Appreciate you guys stepping out of your comfort zone, but after listening to the whole episode I have some stuff you guys missed, and a bit of criticism as to how this was approached. Blessing, you mentioned early in the episode that you wish you could see where you have your points so you know what dialogue option to pick. When you are given dialogue options that use your stats it says which stat it uses, and if you hover over the word it tells you the number each roll using that stat is automatically increased by (IDK how this works on Steam deck). That popped out to me immediately, but I guess you missed it. Greg, your complaints about the combat system, and saying it could be much better are- and I think you'd probably admit this- not super valid considering you haven't really played other titles like this to compare to (not to mention you're only 5 hours in). The combat in the game is actually extremely impressive, and offers a ton of interaction with the environment and neat combos which are very unique to the game. I'm not saying it's a perfect system, but as a listener your complaints kinda came off sounding like "I don't know this, so I don't like this" which is fair, but you can't knock the system for that and say "the combat could be much better" and use it as a detractor against the game like you did. I have friends who hardly game and are picking this system up immediately because of how well it uses the D&D formula which they have much experience playing. Obviously understand why it is unfamiliar to you though.
Fastest way to learn is to actually play D&D. Larian worked really hard to make sure as many systems matched as possible between the table top version and BG3
Great to hear their opinions. Surprised to here them struggle with the combat so much. I understand turned based for everyone but the tool tips are quite good for what I have seen. Hopefully it grows on them.
are you surprised? how long have you watched their content? lol I guess the only surprising one is Blessing since he plays turn based games. Greg though has hated that stuff all his life. Andy can go either way, but I think he tends to not prefer it
It's really gutting to see journalists who are closest to dev studios, asking for Baldurs Gate to be dumbed down. Don't we have enough simplistic games?
Long time dnd dm/player. Those new to dnd often have similar takes that combat can be boring, but in my experience this opinion begins to change once your character hits level 5-7. That is the sweet spot for most classes early game where you notice your skills go up and options during combat and role play increase as well. Dnd combat is more like a game of chess, or a puzzle/riddle to figure out before being rewarded with more role play. Hopefully my perspective helps out and you begin to love it for why its different than most other games available. Ever want tips hmu haha
Don't like the combat... I get that, but that's D&D. That's (almost) exactly how the table top is played. It's like me saying "yeah I really liked Demon's Souls, but I wish it was an FPS."
I feel like maybe just rethinking the approach to combat could help a lot. You really are offered an immense amount of freedom that I think newer players might not realize just how much they can take advantage of the systems. Just as an example (so potentially light early game spoilers I guess) and I'm on whatever the normal difficulty is called At the windmill where those goblins have that guy tied up, I was able to kill 3 of the enemies there from outside of combat with my rogue by first entering it with my wizard and then using hide to walk up behind the goblins and sneak attack them and then I used a ranged sneak shot from high ground to deal enough damage to make the boss there surrender to me, ending the encounter before the goblins even got an opportunity to do anything and only 2/4 members had to take part. Or even take the same idea but sneak up and place an oil barrel from your inventory behind them and then blow them up that way. You're really given so many options for how to approach every aspect of the game there's pretty much no reason you should be getting stomped in combat I don't think unless you were genuinely caught unaware in the situation but usually I feel like a quick load to a previous save you can even prepare in some way for "unexpected" fights. Like use buffs before you get into combat so you don't have to spend turns on them, or carrying around a candle to dip your weapons for free fire damage everywhere you go.
When Bless says "my character is gonna solve problems with my *mouth* and my mind" at 11:14 and Tim spikes the lens. That's working with Nick for so long.
Nick and Andy are two of my favorite KF cast, especially when together. Nick has a sense of humor that's hard to describe, but vibes with me perfectly. Maybe subversive/observe-ive? Andy is hilarious and his references surprise me as I'm a few years older than him, yet he'll bring up things that are right in my timeframe. Plus his music bits are some of the best (Burger Burger, Junior Burger.....) I'm a new KFBF so I missed KF/AF, but I'm about to start watching their old episodes cause when they're playing together, the laughs don't stop! Same with SnowBikeMike, he elevates every production he's in.
Tips for getting started on console. The controller has alot of shortcuts that make it really nice to play and less clunky on controller. Key shortcuts I found. R2 + triangle = quick save (save often) R2 + square = quick load Press up on the dpad to enter jump mode. Hold up on dpad to take out your torch. Hold down on the dpad to enter sneak mode. Press L3 to bring up the cursur while exploring. Hold R3 to see everything you can interact with and what has been looted already and see enemy vision cones. Just these things make the radial menus only necessary for attacks and healing. And removes alot of multi stage inputs like jumping.
