The smoke mixes with the exhaust from the Gopher X and just tells you where the tunnels run. There’s nothing poisonous about the smoke the keeps on killing. The exhaust just asphyxiates the gophers in the tunnel system.

We used to park our truck as near a hole as possible and run a flex hose from the exhaust pipe to the hole. We let the truck idle for several hours and would put a few drops of motor oil into the carburetor for smoke every 15 minutes or so. A couple of hours and no more gophers. I don't see any reason that a lawnmower wouldn't work also.
How long do you need to keep gassing the hole? I put road flares down there with a leaf blower..

Mole & Voles Holes , Stick A Road Flare Down In Hole. Use Leaf Blower To Blow In Holes !

Use a road flare...the sulfer smoke kills them
@@stag3t-muspsa910 how many flares?? I put one down the hole and the leaf blower worked well but wondering how many times I should do it.
I put Road flairs in mole holes and tunnels and does not seem to bother them in the least.
