  • Should I keep or yeet this new Bambu Lab A1 Combo? I'm going to unbox the printer, go over the initial setup and then take a look at some of the features. Join me to find out if this should be your next (or first) printer! I'll give you my honest thoughts on this printer in this non-sponsored look.

I have two Bambu P1S printers and picked this up for my boys for christmas, The speed and print quality is basically identical to what i get from the P1S. I absolutely love this machine!

I've had my A1 Combo for a few weeks now and I've put a lot of filament through it in that time. It sits next to my P1S/AMS and kitty corner to my Kobra 2 Max and QIDI X-Max 3, soon to be replaced by a K1 Max. The A1, in my opinion, is the finest and most-advanced printer on the consumer market available today. It is certainly the most bang for the buck. For half the cost of the P1S+AMS, it has 90% of the performance and feels noticeably more polished than it's older brother.

Great review!! I have watched reviews about the Bambu Lab A1 by about a dozen other reviewers. There are topics you brought up that the others never even mentioned. Count me as a subscriber.

I have seen so many uses for the AMS! I thought I wouldn't personally want it because I had a printer that printed two colors, but Bambu's software makes it so easy to add color and the quality is amazing. I can't wait to order a Bambu printer, I really want a P1S with AMS and the A1!

I received my A1 a matter of days ago. I love it. The quality of prints is incredible and it's an absolute speed demon of a printer. It was totally worth the $400 I spent on it! I may purchase the AMS at a later date.

Great video! Mine arrives this week. Can't wait. I gave up tinkering with my ender 3... 4 years ago

The AMS is so useful for using up the end of the reel of filament, just put you next roll on the AMS as well and tell the system. It will then carry on with the new reel when the first is finished. Be careful to check at print time that the first reel to be used its the one with the small amount of filament on it. Also if you use colour carefully in layers, you get very little poop for a muti-colour print.

Great review. Just finished putting my A1 together the other night and this really helped with the calibration. Just a note, when I was doing my calibration, the print head was stuck on the purge wiper. I had to remove the purge wiper and move the print head over and reattach it. The calibration completed fine after that.

Why the captions at the bottom of the screen? It’s distracting.
