Do you wonder how people in the older societies and in particular, during the medieval times, could clean themselve (personal hygiene, brushing teeth and ...) and take shower?
During medieval times, people had various ways to keep themselves clean. Here are some examples:
Bathhouses: Public bathhouses, like the #Vakil #Bathhouse (Vakil #hammam) in Shiraz, were popular places where people could go to bathe, relax, and socialize. These bathhouses often had separate areas for men and women, and visitors could take a dip in hot or cold water, get a massage, or enjoy other spa treatments.
Rivers and streams, Private baths, Wash basins and Dry cleaning are other ways that people take shower to keep themselves clean.
Overall, while the methods of hygiene and cleanliness during medieval times were not as advanced as they are today, people still found ways to keep themselves clean and fresh.
