No matter how kooky or weird this show got, it’s still iconic
It's iconic BECAUSE it's kooky and weird.
In a time when everything has to be pure, wholesome, "good rep", and without problems, Riverdale was messy. It was full of people making the wrong decisions.
In contrast to shows where there's no real internal tensions or intensive character flaws, the teens of Riverdale are just...more interesting. It's never a boring day in Riverdale.
We're losing something in a week. Something intensively UNLIKE every other show.
It ended for me after the last seasons first 3 episodes

Oh we have arrived to the series finale. I’ve been watching this show since the very beginning when I was a freshman in high school, and now I’ve officially graduated from college as we approach the last episode. I will always and forever love my little coo-coo bananas show. The main reason I stuck around was due to the cast members. They’re such a great group of people and their family dynamic over the years made me want to keep watching. I will miss these characters so much. Thank you for the last seven years, Riverdale. You’ve been a great source of entertainment for me. I’m so proud of the cast and I’m so ready to see how the series concludes next week. I’m also looking forward to what the cast does next in their careers because they’re very talented people and they deserve nothing but the best 🥰❤️ (excuse me while I go cry I don’t care what anybody says. Whoever makes you feel bad about liking something is generally a terrible person, so yeah Riverdale is a big comfort show of mine. As I’m sure it is to many out there. We’ve been through so much with our show, Riverdalians. Let’s say goodbye to our beloveds next week 🥺🫂)
And I wish they could have brought Jordan Calloway back into Riverdale as Chuck Clayton that would have been great see him again. I miss that guy.

This is not going to be a esay goodbye this is going to be hard one for all of us. Riverdale was the best we all loved it and we wish it could keep going because we believe there is so much more it can do. But it's time to say goodbye and we just can't believe it.
I remember watching it all in 2017 from noticing Josie and the pussycats appearance, shipping Choni, hearing about Luke Perry’s tragic passing, and everything else that’s been going with every stars’ dating life. I was in high school when it happened and now I’m 21. Lord, I’m gonna miss this crazy-a** show. Thanks for the memories, Riverdale

I just wish Cheryl middle school girlfriend Heather had stayed until the Riverdale series was over. It's too bad she didn't I really like her she was special and exciting.

While i am a tiny bit disappointed they couldn't go back to 2023, i am relieved that they were at least able to get their memories back. I have been watching this show since 2017. And i am gonna miss this crazy ass masterpiece😢! Thank you KJ, Lili, Camila, Cole, Madeleine, and everyone else from the Riverdale cast and crew for bringing us this show into our lives! I started watching this back in 2017 when i completed my high school and was starting my college life......my teenager memories lies with this show... I'm totally full of emotion right now..... imagine 10 yrs later, how this show will brings our memories back....

Damn... I remember how the first season actually really fascinated me till the end. Then the show (at least for me) wasn't that much interesting on the next season's but I still watched every single episode. Thank you Riverdale, it was a nice run after all.
im not gonna lie, episode 7x19 was emotional . sad they can't go back... but in the end it was a happy ending ....you could see that the emotions from the actors were real .... they found love... broke up... and became friends .

You know it’s a shame. I really wanted them to go back to their original timeline because the 50s is really not my type of era really guys who’s with me that they should’ve gone back to the timeline. The angel didn’t do much work.

The whole idea for season 7 was justified in tonight's episode. They were sent to the 50s because that was a time people were not as open minded as today and Archie and the gang save Riverdale from the issues of that time. Just the way they saved the town during the whole show run. And now they each one of them is having their separate ways.

This really does feel like the end of an era for me... with all of the craziness of this show... I really am going to miss tuning in... I grew up on the comics... I got my first archie comic when my mom and I had to move out when her and my dad split... someone gave me a comic to read and I just was grabbed... it was there for me in a time when I really needed it... and I still collect and read them to this day...so seeing my childhood friends on TV... my best friend Betty... fully realised... I can't lie and say I won't cry in this finale❤

What a ride 7 seasons….
I'm going to miss watching Riverdale. There were many crazy adventures in 7 years, despite having taken a crazy and supernatural path, it was the most insane and daring series of recent times because it knew how to be versatile in literally all existing genres and that was what made it unique.
So sad the show is ending. I remember starting this show when it first came out in high school. It’s such a great show and I’m glad it went on for this many seasons.
I remember I stated this show in 2017..and I just now stated to not like it but I’m glad I got to keep its memory on for this very day. Love ya RVD 🫶🏻

I feel you! I started watching this show in 2021 after my breakup and my father's death when my health was severely impacted due to high blood sugar. I started watching this show as a distraction from the harsh reality, it was my safe place. I fell in love with the town and its characters, especially Jughead and Betty. I sort of watched the show only for Bughead and while I continued watching even after they fell apart, I was disappointed. I hope the last episode gives some closure to them. I would probably rewatch the episodes for many more years to come! If you could suggest me any other shows like this, I'd love to watch.

And Betty and maybe the other's are going too go to this mystery friend and ask her or him if they can see themselves when they were seniors in high school again because they wanted too remember everything that they went threw together from season 1. Sabrina Spellman was not the special friend Jughead Jones was. And it was the Jughead who was the narrator of Riverdale he brought Betty back into the past so she could be young again and relive her Senior year in high school. And it was a true heart ♥ to heart ♥ one 1⃣ in the end. For everyone.

I don't care what people say about this show. But I loved it, it was weird, unserious and at times super messed up and kooky but hey I stayed with it from season 1 all the way to season 7 and it's been a joyous ride!
I know in 10 years time Riverdale will finally be appreciated for what it is.. the crazy, whacky storylines, the campness yet serious undertones. The complexed, and MESSY characters... Were there shortcomings with the writing and consistency just like didn't exist... sure. But my good god the cast poured their heart out into this show and i just hope they have long, successful careers. They are all brilliant, and talented young people who have only just scratched the surface in the entertainment industry, and only showed the world a glimpse of what they are capable of. They are the reason this show had 7 seasons. People have made this show a running joke, smearing its name and making it a laughing stock. I was one of them... until i learnt to just enjoy TV.. that not everything needs to be hyper-realistic, angsty and reflect everything in real life. I fear are slowly losing the ability to enjoy unserious and goofy shit these days... Riverdale held its own, and it will be long remembered that's for sure. I will sit in my corner, just waiting for people to realise that the toxic cancel train the internet parades on, was in fact wrong about this show. That it was actually some fun entertainment that they let themselves miss out on because they believed what everyone said, those who never gave the show a chance to change and adapt into its own quirky phenomenon. I just wish this season had happened earlier, because damn the 50s suit Riverdale so very much!
