Chemical. I love you disposition and bed-side manner, so to speak. You appear to be a genuinely kind and caring doctor. You always treat your patients with respect.
Having watched dozens of podiatrists carefully enucleate corns with the scalpel I honestly didn't think this was going to work. But lo and behold - it came straight out. Never seem a chemical used on a corn in this way. Verucca yes, but not a corn. Saved that patient a lot of digging with the sharp tip of the scalpel to get at the core. Chemical!
Chemical!!! I love that you constantly check to make sure the patient isn't in any pain. I accompanied my mom to her podiatry appointment and even though she told him something was painful, & instead of stopping & addressing the issue, he told her, "No, it's not," and kept going until I *told* him to stop. We ended the appointment and found her a new Podiatrist with a much better bedside manner.
Hi Darnia, I am so sorry to hear about you and your mother's painful experience. I definitely hope you have found a better podiatrist that treats your mother well!
I love the way you do things. You are so different ,but so intelligent. You explain things to your patients so they don’t panic at the word chemical as for the duct tape, hey. Whatever works’
It's important to note that while some individuals may find relief using duct tape, it might not work for everyone which means Dr Kim was basically talking rubbish. Ask him to show scientific evidence to support the efficacy of duct tape in treating corns
You tell the patient you've removed all the corn... at 3:10, then carry on digging away at what could be the real corn centre! confusing and misleading.
This is so funny.. I had 17 plantar warts on the bottom of my feet for years, never did anything with them.. one day I decided to put duct tape around my feet to cut off the oxygen!! It worked so fast!! Within weeks they were all gone, I've been trying to get people to try it, no one believes me, so thank you for the confirmation!!
So duct tape works by cutting off the oxygen supply. Wonder if it'll work on seborrheic keratoses? I've been removing some with apple cider vinegar but it takes so long.
But a corn is not living unlike a verucca or wart,. I thought a corn was because of pressure caused by walking wrong. It's a build up of hard skin. Or am I wrong?
Chemical. I have watched Several foot doctors. I can honestly say say I like your technique the best great job Dr. I am looking forward to to seeing more. I used to work on my friend’s feet. I cannot understand why people don t soak their feet at least a couple times a week, it feels so good they wouldn’t get such a build up of calluses it is important to take care of your feet they do not seem to understand that. I soak my feet in lemon juice, alcohol, baking soda, sometimes vinegar. I suggest they do it when they are relaxing. I have a plastic square dish pan I got at the hardware store😅, give it a try you will thank me it is so relaxing you feet feel so good. I always rub a cream on my feet after I soak them.
Dr. Kim I think you have the best approach to cutting out a corn you just deep dish it out, until it's gone and It can't cause any pain because there's nothing to press on everyone's happy 🤗👍🏻✨🖋️
Yeah. That is the appropriate thing to do. I’m pretty sure this was not a corn. It looked very much like a wart, which actually can be removed this way.
Probably depends on the corn. Some kind of vary in width the deeper you go, and you’d likely cut out good tissue and cause unnecessary irritation by just doing a hole punch
I hav painful nerve damage in feet..so hyper sensitive in some areas im afraid that after shaving it down it will still hurt after all that skin removal is that poss to get nerve pain in calluse in same spot as hers.
I'd like to schedule an appointment to see you. I'm having an issue with a callous forming on the bottom of my right foot I keep shaving it but not doing a good job I don't have the proper equipment please help
Because the problem is mechanical. The way you walk causes a pressure point where skin is formed to protect that area but hardens up too much. This will always come back if don't address the root problem.
I wish you lived here. I'm always getting them on the pad of my foot... I wear safety shoes for work and I think that's part of the reason I use an over-the-counter corn removal for relief but over time it sometimes comes back. I'm terrified to go see a podiatrist
I’ve watched a lot of corn removals this to me seems more like a wart than a corn. I’ve never seen them use chemicals on a corn. They just dig it out and there’s not a lot of feeling and they don’t have to do surgeries so I’m a little confused. He keeps calling this a corn is it a different kind of corn?
Chemical! I'm seeing a foot doctor regularly now. Once every three months because I'm diabetic. And the small issues I have had have been dealt with immediately. But everyone should see a foot doctor periodically to get things like this dealt with. No one should suffer for four years. That's completely unnecessary.
Doctor, I don’t under stand the purpose to keep the duct tape on there. I know you said, living things need oxygen, but a corn is not a living thing. It is a result of pressure of the bone against the shoe, the fat having been lost in that foot pad. And it will come back unless padding is added to that area of the shoe. And no, I’m not a podiatrist, but I have been treated by several and watch quite a few Podiatrists’ TH-cam channels. I know you’re a holistic doctor and I respect that and don’t feel it’s a negative for you, but the duct tape comment really surprised me.
And oh, man, as I listened to the rest of the video, you use the chemical burn on it! Oh, my gosh, I can’t believe you do that. It is a simple procedure of scraping like you did, and then removing the core of the corn with the tip of your scalpel. People say it’s painless in most instances, and only momentarily painful if the podiatrist digs a little too deep. OMG. Man, you need another Podiatrist.
Back when i learned about the human body, oxygen was delivered to tissues by the blood. I’m pretty sure your skin does a good job of being a barrier to gas diffusion. Also as mentioned above the corn is made from dead skin cells with lots of keratin no?
There’s this thing called “blood” and it absorbs oxygen in the lungs and carries it all round the body in these things called “blood vessels”. That’s how the skin gets its oxygen, not by absorption from the air.
Is it really oxygen via tape though? It seems strange. Everything in our body relies on oxygen via blood flow from our lungs and heart. How can a wart breath on its own? It's living off the oxygen from our blood. There has to be another reason for the tape method.
I don’t get it either. The skin is produced by our cells, and they are supplied with oxygen through our blood… and the corn is thickening of the skin 🤷♀️ Or am I missing something?
Chemical. I love you disposition and bed-side manner, so to speak. You appear to be a genuinely kind and caring doctor. You always treat your patients with respect.
Hi Rebecca, thank you so much for this incredible comment! And thank you for watching my video!