Idk if this is the perfect impressions video for BG3 or the worst. It's perfect because these guys are casual gamers when it comes to this genre. So to hear them sing it's praises, can convince people to give BG3 a try. It's also the worst because, they are casual gamers when it comes to this genre.😂 Most people that love this genre, love everything BG3 has to offer, but when everyone on the panel says the combat essentially sucks (which can be roughly half the game depending on how you play), that's going to make most casual gamers skip this experience. I grew up playing Final Fantasy, then Elder Scrolls, for my RPG experiences. I love both of those franchises. But after I experienced the CRPG for the first time with Wasteland 2 then Divinity Original Sin 2, I realized that it is the best way to play RPG's. The freedom, choice, strategy, & leveling up your party, is so satisfying. Making your own path through the world, idk, I just get lost in these types of games. I haven't played BG3 yet because I don't have a PC, but I urge anyone that truly likes RBGs to give it a try. You won't be disappointed.
Also ! Turn base strategy combat isn’t for everyone and that is total fine. Because for the most part you can try to talk your way out. I always tell those who are new this game style . Take your time and read. Combat can be off putting for some. But the beauty is being able to take your time and think about how you will attack, how you position your team, use your environment. Turn base gives a lot of opportunities. There many things you can do in game to take advantage of the turn base combat. Even while in a conversation with an npc. You can at the bottom left a different part never to move your team around if you think a fight is about to happen. This isn’t me bashing anyone for not liking this kind of combat. Just trying to give a different view of how the combat can be really fun once you get use to it. It’s very satisfying when you plan out an attack and it goes your way.
it makes me really uneasy when they say i wish it was a hack and slash or the combat was different, it would literally ruin the game. I hope Larian never changes, the combat is not that complex, especially at the beginning it is VERY simple. The combat scenarios are a bit lengthy but thats what a good strategy game does.
I feel like the fact that they aren't into the combat only compliments the game as a while, since they are all positive on the game. They also didn't say it should change, just sharing their preferences. I want honest reviews from them, personally.
When it comes to the dialogue choices and proficiencies , if you hover over the property in brackets, a tooltip pops up telling you if your character is good at it or not.
Good on you guys for stepping out of your comfort zone. I think if you are new to the genre it takes about 20 hours before you start to turn the corner and get your sea legs with all the depth of strategy to learn. Imo yall made this video just before turning that corner where you overcome your attention span and begin to get the satisfaction that comes from really figuring this out.
Dude the combat has its perks though I've picked up and thrown enemies into other enemies, pushed them off cliffs, drench someone with water and electrocute them.
I think Greg and blessings gripes with the radial wheels would be avoided if they played on mouse and key board instead of on a controller set up on the steam deck. This game is definitely geared more towards playing on mouse and keyboard

It's always interesting hearing the KF crew's perspective on games like this. I played BG1&2 within the past three years once I built my PC. So I know exactly what I'm getting into with 3. And I played the early access build initially in 2020. That helps a ton as well. Combat will always be the biggest struggle for players here. It's heavy and deep and really expansive. Even more so than they did in Divinity. It's gonna be a blast for me. And they have the option to play more story focused as well. Being a D&D fan and being a fan of Larian just has me so hyped to see the full experience. I can't wait to see how the story plays out and how my friends and I will make each other laugh and get upset at how decisions.
Combat is awesome and Larian have done a fantastic job. Saying that, I am a lover of DnD. I understand New players will not vibe, but stick with it and maybe read up on 5th Edition DnD to help. Maybe the KF team get in a DnD player to help them with the combat.
@@siddharthshishulkar8992 Nope. You use to have to read manuals that came with games. This game can be enjoyed either way. If you want the ultimate experience then it's just a suggestion, because Larian are making a DnD game. If it's not for you then so be it. Just play games you enjoy. Games are divisive enough. People don't like Soulslike or platformers etc. This will not be for everyone. I just know it's my Game of the Year. I've been playing this since 2020 when it first came to early access, and been playing DnD for over 30yrs.
I'm glad to hear you guys liked it for the most part! I grew up playing the original two Baldur's Gate games and later discovered Larian and the Divinity games and loved those, too. Having played BG3 in early access, I can tell this is a perfect marriage of those two series, and I'm so pumped to jump into the full experiene. That said, I know these games do tend to have a steep learning curve, which may explain why you guys didn't mesh with the combat right away. But if you stick through it, it becomes incredibly satisfying.
