it. At 50, i just purchased my first 80. 1986 cr80r. Building now. These videos are so nostalgic. Luvin it Kap! Ride on...

I had an 83 cr 60r , it ran for years with the same top end and finally sold it when I was to big for it. That bike was a rippa, keeping up with Kx 80s in

One of my first bikes! I got so wrecked on the many high sides this thing put me through as a kid. Ours was bored .30 over and was absolutely insane. We all shared it so we would go on walk/rides for miles

Next-door neighbor's son won a lot of races in the late 90's on his. The KX60 guys made jokes about it the first time he showed up with it. After the first moto when he holeshot and won........ crickets. lol

I have a 1983 cr60 first bike ever wicked fast recently restored it.
My first bike was a cr80. It was a beast. I was da shit. Lol. Gotta love the Cr baby.

Glad you did a video on this bike I have one I’ve been restoring it for a while. Rear shock is blown out so I need a new rear shocks and it needs a CDI other than that it’s great if you know where I can find those parts please let me know! It would be greatly appreciated keep up all the great work !

I had one of these when I was 8 years old around 1990-1991 and the thing was a rocket. Me and my buddy would ride 2 up and the bike wanted to dump us on our backs every time I got on it. Loved that bike

The HONDA MB5 should have had this 13 HP, 6-speed engine in it!
We put a h 100 engine into a mt5 ,fits in perfect with no alterations and makes a wild wild wheelie machine,so fast and light,amazing mod

I did a tricked out restoration on an 84 CR80 had a handmade alloy swingarm super tricked out like an old DMC custom mini and I got $7500 for it.
God I love it, love to see one of my kids on it! Or me lmao

I got one of these in like 2004 when i was a kid awsome bike to learn to ride on till my buddy blew it up riding it like an ass, unfortunately couldnt find the parts for it rip my childhood bike

not sure if it would be possible to send your truck/trailer to ontario canada but I could have just picked up 3 mint 60's, an '83, and two '84's...all 3 for $6000 CDN, he would not seperate. Seems to be quite a few vintage CR's floating around this area - we should get in touch, see if my idea could be a possibility, maybe the Canadian edition to Kaplan! Love the videos guys, bikes bring back so many memories
