I love the Cuban sandwich at Havana Kitchen and one of my favorite stores in Old Town is Au Savin De Provence (French soap store). J’adore le magasin de savons à Temecula.

Traffic is hell on earth! Typical city that grew way faster than the infrastructure. Freeway exits are 20 years behind the demand, as is all infrastructure. Hope you like strip malls because there is NOTHING unique or "Mom & Pop" about any retail here, stores or restaurants. It's all Applebee's and BJ's repeated every 6 blocks. It's all corporate America. Forgot to mention: Summer will get you at least 100 days in the 100 degrees!

Spot on. We looked all over Southern CA for 2-3 years before purchasing in the Winchester corridor a few months ago. Best bang for our buck- we have a ton of space now. It's very close to the more developed cities and about an hour to the coast but have amazing views and great weather. The rural dirt roads are getting paved for even better access and tons of commercial already breaking ground. It's going to really come together in the next few years.

Coming from the Bay Area......there are no top restaurants in Temecula. I have lived 20 years in the area, and most of the ones noted here as the top ones are average. best pizza place, Uncle Gino's, Best Mexican - Baja cactus more authentic and the food is home to me. Cuban Havana Kitchen is average, best Cuban go to LA Versailles.

I’m in Paseo del Sol and 100% Italian. Francesca’s is awesome, authentic food, but a bit pricey.

Agree great area to invest lots of options with new track homes 🏠 will go up 30-30 percent in 5 years

Winchester price is kinda for nothing really going on over there. Menifee just needs a movie theater and/or bowling.

Dont think you can live in Temecula if you have to make a commute to san diego or oc. It will destroy your marriage..its too long and too much traffic. Take a oractice drive in rush hour and see..

2.5 daily hour drives 😂😅. Id rather live in a shoebox 20 mins from work than these cities. Its amazing what people will sacrifice in life juat to live in a bigger nicer home. People are nuts

Lived in old town for a few years when I was a child. My mom would always take us to Rosa’s Cantina. Was the best food spot in old town. Heard it’s closed down now though.

Thanks for the video. A couple of things came to mind watching this, but first I wanted to let you know there is an error in the population information for Wildomar. The screen graphic showed 3,800 people, and you stated 38,000 people live there, so I figured one of them is incorrect. Second, anything over $600,000 is not affordable for a house, at least not for the average person. If you are in real estate, or have a very well paying job, you can manage purchasing something in these price ranges, but someone making $100,000 a year would not qualify for the mortgage. Third, when you stated "Most Affordable Cities" in the title of this video, I immediately thought of several things besides just buying a house. There are groceries, gas, utilities (internet and its reliability included) and healthcare to consider when planning on living somewhere.

I grew up in San Diego. I currently live in Boise, ID. South Riverside County is nice. City of Riverside…no thanks.

Every single one of these locations was considered a sewer 5 years ago. Then Temecula home prices shot through the roof. California sucks.

Real drive time is 2.5hrs one way to work in traffic. You'll be dead in the ground 20yrs earlier due to this hidden tax and stress on your life, but hey you can say I have my own home.

"Affordability" being 450k and 600k+ is just ridiculous. With current rates, you need to make a bare minimum of 150k as a household just to make it work at the lowest price. I don't understand how prices keep climbing and people keep buying. These are the "cheap" homes in Socal. I guess everyone is just a millionaire in other communities in Socal?

Do you recommend Fallbrook as well? Our dream is to buy a semi affordable home somewhere in the hills of Southern California.

Geographically SoCal is a beautiful place, been there twice myself in Indian Wells. My late father used to live there and I loved every minute I was there. But these days it has gone crazy expensive, who knows maybe on day I'll go again.