@@FSVR54 I love me some Souls combat, but I can also appreciate more tactical and strategic combat. It's not everyone's cup of tea, just like Souls games aren't for everyone, but it can be good fun if you like thinking through your options and using the area around you to decimate enemies.
Oof, this is rough hearing the previews are played on steam deck. I’m sure it’s playable but learning the game is probably not optimal. Usually you Press T then mouse over any term to have anything explained. In the settings there’s an option to have tooltips fully displayed by default which is probably super helpful on steam deck.
I'm glad that I have a lot of experience playing d&d, so that I understood the combat system going in, cause otherwise I could definitely see myself feeling overwhelmed with that.
Baldurs Gate 3 is is wonderful with its usage of darker tones and wonderous atmosphere, while still injecting bits of humor thats actually Kinda Funny (Greg Miller)
Great preview guys. Don't write off the combat just yet. I felt the same way during my first 10-20 hours of DOS:2, but 100 hours in, I wouldn't have wanted it any other way!
I think the game is great so far! Only two hours in, but there is quite a lot that has changed since I first played it almost two years ago in early access. I feel like then it was WAAAYY more difficult combat wise and all the dice rolls were a lot less forgiving. I got pretty far into the story before I put it down back then. I only put it down because I felt like my progress wouldn't transfer over when it fully releases (which it doesn't) so I didn't want to invest more time into a dead end character, but I'm excited to get back to where I was before!
So if you hit tab you can view your inventory of all character’s but at the top you can also view your character sheet. The stat with the star on it is your main stat. I hope that made sense
During dice rolls if you have the issue of forgetting your stats, hover your cursor over the stat and it'll show you your stats that go into that dice roll.
I feel the exact same way about this game as these guys do. Love everything about the game except the combat. I’ve even tried to watch TH-cam videos on the combat and none of them have been able to tell me how to get good at it.
I usually go to other content creators for impressions on games like this and will definitely weight those opinions higher than your guys', but I appreciate the coverage and effort.
Mentioning the dice rolls is funny because every single game rolls dice for stuff it’s just behind the scenes… every chance action is a dice roll every crit in Diablo is a dice roll
Having been someone who had a similar attitude towards any kind of turn based combat system for the first 20 years of gaming, the crossover games for me were the Xcom remakes (I got into the Total War series at the same time). 10 years later, CRPGS and turn based strategy games are some my favorite and most played games. I honestly feel sorry for these 4, because they have a stigma in they're subconscious against turn based combat ( which I had as well, and it is a definite stigma and bias), which doesn't allow them to even consider this type of combat to be as fun if not more so than real time combat. I think people like this just need to get lucky and play a very high quality game in the genre that has something in the combat ( or even just the IP, the new aliens crpg is pretty good)that hooks them and makes you want to dive deeper into the systems. Admittedly, Baldurs Gate 3 is not going to be the game that sells naysayers on turn based combat, it is far to complex. I highly recommend Xcom 2, especially on PC with mods as possibly the best entry point into giving you a new perspective on turn based combat. It is a more bare bones turn based system, compared to BG3 or many crpg's out there, and it is still one of the best ever made. Once you learn the basics of turn based combat systems ( overwatch, positioning, action points etc), just like the basics of FPS or platformer games, those help you to get to grips with all games in the genre and makes them more accessible. For the record, my favorite genre is Souls like games, and those are as real time combat as it gets, so I can speak very well on the mental block these guys are suffering from.
It’s interesting that they couldn’t get 1 person who had any idea about how 5e dnd rules work -and they’ve had Matt Mercer run a dnd game for them for content.
they played that game in like 2015, been a loooong time since then. none of these dudes have much interest in fantasy settings, strategy combat, or TTRPGs unfortunately
I guess it's just the people I've associated with throughout my life, but watching all this BG3 coverage lately is making me realize that a much larger portion of gamers are *not* tactically minded than I previously thought. That's not a dig, not everyone has to enjoy strategic thinking and creative solutions in combat, I just thought it was a trait more gamers shared. I'm glad to see so many people who wouldn't usually pick up this type of game giving it a try and enjoying it though!
for folks on Xbox waiting a little longer for this, and anyone else as well, really, i highly recommend playing "Divinity: Original Sin 2 - Definitive Edition" in the meantime ;)
I think the boys are so down on combat because they have not been able to see how creative you can be. Instead of using spells to cover the enemy try and think what would happen if you use the environment with a spell that may drop water everywhere or tossing a bottle of poison. The oil barrel and than fire Andy mentioned towards the end of the video is just the surface of creativity that can be explored.
