Omg so perfect way to describe this episode. I watch it whenever I'm stressed out and can't even think without stressing myself out so I just listen to this and it helps just get my mind in something fun and funny
John From Pittsburgh: “ yeah my frickin mother used to have this doll that scared the shit out of me when I was little, and uhhh…yeah she would leave it on my dresser when I went to bed…”
This is probably the greatest Nopie episode. Sam playing off Jim and Ant instead of being the Opster's parrot actually makes him much more enjoyable. If anyone listens to this clip a lot, do yourself a favor and Google the video available where the audio of this show is played over the CGS episode.
+anadryantontine Yeah, but later on in the show, instead of hearing Alec Baldwin whine about what a shitty place NYC is turning into (which is both entertaining and true; I was dying to hear Jimmy's take), we were regaled with yet another 20 minute story from Ant's tin-knocking days. So glad he's gone and never coming back.
Corbin Stereoni gonna have to agree to disagree I guess, but how can you hear stories from a guy who worked his ass off half of his life, and was able to get into a business that showed his true talent. I hate that he got fired. dude is an inspiration to hard working guys that want a better life.
Hahahaha wonderful. The man playing "Ghost Edgar", according to IMDB, is Jeffrey Alan Solomon, or Jeff Solomon for short. Someone made a post titled "It's Edgar" on the boards for his personal IMDB page, saying only "My teeth are dry.." and HE RESPONDED. He has his own IMDB account named jsolomonmusic. He answered "I never look at messages here. That was some memorable dialogue. You remembered."
I start to forget how good they were back in the days. Jimmy got them to film a reenactment of a tied up Edgar telling the mob that his mouth is dry. Nowadays he just complains about things not being fresh enough.
This made me laugh out loud. Jimmy's great. I don't watch celebrity ghost stories but i was switching through the channels one day and it was on and I saw that Jim Norton was the guest and watched it because it was him. Nice to hear him talk about it.
sdry You've obviously never seen the show or you'd know it's not just paranormal shit. In fact, most of the cases on there were unsolved crimes. It's atheists like you that make everyone hate us. You seem like the douche that loses his shit when you sneeze and someone says "Bless you."
I’ve actually never heard of celebrity ghost stories until I heard this bit. I was able to understand the premise of the idea of the show, and I laughed so hard when the reveal of Edgar. In a way that I’m a little bit bummed out, because had I known about celebrity ghost stories, and watched a few and being entertained by it , I would’ve probably laughed twice as hard hearing Jim Norton story
Jesus. The story is actually pretty fuckin scary if u don't watch the Edgar part. I don't believe in any supernatural shit, but the fact that he pulled it over them is fucking great. Great actor.
God I remember when I’d be bored at night and would go somewhere and then decide to just drive around with no real direction and listen to O&A from that prior day and can vividly remember listening to this one
No he didn’t. In the original story he brought up dice gave him a suit in an old mob hotel and he heard talking in the hallway. That’s it. He’s sense jokes about this appearance and A&E has removed the episode from everything. You can buy episode, sure, but A&E doesn’t show this episode
I don't know how many times I've listened to this, but I just realized 25 minutes in that I've never been annoyed listening to this one. What was my realization? Opie is not in this clip.
Remember Patrice saying Norton couldve starred in 13 ghosts, just walking around no makeup on😂
I thought this was serious right up till "my mouth is dry" funniest thing ever love lil Jimmy.
I actually had trouble breathing with how hard I was laughing at the Edgar reveal . Unreal
Hahaha, 27:50 “I actually felt bad for Ed-“
“SHUDDUP!”
“Well, that’s over…”
Ant: "A scary story huh? You should tell it with a flashlight under your chin"
Jim: "Good luck finding it..."
Angela Benedetto The sweetest boy
He was voted "boy most likely to be sweet and hugable".
And diagnosed with AHBD.
But he was cured of that
Fucking lightning fast Ant.
I can't stop laughing at the image of Kenny being played by an ostrich.
Reminds me of the Always Sunny Halloween episode with Mac's memory of Dee in the bathroom, played by an ostrich.
But can an ostrich give bad news?
"I told you not to go to the Edgar Suite. He'll want his teeth licked!"
To this day you can still hear the echo “Good morning GH let me go retrieve blueberries”
This is definitely a good one for the bedtime playlist, a few spooks, a few laughs and chill vibe to get you ready for a good night's sleep.
