That was a major mistake. At least he transfered the cake with only a little damage. His cake had a definite lean visible.
@@drmayeda1930 It was a mistake, but I appreciate everyone in the room for rooting for him and celebrating his success. Most people in a competition would just leave the mistake makers behind and move on, so this is exceptionally wholesome. Also, it's clear that moving a cake like that never works out well, so Michael's degree of success is amazing.

I love how Kaegan stood there happy for his fellow cooks, especially when he knew he had a good chance of going home even before the tasting.
kaegan went from being the most hated homecook to being one of the most loved in the competition. it's sad when competitiveness gets interpreted as arrogance. he's a great cook, he really grew and i think that's why they gave him another chance (which he deserved)

I don't think any of these people have spent a lot of time baking cakes. The sides look weird, but generally the top of the cakes look nice
Yeah it's definitely the time constraint. Normally you alot more time especially for the cooling off the cake. If you look at the frosting of the cakes they're not adhering well due to the cake still being hot. In turn the cakes don't look aesthetically appealing as you see all the bald patches on the cake that make the application of frosting look very uneven on the sides.
