He has worked with almost all the big names in the industry. R. D. Burman, Rajesh Roshan, Jatin-Lalit, A. R. Rahman, Ilaiyaraaja, Nadeem-Shravan, O. P. Nayyar, Laxmikanth Pyarelal to name a few. A decisive part of some of the unfading songs like Dekha Hai Pehli Baar from the movie Saajan (1991), Hawa Hawaii from Mr. India (1987), Kate Nahi Katate from Mr. India (1987), Waada Karo Nahin Chhodogi from Aa Gale Lag Ja (1973), Ye Shaam Mastani from Kati Patang 1970 and many many more.
