Your content is a goldmine. I'm sorry that the algorithm took so long to find your audience, but believe me, it exists! I'm binge-watching your channel.
I was shocked to see 165 subs, you're mega talented and know what you're talking about and presented it all effectively and respected my time doing it. Truly quite epic of you to do that 😎
I'm really loving your content. I don't know anything about filmmaking but I really want to learn what goes into the process. As an English major, I can recognize great writing and it elevates my enjoyment. I'm hoping that I can learn enough to appreciate my favorite films in many layers. You have a great way of making core concepts accessible. Kudos! Can't wait for more!
Nicely done, this is solid! I've watched a handful of videos covering the Rule of 6 as I'm scripting one myself. Few if any have the insight to discuss them in this order, whcih makes for a far more interesting video lol. Also absolutely love how your personality came across in this, I was so absorbed in the info the whole time I didn't realize until it was done that I learned things about you as well. Hats off!
Thank you! I've just picked some TH-cam-friendly artists that I like and downloaded most of their work so that the music feels more unified and cohesive overall. It's mostly DivKid, Corbyn Kites, and Futuremono
I think what this random potato wants is for you to make a video about sound design and editing. At least that's what I understood, and something that interests me aswell!
Not only is this channel made for me as a freelance video editor, you've also got D20s and fidget toys on your desk. Say hello to your newest lifetime subscriber.
If you're interested in the thought process of film editing, like how an editor thinks about film and filmmaking, it's definitely worth a read! I'd also recommend are the Art of the Cut by Steve Hullfish if you want more industry insight of all the aspects of being an editor. As for courses, the only one I've taken was my four year degree in TV & Digital Entertainment, which...you know, I can't say is for everyone nor would I necessarily recommend it either.
@@cutting-concepts thanks for the detailed replied. I've already subbed. ✔ What book would you recommend for youtube editing? Art of the Cut ? or another one?
For editing here on TH-cam, there's no books that I know of (yet), but I'd recommend the channel @HillierSmith, he does a great job covering both the practice and theory of TH-cam editing.

This is great! I love the pacing of the edit, and how much information you were able to put into a 4 minute video. Thank you so much for making this!
Amazing! Very glad TH-cam recommended me this video 🎉 Straight to the point and perfect for anyone who's starting out their editing journey
