    I bought two sets of these KYB AGXs, and all 4 of them would compress just like you show and would NOT expand. The settings didn't matter, all the same. After the first set, I thought they were bad, but the second set did the same. So I went to the regular KYBs you show and am pretty happy with them.

    interesting experience, thanks for sharing the video!
    the 'gas a just' shocks add to the spring rate of the vehicles existing springs, helping prevent bottoming when the car is heavily loaded. I can't comment on why you felt the agx were still too soft upon driving them. unless you design shocks for a living i don't think the average person can tell anything about a shock by pushing it into the ground, the proof is in driving it.

    I just bought them for my 94 cobra still didn’t install them though. You’re the first one to say something negative about them I checked out the review and it’s 4.7 out of 5. I’ll see how it goes thanks anyways 👍🏽

      That's fine, In my car, they just didn't work out well. It would bottom out far more often with AGX then the standard KYBs my car is also at stock ride height I assume the mustang and camaros have similar enough ride heights so bottoming out might be a problem.

      Tristen Eapen ya my cobra is lowered too will see how that works out 😂. Currently it’s at the mechanic shop getting the rear main seal and oil pan gasket replaced so hopefully I get it back by the weekend so I can install those struts and shocks

    don't blame the shocks. The springs are weak or you have too much load. If you don't want them to bottom out get shocks with a shorter stem. And the Mercedes is probably stiffer because its a heavier vehicle

      The standard KYB are on the car it doesn't bottom out. The Adjustable ones allow the car to bottom out more.

      @@dappa211 yeah they are both for my Camaro they both fit in so I assume they are the same length just one shock dampens less than the other.

    Wow // what about shock for the same application // just because you say they are both rear shocks // took u a second for the word dampening ("what ever that does") but u got one thing right // the AGX shocks are RED // I have used KYB products for over 35 years// they are high quality// great performance off-road or street use
    // Yamaha forks motocross bikes kayaba // KYB

    I'm thinking about getting 90/10s in the front for a drag/street setup so the front end comes up easy are the adjustable shocks on the softest setting about as good as 90/10s would u say?

    • @buffaloaf8205
      @buffaloaf8205  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I would just get non adjustable they are gonna be more expensive than what you want. And in my opinion probably won't get you the results your looking for. But I also have no experience with what you are looking for but that's just my two cents.