I know this patient can walk so much better. 😊
Why didn't u dig the core out doc with the tip of the blade
It may picture the skin
The Toebro dig the core out very carefully.
Chemical!!! I love that you constantly check to make sure the patient isn't in any pain. Chemical! Great advice too! Thank you and Merry Christmas 🎄
Chemical. Always a great video! Thank you Dr. Kim!
Dr. Kim, you are so nice to your patients! I loved watching this one.
Chemical. I don't know Doc. I think there is still some core left in that first one. I guess time will tell.
Remember he told her to use the Duct tape on it every day and it will die off totally. It would be nice if we could find out.
Chemical. Great video again. Love your work!
You tell the patient you've removed all the corn... at 3:10, then carry on digging away at what could be the real corn centre! confusing and misleading.
Your right!!
If it was a core, it would be a lot more painful to remove
Could anyone recommend a good podiatrist in south Jersey?
Chemical!!! Learned so much from your video so Thanks Doc!! 😉🙏🏻❤️❤️❤️
Chemical! Great video Dr. Kim!
I'm one of your fan from the UK Bedfordshire great job.

I have a friend who got rid of corns doing the same thing
I wish you would show the results of your work. I enjoy watching your videos.
Chemical. You seem like a fine doctor and person. Nice video.
I have the same for over 20 years. So painful so I do it with a grater. 😢
@elizadoolittle5251 hello, are you still have this corn?
So duct tape works by cutting off the oxygen supply. Wonder if it'll work on seborrheic keratoses? I've been removing some with apple cider vinegar but it takes so long.

You're right. I wonder about this guy.
Fantastic Doc Kim.🤗

Most IPK's come on a weight-bearing surface. What chemical did you use and for how long? Did you do anything to offload those weight-bearing areas?
I dunno…I think the core in that first one is still there. He needed to use the tip of the blade to get it out.
Agree. So frustrating.
Dr. Kim I think you have the best approach to cutting out a corn you just deep dish it out, until it's gone and It can't cause any pain because there's nothing to press on everyone's happy 🤗👍🏻✨🖋️
What about keeping the pressure off
Yeah. That is the appropriate thing to do. I’m pretty sure this was not a corn. It looked very much like a wart, which actually can be removed this way.
Can these be "core punched" out? Similar to how a dermatologist does a biopsy. Just wondering if that's an option.
Probably depends on the corn. Some kind of vary in width the deeper you go, and you’d likely cut out good tissue and cause unnecessary irritation by just doing a hole punch
Just curious, what's the name of the Chemical?
丁寧な施術、恐れ入ります、ドクターキム👍

