Dave Martin this was deer tour ‘19. The regulations for 2019 were 150 feet for a bow. Try again scooter.
If you can’t get pumped up watching Zach spot and stalk then you have issues. One of the best hunts this year.

As a new bow hunter spot and stalk looks like a ton of fun. I will mostly hunt public land just because I’m 3-6 hours from many great hunting areas. I’m hoping to be ready by late bow season.

I have never seen such open state land in ny. Usually everything I see is dense woods but I’m much more north than this video. I’d love to see them come chase turkeys in the northern adks. I think it would be an awesome video chasing turkeys in the big woods and mountains

I know, huh? With these guys in the deer woods bucks don't stand much chance. These guys change up tactics as needed and Zach is the best spot and stalk hunter I've ever seen.
Zach is without a doubt one of the best hunters on the planet. That kid is like a wild predator out there.
Back in the late 60's @ about age 16, I somehow acquired a copy of the "1965 Archery Hunting Digest" (or something like that) I still have it somewhere I believe.
Anyway I don't really think I knew anyone that archery hunted.. It was all about recurve bows, Bear broadheads and an insight into Fred Bear himself.
They didn't even wear camo back then, it was red & black checked Woolrich shirt.
They dug groundblinds, hid in a tree snag or even climbed up into the crotch of a tree. Mostly it was about stalking back then. I dont believe there were even any commercially made tree stands back then.I never saw a compound bow until about 1977.
Anyway I was intrigued, when zi turned 18 Ii bought a Ben Pearson, 45#, Mach 1 recurve bow.

Wow, that was the best hunt I've ever seen. Everything. The patience in the stalk, making the shot, the REAL, honest, pure emotion afterward. Also need to give major credit to Dylan for a fantastic job filming the kill shot and then keeping him in frame during the death run. Great job guys!!

That Buck heard the car/truck slowing down. You can hear the decrease in speed on the video. Smart Buck that got spooked just from that worked in Zac's favor. Crazy!!
Born and raised in Western NY and I have hunted here my whole life I can say over the last five years much more mature bucks have been taken I think it's a combination of better management, less hunters, and great habitat .... Congrats Zach he is a stud of a buck been looking forward to this series for a while

Wow Zack, that was awesome, I am 64 years old and have been chasing whitetails in Pa since I was 12. Never have I ever seen anything close to that hunt. My God man that was awesome, and after the shot he pretty much runs down Dylan's throat, and all on film. That was a once in a lifetime hunt, congratulations buddy.

S Walker happened to me 2 weeks ago. My dad shot a doe 100 yards away and it ran right to me and died 15 yards away from my stand.
Was hunting almost a mile from a guy i know on a public land trip a few years back, i hear a buck crashing through CRP field and hit water, I can see the side of the water he should’ve came out of and he never appeared. I immediately get a BBD text and told the guy ti come to me bc i know where the deer is. He says no it didn’t go that far come to me. Well blood was crappy so we trailed him until 9:30 which law says you have to be off of the place by and had totally lost the trail. The whole time I was saying plz just go look in the creek and he said no that’s too far. Well we leave and have work the next day so can’t come back. Fast forward a few months and he is out there shed huntin and sends me a picture of his decomposed buck floating in the creek right where i told him it was.
If you knew right where it was, why didn't you go there yourself before meeting up with him??
Wayne Jones because he was so insistent that the deer didn’t go far that I doubted myself. He wanted me to come right away to help him before dark so I couldn’t just immediately go to where I thought the deer was dying or I may have busted him.

Dylan, this is the most steady hand held camera work for wildlife footage I've seen in a long time. Wildlife, especially Bucks can be so difficult to get quality footage of but you made it look easy. You kept your "focus" on that smaller buck even when he was looking for trouble. Not an easy task. Great work. You might want to look up "born and raised" I hear their looking for a good videographer.

I don't care what anyone says, that hunt was an ultimate hunt!! I am still amazed at the effort it takes to carry all the equipment to do a spot and stalk, and get footage like that!!! Zack, you commented on the New York hunting law that don't let you hunt until the sun is up!.... Turns out, you still had enough hunting light to score big on that one!! Great job!!!

Zach has got to be the best spot and stalk deer hunter I have ever seen recorded on video! This is not the first time he has shown us how he zeroes on a kill after spotting a buck either bedded or in open terrain. From those of us who have limited time in the field - thanks for posting these great videos. I don't know how you guys get so much time to be out day after day but I surely would enjoy it too!

This is by far the greatest hunting video I've seen. Ice been hunting ny for 12 years and never seen a buck like this. And to stalk in thos dry conditions is just incredible. I'd give good money to hunt with these guys and have them help me get even a decent deer.

2019 I seen a bunch of hunters out on public land with guille suits and hang on stands and sticks. I think 2020 hunting season I'll see a bunch of trucks parked on the side of the roads glassing for deer lol.

I’m born and raised NY, been hunting since before being technically legal, and have watched hundreds of hunting videos. That was the coolest, most awesome, and likely greatest hunt I’ve ever seen. If luck has a another name, it’s Zach. Congrats guys. By far my favorite group of guys to watch. We’re going to have to meet up. NY has some great spots and some unpublicized huge bucks.
