I tried to see if I could get a brand deal with a company and had replies from them but they haven’t replied again. I tend to get really down when I don’t receive a reply or anything because it makes me feel like I did something wrong but maybe I’m just not being persistent enough? That being said it’s really hard for me to put a price on my work even though I know in terms of editing I do a pretty good job, I’m just missing having more content.
Perseverance really is the key. You simply cannot take a lack of replies as a personal commentary on you or your abilities. Brands are busy and the onus is on you to be the squeaky wheel!
I'm hesitant to pitch because of my phone quality 😭 I make quality videos but I feel no one would want to work with me because I don't have the best camera quality JUST YET
haha love the motivation talk at the end, I felt like I definitely needed to hear that, but at the same time, are you ever "too small" to pitch? from your experince is there a minimum amount of content or followers you need to have out before you pitch brands for them to take you seriously?