Its the idea that a lot of video games condition us to only think laterally. We only think about the most direct solution even if its not the best one. Its kind of the same with Tears of the Kingdom. Given a problem humans will find the path of least resistance. Like back in the day people would complain about how a game would have a lot of systems but not an incentive to use those systems. Why would I use this complicated combo attack when I can just hit the attack button and eventually get the same results.
@@gearhead417 I'm playing DOS2 and BoTW together and I think it useful comparison. They're games where you're meant to just try stuff and be amazed that it works.
17:25 that hurt a bit, he's so hilarious in my opinion and the end of his quest had me bawling. Then again I also did his romance and it's really sweet but I know it's nothing for cis men. At least you don't kill him on the spot, there are people who just kill him because they hate him so much and I'm like "give him a chance"😂 Honestly I was like that with Shadowheart, didn't have her in my party and never talked to her so I didn't get to witness her quest but I love her after doing her quest. Lae'zel too is really rude at first but warms up. The characters are all about development and y'all gotta have to give them time, they're all awesome in their own right.
I'm not surprised about their thoughts on combat it is very finicky. I remember when i first played divinity it took a while for it all to click. I think i had to restart the game 3 times, playing the start multiple times experimenting before i felt like i knew how everything worked. But its best to stick with it and it does get easier. It's worth noting that these impressions are after them only having played 6 or 7 hours. I reckon if you asked them at the 20 hour mark it will probably make alot more sense to them and they would probably enjoy it more. And then there is another 80 hours to go after that. Its alot to ask for people to give it that time. But its a deep and complex crpg with alot going on so it does take a bit of learning unfortunately. But it means it has alot of replayability and has so much flexibility in things you can do.
I agree. Using the controller in combat is so tedious and way too slow because you have to use your joystick to target enemies. While with the mouse you just click on them, which is faster.
It’s wild to me that while this game was only out on pc, they all still played on controller which is without a doubt the worst way to experience combat and gameplay. With the mouse you can literally just point at everything, no keyboard even needed, but having WASD to move the camera around to see is clutch as well having hot keys like press Z to jump. My gf plays on PlayStation and it’s frustrating to look at the radial wheels when I know a much simpler and accessible system exists.
I don't agree with them that the Combat isn't good. It has an enormous array of options to the point it becomes TOTK-like (as in you ask yourself "will this work?)
For anyone who likes this game, and wants more once they finish it. Play Pathfinder Wrath of the Righteous, VERY similar game, just based of the Pathfinder system (a break off of DND 3.5 edition), as opposed to DND 5e. Great story, super in depth character build customization, so on.
@dps0610 there is a toggle for both kingmaker and wotr to completely disable that feature. While yeah if I were to go back I'd turn it off for kingmaker, wotr crusade management is actually pretty good imo.
Finally. It feels like I am winning in regards to playing PC. No longer held back by exclusives. I really don't hate consoles at all but the exclusivity thing just kills games for me. I get they need to compete with each other. Just imagine a songwriter making a song that can only play through an Android or iPhone. Why? I want to just add. If Starfield has the 60fps limit because of the physics... You will know I am angry.
Seriously! They got to level 2 and stoped. acting like leveling up doesn’t matter is crazy. Just glossing over you could have immediately multiclassed witch is why the level up screen is there
Just ignore the dumbasses guys! Good on you for stepping out of your comfort zone. I dont see why the jackasses are hating, you guys were super positive on the game, but some people just arent happy unless they are being a dick.

Yeah these dudes just kinda played the intro and then were like (Well I gotta think in combat so the combat system sucks).
I'm surprised that the guys who love pokemon and persona don't enjoy the BG3 combat, when it's theoretically the same but with so much more depth
Just as an example (so potentially light early game spoilers I guess) and I'm on whatever the normal difficulty is called
At the windmill where those goblins have that guy tied up, I was able to kill 3 of the enemies there from outside of combat with my rogue by first entering it with my wizard and then using hide to walk up behind the goblins and sneak attack them and then I used a ranged sneak shot from high ground to deal enough damage to make the boss there surrender to me, ending the encounter before the goblins even got an opportunity to do anything and only 2/4 members had to take part.
