- I'm a huge Hamilton fan since watching it in London in 2019,
and also a bonafide Disney geek, knowing most of the songs by heart since young...
so when I received this news that I was potentially going to interview him I was over the moon!!
Oh the nerves I felt when I was sitting in a virtual holding room looking at a black screen getting ready to meet him!!
I did much research and wanted to ask a little more in-depth questions about songwriting for Encanto. He was a dream to talk to, everything I expected and more.
Thank you Lin-Manuel for doing what you do, my 4 yo kid rattles off "How does a bastard orphan, son of a whore, and a Scotsman..." every once in a while and I'm so dang proud of it.

Honestly the best LMM Encanto interview I've seen - your questions were so original, exploring the music in a more in-depth, interesting and enthusiastic way. You could tell how much he was enjoying speaking to a fellow musician about his work! Thanks for sharing!
