I feel like at some point the authors just started looking up riverdale fan ficitons and tried to figure out how they could fit every single one of them into the series
I doubt anybody who wrote a fan faction was this brain dead to write whatever Riverdale put on the show lmao or maybe they wrote good fan fictions and Riverdale’s writers just ruined it

Cus in the comics it explains well that Sabrina is part of the universe and there are so many diverse comics in the Riverdale world that leads up to them going back in time cus Riverdale comics where made in the late 1940's so it makes sense that they all died in the early 2000's the OG creator who made the comics is dead so they made it up to his expectations

I fell in love with Riverdale in season 1-2 but I also really liked season 3-4. All I can say is that from 5-7 the show just never felt the same and even If I watched it I missed "my" Riverdale and why I fell in love with the show. It was just too much and all over the place in genre and story wise and sometimes just weird, and thats coming from someone who thought 3-4 was fine still!! Im so sad it did end like this because it could have been so much better. It had potential. But with that said, It will still have a special place in my heart.

21:36 it's obviously not funny but that was a crazy transition from the crazy Cheryl plotline to the realistic harm of drug and alcohol abuse in Jughead's plot
Even tho Riverdale went haywire, it still felt kindof comforting and sad to see them say goodbye to eachother and reminisce over the old riverdale and the years we spent watching them coming to a end, it made me cry and i dont cry

Genuine answer: They started to lean really hard into the actual Archie comics for content, not realizing that the reason why a lot of adaptation take liberties in what they adapt, is because sometimes it doesn't translate well into live-action. No joke, the whole alternate realities thing, is ripped straight from the comics, but it works there cause well, its a comic, logic goes out the window there.
This recap was supposed to be almost an hour long but I respect the man who made this since he skipped all the batshit crazy details 😂 and trust me he did us a favor 😅