Omg so perfect way to describe this episode. I watch it whenever I'm stressed out and can't even think without stressing myself out so I just listen to this and it helps just get my mind in something fun and funny
and no Opie.
Well said. I crash out listening to this. It’s like old radio back when well done stories we’re told to you before bedtime.
@@AwfulWaffle8474 I don't know, Snowy from Michigan may have had a better ghost story. Bluuuuugh
Duuude ya got ya laughs, couple spooks, boom, sleep
Jimmy bamboozling a cable TV program with a classic Edgar Melloncamp "Aprul Falls" prank is the hardest i've laughed at the show in weeks.
Is that where the Chip podcast episode title came from?
It’s one of the best trolling I’ve ever heard
He wasn't trolling, he wanted his face on tv and had no story to tell.
"HOLD ON! HOLD ON! HOLD ON! ...John from Pittsburgh, PA has a ghost story he wants to tell everybody..."
thank god Opie wasn't there
JOHN YOUR ON THE AIR GO
John From Pittsburgh: “ yeah my frickin mother used to have this doll that scared the shit out of me when I was little, and uhhh…yeah she would leave it on my dresser when I went to bed…”
Opie was actually great in this one.
His best show?
This is probably the greatest Nopie episode. Sam playing off Jim and Ant instead of being the Opster's parrot actually makes him much more enjoyable. If anyone listens to this clip a lot, do yourself a favor and Google the video available where the audio of this show is played over the CGS episode.
@@TTM-1999 great idea but i gave up after 10 fake sites could u pls link it
Oh no no no, you must be mistaken. Opie was actually not in this one
@@evansgate oh, literal Evan!
“My mouth is..........dryyyy”
LoL...Edgar the Ghost.
This NEEDS to be on VideO&A.
I want everyone to understand, they actually hired an actor to portray Edgar. Let that sink in
What a wonderful Nopie clip. No "WAIT WAIT WAIT LET'S GO TO MONGO".
anadryantontine lmfao, why is this so real?!
So glad he's gone and never coming back.
urassinmyface Not entirely true. Are you forgetting the immortal "K-I-K-E 12 to K-I-K-E 1" joke during the Rich Vos/Shining bit?
this clip would have had considerably less views if Opie had taken part in it
Corbin Stereoni gonna have to agree to disagree I guess, but how can you hear stories from a guy who worked his ass off half of his life, and was able to get into a business that showed his true talent. I hate that he got fired. dude is an inspiration to hard working guys that want a better life.

haha
Perhaps one of the greatest trollings ever haha. The fact that Edgar is now immortalized on a tv show forever is fucking amazing haha
Because of the TBS festival of laughs or whatever it was called Chip and Uncle Paul are also immortalized on television
"Did you find a mirror?" God dammit Anthony.
The timing was perfection
Try to imagine an alternate universe where opie quit in 2013, anthony doesnt get fired and this is the show we are still listening to 10 years later
Too depressing to imagine given what ended up happening
"I actually felt bad for poor Edgar there, he was like crying -"
"SHED EP!"
"Well, that's over."
Jim and Ant held their own but Opie was perfect in this clip. 4:32 12:23 19:09 24:46 25:15 26:04
I was disappointed to find out celebrity ghost stories wasn't about celebrity ghosts.
12:40 Jimmy struggling to tell that joke made it more hilarious lmfaoo
I start to forget how good they were back in the days. Jimmy got them to film a reenactment of a tied up Edgar telling the mob that his mouth is dry. Nowadays he just complains about things not being fresh enough.
Lil jimmys episode is currently unavailable for some reason, LOL
a GHAST took it down
hahahaha nice:D
the guy playing Jimmy in the dramatization looked more like Karl Pilkington

I had first watched this clip before I even knew that Edgar was a Norton character. I kept wondering what was so funny.
So happy he got the edgar room, and "my mouth is so dry" references in. Watching that, I giggled like a silly school girl
This made me laugh out loud. Jimmy's great. I don't watch celebrity ghost stories but i was switching through the channels one day and it was on and I saw that Jim Norton was the guest and watched it because it was him. Nice to hear him talk about it.
I got a ghost on my house
I wanna see the ghost movie.
McGowal24 like on the roof?
Opie was still haunting the studio in this one
19:10 is one of the funniest reveals I've ever seen
I can only imagine the serious responses and questions there would be if a certain somebody was in that day
Unsolved Mysteries was a great show and was better than anything on NBC today.
