Woodturning a walnut Rimmed Bowl

- I recently made a bowl similar to this bowl. However it had epoxy all the way to the rim. So on this bowl I wanted a wood rim. I added a flat piece of walnut to become the rim. There was a little epoxy showing on the rim, but I think it adds to the unique look of this bowl. I just had a 3 day arts and crafts show where I was able to highlight these 2 pieces in this event. I couldn’t believe how many people stopped to look at these bowls. I actually sold them the first day. But I was able to hang on to them until the end of the event. And all through the show these Pieces drew a lot of attention to my table.

Very Nice. I love colors and contrast.
Thank you David. I just had an arts and crafts show for Mother’s Day. Guess what got the most attention.
Nicely done. Love the color with the walnut.
Thank you. Appreciate your watching and comments.
Darren turned out pretty cool and the colour are smashing to, well done.
Thank you Alan. It received a lot of attention at the Mother’s Day arts and craft show this weekend.
Beautiful bowl!!
Thank you Lori, appreciate your comment
Well done mate, the blue surprisingly really pops with the walnut, I would have gone with red epoxy myself, but I doubt that would have looked as good.
Anyway Dazza, I mentioned Mango Wood to you a while ago. Have you looked into that yet?
One job, Dazza, one job. 😄😄😄
Mango will be very difficult for me to find in my area. But always keeping my eye out for some. Thanks for watching my videos
Great job Darren. That must be a heck of a mess to clean up afterwards, It’s raining dried epoxy
Oh yes it is. It looks like a ticker tape parade on Wall Street.
Gorgeous piece.
Thank you Ramwoods. You give me hope. The comment just prior to your was not happy.
