Even with the video being 2 years old, I took great satisfaction in the sound of the trap going off while you were setting the one for the video. I would 100% do this if I didn't have my 4 year old daughter driving her power wheels all over the property. What I've been using with great success are gopher hawk traps. 105 gophers in the last month using 16 traps for the other gopher haters out there reading this! We keep a tally sheet on our fridge. I'm coming up with all sorts of Mole eliminating devices from ones similar to this one, spring loaded spikes of death, piano wire suicide snares to the Mole Electric Avenue BBQ Assassin trap.

I can usually get them with poison pellets but not this time. No rain here in Texas and the ground is so hard that I can’t find their run with my probe. I’ve got a generator on a travel van and I am going to try to gas them.
Yes they are frustrating and my son and I had a ton of fun with the cannon method. We gave up the land life for the next few years and have headed out to the seas on our sailboat. Hope to see you there. SV Marly is my other channel. @@JohnDavis-yz9nq
I made one of these, and I had to run the wires over the top of the canon because the little bastards plugged all the wires in front of the canon with dirt and it didn’t go off

I made one of these and I’m 0 for 5. Gophers keep pushing it full of dirt without setting it off. I know it works cause I tested it. Any suggestions?