Plus his music bits are some of the best (Burger Burger, Junior Burger.....)
I'm a new KFBF so I missed KF/AF, but I'm about to start watching their old episodes cause when they're playing together, the laughs don't stop! Same with SnowBikeMike, he elevates every production he's in.
Tips for getting started on console.
The controller has alot of shortcuts that make it really nice to play and less clunky on controller.
Key shortcuts I found.
R2 + triangle = quick save (save often)
R2 + square = quick load
Press up on the dpad to enter jump mode.
@Blessing, when you put the cursor over the [Persuasion], [Intimidation[, etc options, you can see the bonus from your stats and background/class.
4:18 that sounds like the Slack message sound. It made me flinch and then start checking my inbox.
Same, haha, I was oh boy, back to work!
BG3 is that full circle type game. they brought back what bioware had going and made it twice as big and twice as good
Love the Slack going off in the background and having me checking my messages to make sure I’m not going crazy lol. Great preview as always guys!
Man, can’t help but feel Bless and Greg are hindered by playing on steam deck or waiting on ps5. Combat is so much easier and makes more sense on PC.
I was not expecting a BG3 video! Y'all have been KILLING it recently, honestly. Some of the best KF content in years, in my opinion.
it makes me really uneasy when they say i wish it was a hack and slash or the combat was different, it would literally ruin the game.
Mortismal Gaming who does a lot of BG3 and CRPG stuff had a full play through review go live with release so flowers need sending over there 👏
Good on you guys for stepping out of your comfort zone. I think if you are new to the genre it takes about 20 hours before you start to turn the corner and get your sea legs with all the depth of strategy to learn. Imo yall made this video just before turning that corner where you overcome your attention span and begin to get the satisfaction that comes from really figuring this out.
Andy got to a part where he was gonna save his progress, and then they lost all their progress up to that save point.
Looking forward to playing this towards the end of the year on PS5
I love that Andy said they were live right now on Twitch but weren't XD
Probably both sleeping.
Lol, it's still 8 am there! I checked the twitch too haha
yea im bad at times lmao
To say the combat isn't competent is lunacy to me
Dude the combat has its perks though I've picked up and thrown enemies into other enemies, pushed them off cliffs, drench someone with water and electrocute them.
I think Greg and blessings gripes with the radial wheels would be avoided if they played on mouse and key board instead of on a controller set up on the steam deck. This game is definitely geared more towards playing on mouse and keyboard
The controller has alot of shortcuts that make it really nice to play and less clunky on controller.

This will be the only game I’ll be playing for a LONG time!!
4:19 slack notification jump scare
Combat is awesome and Larian have done a fantastic job. Saying that, I am a lover of DnD. I understand New players will not vibe, but stick with it and maybe read up on 5th Edition DnD to help. Maybe the KF team get in a DnD player to help them with the combat.
It's weird you have to read a rulebook to enjoy the game
@@siddharthshishulkar8992 That isnt what they said at all.
Recently got into Fire Emblem, played the Mass Effect franchise for the first time after the remaster so I am hyped for a melding of both!
YES
I'm glad to hear you guys liked it for the most part! I grew up playing the original two Baldur's Gate games and later discovered Larian and the Divinity games and loved those, too. Having played BG3 in early access, I can tell this is a perfect marriage of those two series, and I'm so pumped to jump into the full experiene.
That said, I know these games do tend to have a steep learning curve, which may explain why you guys didn't mesh with the combat right away. But if you stick through it, it becomes incredibly satisfying.
Combat is good when it's fast and twitchy ala Sekiro and Armored Core
@@FSVR54 I love me some Souls combat, but I can also appreciate more tactical and strategic combat. It's not everyone's cup of tea, just like Souls games aren't for everyone, but it can be good fun if you like thinking through your options and using the area around you to decimate enemies.
@@jacobroundy2055 hopefully it's better than DOS2. Those battles were way too slow and punishing
Loved playing this game in early access and Larian is an amazing developer. So glad you guys covered this one and hope y’all put more time in it
Great preview guys. Don't write off the combat just yet. I felt the same way during my first 10-20 hours of DOS:2, but 100 hours in, I wouldn't have wanted it any other way!
For the first 10 😭😭
The slack notifications were pushing me into fight or flight mode.