The Kurt Cobain one was great!
Josh Yettou He's dead, mystery solved!
those ghost shows are for fucking children. You probably believe in god as well
sdry You've obviously never seen the show or you'd know it's not just paranormal shit. In fact, most of the cases on there were unsolved crimes. It's atheists like you that make everyone hate us. You seem like the douche that loses his shit when you sneeze and someone says "Bless you."
Community was decent, but maybe I'm just a Dan Harmon fan.
I love how half way through, you realize Jim used that TV show to shoehorn in Edgar.
MY MOUTH IS DRY
Jimmy's other story was when he was a young child and his family stayed in the Paul suite.
zealot416 Ah, boo.
a ghost story?
"Suuuuuure."
Opie must of had the day off?? I don't hate the guy but I'm kinda glad cause I feel like he would butt in with stupid remarks during Jim's story
Ghost Edgar Mellencamp. Lol.
Jimmy's story was true! I stayed in the same suite and was woken up in the middle of the night to Edgar's ghost moaning BOOOOOOO.....APPPRILLL FAALLS
I was listening to this in the dark in bed and I literally had to turn on the light. This creeped me out.
holy fuck this is hilarious, jimmy is a fucking genius
The flow of this segment was so good. I wonder what is different?
what do tha ghost say? BOO BOO BOO BOO BOO BOO BOO
This is a good clip but I think it would be better if there was someone to say bravo Jimmy at the end.
Jesus Christ I am in tears at the Edgar reveal . Holy shit what a great laugh
Currently sitting in my cubicle crying at this.
Jesus. The story is actually pretty fuckin scary if u don't watch the Edgar part. I don't believe in any supernatural shit, but the fact that he pulled it over them is fucking great. Great actor.
I first listened to this not even knowing about the Edgar character. I couldn't figure out what everyone was finding so funny.
If you think a ghost is near, it doesn’t hurt to: LOOK AROUND.
This makes me question all reality tv now.
NOW?
Best break ever.
Opie was excellent in this show!!
God I remember when I’d be bored at night and would go somewhere and then decide to just drive around with no real direction and listen to O&A from that prior day and can vividly remember listening to this one
I can't believe Lifetime got Karl Pilkington to play Norton.
thanks for the lifetime link!
Markie Post. Random Greatness. Hillarious.
While in the Men's Room, Jimmy reported hearing strange sounds. Crinkle-crinkle-crinkle.

"I'm dry... My mouth is dry."
At least it wasn’t the ghost of Ted trying to sell some marmalade
Teds Ectoplasm Emporium
I thought it's about celebrities ghosting Jimmy ...
The Unsolved Mysteries re-enactments were so scary.
That show and its theme song were creepy as fuck.
Lmao did you find a mirror?
scariest thing about this should be opies idea of good radio.
jimmy's black sabbath shirt is backwards. now you can never un-see it.
Jim actually told this story years before this. Minus the mentioning of Edgar. However he did mention the mafia activity the hotel was infamous for.
No he didn’t. In the original story he brought up dice gave him a suit in an old mob hotel and he heard talking in the hallway. That’s it. He’s sense jokes about this appearance and A&E has removed the episode from everything. You can buy episode, sure, but A&E doesn’t show this episode
Hey Steven: thanks for the uploads, dude. I've officially replaced listening to Howard with these uploaded daily segments.
I love that show!!! I didn't see the Jimmy Episode
Yesss Edgar creeping into other forms of media!!
not finding anything about Edgar murder on google
I don't know how many times I've listened to this, but I just realized 25 minutes in that I've never been annoyed listening to this one. What was my realization? Opie is not in this clip.
Is that Ernest drinking in the thumbnail?
This is still one of my favorite goofs
Jimmy would probably hang out with Edgar over Opie at this point.
"celebrity " 🤣
jimmy is a genius
Many ghosts ago.
2:11 They don’t think he has any secrets left
Isnt there a video where anthony talks about edgar in an australian accent? I can't find it on youtube. I just remember it being hilarious
Jimmy said, his "April Fuulllsss" was based on the Edgar ghost at the hotel in Vegas.
Does anyone know where the video footage for this episode can be found?

Sam trying to be funny is worse than Opie.
Not even close
man...how have i never heard this before!!!! so fucking funny
You can really tell how much more they enjoy it without the destroyer in studio even the teftdog loves it
