    Great examples. My number 1 rule is to never forget the power that you get by walking away. I had a brand reach out to me in January of last year that wanted to do gifted product + affiliate link and after some very early negotiation, I walked away. It took 8 months (!) but they eventually came back out of the blue with budget and they paid full rate. Also worth noting that it's a privilege to do that - a lot of people take the quick cheap deals because they have to. That's also obvious in the last example - if you are taking $30k brand deals, you probably aren't struggling to pay your mortgage, so it's much easier to walk away and play hard ball. Getting your personal financial situation to a place where you can walk away gives you a massive advantage.

    Great video... (just one suggestion, better audio for the wizard.) Watched this after your latest video and amazing... $27k for a 2 million sub creator... or $100k for a tiktoker who averages 20k views. This also reinforces you... IF the the brand wants you... you can push it... but if you are replaceable... they will drop you at any point.

    Amazing video, I’ve learned a ton and loved it being entertaining as well! I could never have imagined how far the last creator could push the budget and was sweating. Would love to see more of these kind of videos🤝

    Phenomenal video, I’m binge watching everything on your channel and learning a lot. I recently declined a brand deal because I wasn’t ready yet but told them in the future I’d love to work with them. Do I need to email them now for any reason or just wait until I am ready to accept the deal?

    • @CreatorWizard
      @CreatorWizard  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Appreciate you!! Why do you feel you're not ready for the deal generally?

      @@CreatorWizard I Just started TH-cam about a 1 year and 4 months ago so I’m still learning a lot. I wanted to develop my skills more, get organized, and have more of an idea of who my audience is, value proposition, etc. Since I wasn’t super clear on that yet. Also, brand deals is new to me (it would be my first one). I wanted to get more knowledge on them and the process.

    One question here in the last example, if the creator was really targeting $55,000, is it generally better to provide a $55,000 package or to provide that same package but list the price at $75,000 knowing the brand will negotiate down anyway?

    • @CreatorWizard
      @CreatorWizard  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Always always always provide multiple packages including packages BEYOND their stated budget to help with price anchoring. It's a bit more detailed than that but that's the general principle.

    I really appreciated this video! I feel like I learned how I should respond should a situation like this ever come up for me... I did have a hard time getting through the first half of the video though. It felt like the noise and energy was dialed up high and stayed there. It was really nice during the 55000 deal story though and I'm so glad I stuck around for it as well! Thanks for your content as always Justin :)

    Info was great but the skit format got a little annoying. We’re professionals, the comedy was alright but the second or third time through it was a little much 😅
    As for the content, I loved the actual format of going over real conversations and suggesting improvements. Thanks for that!