I only put it down because I felt like my progress wouldn't transfer over when it fully releases (which it doesn't) so I didn't want to invest more time into a dead end character, but I'm excited to get back to where I was before!
slack sounds are fucking with me so hard at work
So if you hit tab you can view your inventory of all character’s but at the top you can also view your character sheet. The stat with the star on it is your main stat. I hope that made sense
During dice rolls if you have the issue of forgetting your stats, hover your cursor over the stat and it'll show you your stats that go into that dice roll.
I appreciate the power outage avoiding the smallest of spoilers: "so I did this in the part where [redacted]" "and the kid-- [redacted]" 🤣🤣
what Ive learned from this video is dont play dnd tabletop with Greg, he will get your whole party killed 😂
Wtf lol
Mentioning the dice rolls is funny because every single game rolls dice for stuff it’s just behind the scenes… every chance action is a dice roll every crit in Diablo is a dice roll
Yeah but having that been hidden or explicit really does change the experience
Yeah I would rather not see it everytime because it is very immersion breaking
@@raypalmer5125 When you are used to TTRPGs then seeing the dice rolls makes the game even more immersive.
Man, Andy is not the guy for a DnD game.
I completely understand the concerns y’all have. But as someone who loves DnD all of the issues are huge huge huge pluses for me 😂
11:08 - the look to camera from Tim, he knows what's up 😂
I guess it's just the people I've associated with throughout my life, but watching all this BG3 coverage lately is making me realize that a much larger portion of gamers are *not* tactically minded than I previously thought. That's not a dig, not everyone has to enjoy strategic thinking and creative solutions in combat, I just thought it was a trait more gamers shared. I'm glad to see so many people who wouldn't usually pick up this type of game giving it a try and enjoying it though!
Watching this while working has me looking at my slack all the time xD
for folks on Xbox waiting a little longer for this, and anyone else as well, really, i highly recommend playing "Divinity: Original Sin 2 - Definitive Edition" in the meantime ;)
Most of your guys' complaints I haven't experience, but I'm playing on mouse and keyboard.
I challenge Greg to make a Barbarian start throwing people around the room.
Greg: “I accidentally steal something….” 😂
Watching this now and hearing “can this be playstation’s starfield” is SO FUNNY 😂
This is KFG Vol. 2, Episode 190 (Episode 442 overall)
Maddog killing it like always.
Doin' the Lord's work, Sir!! 😝
I'm honestly just hyped to hear Bless played Blades in the Dark. Such a sick ttrpg!
How to get good at it? Take higher ground and push people. Shove is a tactic that can turn the tide.
They dont like it because it's too complicated. This game is chess but they like playing checkers.
The mind flayers are a staple D&D enemy btw
Want a manual that explains the rules in depth? D&D 5th edition Player’s Handbook is as close as you’ll get XD
Thank you for this episode dedicated to Baldur's Gate 3!
I'm actually really interested to see what the guys think of the game when they've got deeper into it if they do keep playing.
I wish my pc was good enough to play this now (it’s like a decade old) but I will be playing on PS5 next month for sure
11:14 please make a short of it, it will surely get traction and pull in new KF friends!
"how do we get good with conbat???" STOP PLAYING ON CONTROLLER.
I agree. Using the controller in combat is so tedious and way too slow because you have to use your joystick to target enemies. While with the mouse you just click on them, which is faster.
PLAYING ON STEAMDECK PLAYING IT EVERYWHERE I GO AND CAUGHT YOUR CRAZY LIVE STREAM 😂😂😂
Welcome to D & D Kinda Funny.
Dragon born looks 🔥
I don't agree with them that the Combat isn't good. It has an enormous array of options to the point it becomes TOTK-like (as in you ask yourself "will this work?)
For anyone who likes this game, and wants more once they finish it. Play Pathfinder Wrath of the Righteous, VERY similar game, just based of the Pathfinder system (a break off of DND 3.5 edition), as opposed to DND 5e. Great story, super in depth character build customization, so on.
Only thing I dislike about the Pathfinder games is the time based/kingdom management stuff.
@dps0610 there is a toggle for both kingmaker and wotr to completely disable that feature. While yeah if I were to go back I'd turn it off for kingmaker, wotr crusade management is actually pretty good imo.
@@Slanbag 🤯 holy shit! Definitely going back to it then.
Guys this is Dnd max level in the game is 12 so each level is important
Yea, I think I need to try this game out.
y'all need to play it in coop on playstation/xbox for sure
You have to know your class strengths (attribute bonus) before you click on dialogue options willy-nilly. If you're a Barb you're probably not going to be great at an intelligence or charisma check. 😅
Looking forward to playing this!
