Certainly far more affordable for a nice place. Close-ish to beach / large cities Dislikes: The heat during summer, but at least it's cool in the mornings and evenings and not humid.
I dislike your choice of winery to promote here.. Akash is new only open a few years. IMO you should have chosen one of the OG wineries to represent Temecula. But aside from that, this was actually a pretty cool video.. you should do more of these, maybe make it a regular bit every few months or couple times a year.. in each sister city too would be cool.
@@laurenhopkins9160 first and foremost, thank you so much for tuning in! I really appreciate it. I highlighted other wineries and some other videos. But there’s so many to choose from. Definitely have to do some more winery videos. I’ll also do some similar videos to this one in some of the Sister cities. Thanks again!
Just FYI your voice is only coming through one of the channels. I had a couple videos that had the same issue where I needed to shift them to mono (or clone the left and right channel) to get my voice in both. You probably already know this, but I made several videos all in one channel and no one pointed it out to me. 🤣😭
Anytime I mention moving to Temecula or Menifee people warn me about losing everything in fires and earthquakes. I guess you roll the dice...what do you say ?
I’m not sure where you’re would be moving from, but I haven’t known anyone that’s lost anything in an earthquake and I’ve lived here my entire life. As far as fire goes, if you’re not moving to a woodland area, you should be OK. Most of this area is suburb.
Traffic is hell on earth! Typical city that grew way faster than the infrastructure. Freeway exits are 20 years behind the demand, as is all infrastructure. Hope you like strip malls because there is NOTHING unique or "Mom & Pop" about any retail here, stores or restaurants. It's all Applebee's and BJ's repeated every 6 blocks. It's all corporate America. Forgot to mention: Summer will get you at least 100 days in the 100 degrees!
@@TemeculaWithJamesShelbyand what exactly would you "notice" from us being conservative? The fact that it's not covered in homeless? We dont have freaks walking around everywhere? Very little litter and graffiti? People are polite? Yeah I love being conservative and if you're not, leave
I came here in 76 when my dad bought a avocado grove , then helped him start the fourth winery in Temecula in 1980
That’s incredible. You really a part of history in this town. Thank you for sharing I appreciate that. Is the winery that you guys started still open?
@@TemeculaWithJamesShelby Originally Filsinger then Danza Del Sol, its been recently sold
I moved here 3 1/2 years ago, LOVE IT HERE!
Love it! Thank you for sharing!

Love this! Thank you for contributing! A lot of my favorites in your list. I love Swing Inn!
Guadalajara’s is a staple!
The goat and vine has best pizzas in Riverside. 40 bucks a pop but they are gourmet.

Very conservative town .
I’ve heard that but haven’t noticed it very much in my own experience. But everyone’s view is different.
