In general, no, it doesn’t 😌! The anti-slip pads are made of plastic, and if they get hot-along with the paint on your door-and you leave the bar on the doorframe without removing it, they can become sticky. When you finally take it off, there’s a small chance you might peel off some paint, but that’s a rare situation that almost never happens, I’d guess.
Good job buddy, you're doing great. On the right track and soon you'll be a muscle-building beast and your confidence will be top-notch, ha-ha. We'll see you!
We did do a skin the cat on the bar, but it did feel a bit scary. On rings it would be fairly similar, but the bar should be able to hold. Still we would advise you to be careful and make sure that your doorway is sturdy enough for it as well!:0
@@CalisthenicsWorldwide, thanks for your feedback! I saw it in the video, but was wondering if it was risky and if it would hold with rings. I'm starting the Calimove CC program (just finished the Home Workout program) and need an indoor pull up bar, sturdy enough but that doesn't break the bank or the wall. The one on the backyard isn't that pratical during the winter :)
@@JoaoLucas-ko1dl If you check your doorframe then this one should be a great option! For the rest we wish you a lot of fun with the CaliMove Program!:)

Does it damage your door frame, or house in general.

In your opinion, is it safe to do skin the cat on rings with this pull up bar?