Chemical! So happy for the man!
Chemical ... Great upload!
what treatment do you use for dupuytren's contracture of the foot?
What’s the name of chemical?? Is the same is available in India. In my mom both feet total 6corn are there. Please let me know the name
Just wondering why you didn’t deenucliate it out with the tip of the blade.
What kind of Acid do you use?
Is it TCA or silver nitrate?
Chemical! Love your channel.
Are these corns, or plantar warts??
Chemical. I like watching you work.
Chemical...Great video Dr.Kim😊
"Chemical" very satisfying and relaxing to love any type of removal video I use it like therapy
I removed the core and it came back. I went to the point where you see blood.
Because the problem is mechanical. The way you walk causes a pressure point where skin is formed to protect that area but hardens up too much. This will always come back if don't address the root problem.
Omg why are u burning out corns doctor. Tht sounds crazy to me and we can still see the core inside of the foot. And do u say duck tape? Omg
More money!!
Chemical 😊love you and your videos. Learn a lot
What is the name of the chemical you used?
Bless you, sir! 🥹🙏🏾
Wow - well Ive had mine for over 5 years now - Maybe its time I go get them taken care of.
It will always come back unless the structural deformation is corrected.
It is a very simple matter to filter out hum. You should try it with this video.
Yep!!! Down here in Alabama we use duct tape for everything, marriage, everything. 😂😂😂
Does anyone know if lidocaine injection is administered before performing the cutting/ removal? Just a curious EMT. #chemical #sweetdoctor ❤
Great job Dr.
Chemical …. Great video😊😊
Loved your video 😊 I try and watch them all there brilliant THANKYOU
Chemical❤❤❤❤From south Africa much love Dr❤❤
Will it come back that’s the question
I had three of them like 25 years back. I just cut them out myself with a shaving blade and I am fine. They were painful.
I wish you lived here. I'm always getting them on the pad of my foot... I wear safety shoes for work and I think that's part of the reason
I use an over-the-counter corn removal for relief but over time it sometimes comes back.
I'm terrified to go see a podiatrist
A piece of corn was left in first removal. Dont understand why scalpel tip was not used to clean out the entirety of corn.
What the name of the corn remover
Corn or Veruka?
It’s not finished,!!
What is the chemical salisilic acid?
I’ve watched a lot of corn removals this to me seems more like a wart than a corn. I’ve never seen them use chemicals on a corn. I didn't understand the duct tape either since a corn is not a living thing. However, if it was a wart, then it would make sense.
The wartime gets oxygen from the blood supply, not the air, so that makes no sense at all. This is not curing anything.
Back when i learned about the human body, oxygen was delivered to tissues by the blood. I’m pretty sure your skin does a good job of being a barrier to gas diffusion. Also as mentioned above the corn is made from dead skin cells with lots of keratin no?
What exactly is a corn? Chemical.
I managed to remove a corn that was inbetween my little toe very awkward to get to do I used medical tape and it didn't take long to remove
Chemical. Well done sir
CHEMICAL 🙂 Great work. Her feet are looking much better.
Thank you so much, Cynthia!
Hlw doctor, how can I contact you
Dr Kim where ingrown toenail?
Why are these growths called corns?
chemical great video, learned a lot about duck tape.
which chemical used ?
Dr. Kim you did great! As requestex...CHEMICAL!
Why would you let it go that long????😮
Get the core out pleaseeee
I always get the core out of my callous a total of 4 / 2 on each foot and they keep coming back
Either pressure and friction or clogged sweat glands can cause corns.
There’s this thing called “blood” and it absorbs oxygen in the lungs and carries it all round the body in these things called “blood vessels”. That’s how the skin gets its oxygen, not by absorption from the air.
Exactly what I was thinking 🤷♀️🤦♀️
Chemical! I just subscribed to you! I enjoyed watching this! I will be back!
I can understand why you use chemicals, it was a corn not a wart. Corns are caused by pressure.
Yes satisfying to see
I never before heard of using a chemical for deep seated corns.
You didn't get the root?
Is it really oxygen via tape though? It seems strange. Everything in our body relies on oxygen via blood flow from our lungs and heart. How can a wart breath on its own? It's living off the oxygen from our blood. There has to be another reason for the tape method.
which chemical is it?
Chemical. Good job.
A corn isn’t a living thing so why would it need oxygen?
He was referring to the surrounding tissues. When Oxygen is cut -off, affected tissues die and affect the condition of the corn.
You need to look again. He says that he is stopping the corn from coming back by depriving it of oxygen. Corns don’t use oxygen.
I don’t get it either. The skin is produced by our cells, and they are supplied with oxygen through our blood… and the corn is thickening of the skin 🤷♀️ Or am I missing something?
