Hi! I went to Morocco and ate Msemen there. I made this recipe many times (especially during Ramadan) and it is always delicious like the one in Morocco. I recommend this recipe 100%.
My favorite breakfast!! Yesterday I had to clarify to someone that msemen is not actually "bread" in the typical sense, but a delicious pastry that is enjoyed in Moroccan cuisine. While i understand the confusion(people who are used to Indian Naan bread) Msemen is not "bread" in the traditional Moroccan sense, & as this video perfectly shows too, its made from a different dough. This Moroccan pancake is typically enjoyed as a snack or breakfast item rather than used as a staple for sandwiches or meals. It has a distinct texture and flavor that sets it apart from traditional Moroccan bread. Excellent content❤
Thank you so much for this easy to follow video! I was worried that it wouldn’t come out good because I had to use my hands but they came out amazing for my first time!
Thank you so much for sharing. 😃I am trying to make this pancake with sourdough starter. Cannot wait to taste tomorrow. God bless you. Jesus loves you. ❤️❤️❤️
Salam aleikum Ljubna, Ramadan Kareem :) I've done msemmen according to your recipe and they turned out very nice, thank you for your detailed explanation
