Thank you so much for the video! Almost every amp sim video I see is teaching how to get the heaviest possible metal guitar tone... lol This is just what I was looking for. I think I'll use this suite for my recordings. It's so confusing to have so many options... here's an amazing one! Thanks!!

So glad to find a non-metal demo of how this could work for more classic rock tones. Have you tried their new Fortin Cali plugin? I was curious if that one could be adjusted similarly and be even more versatile for my purposes since I don't have much use for any of the really high gain stuff. Having a tough time deciding.

I learned a lot from this! From limited playing around with the plugin I couldn't really dial in a vintage-esque rock tone. Crazy how much turning down the input and a little EQ does. Thanks!

Excellent job. Glad to see you demo this. Lots of fantastic metal demos of the Nameless, but seeing your video here and Warren Huart's show off more of the range.
Plus, you and Warren have phenomenal overall audio quality so it shows just how great the plugin can be made to sound.

This is one of the few plugins that I really like playing through. It's got a certain edge and tone, so it's not right for everything though. But, it's close enough that if I'm gonna write something at home, at 10pm when my family is asleep, I'll sit with headphones and work something up on my laptop. Then re-amp when I get to the studio. The Kemper can do this kind of sound too, but it's significally more expensive. Real amps don't have the same directness and cut, but they have depth and warmth and dimension that still... digital hasn't captured. But, I can't play my 100w Friedman at home in the evening, while my wife is watching TV. :)

Having both Kemper and AxeFxIII since september I can tell than AxeIII is not even close to real amp feel as Kemper can offer. Unfortunately Kemper effects ares not as good as AxeIII...
So before Kemper II comes, I’ll keep both. But Kemper is better then this plugin.... and AxeIII way less convincing than Nameless or Mercurial ones...

Total noob when it comes to plugins and all that stuff. Would you say this Fortin Nameless is comparable in quality to a Kemper/Axe? It's sounds awesome in your demo for sure.
Also If I wanted to play it in my bedroom, I guess I'll have to buy a couple of monitors and an audio interface, right? I just searched the Apollo Twin Quad and is really expensive. With that kind of money you can almost buy a Kemper instead.

      Hello
Friend you do not need to invest thousands of dollars to have a high gain tone, you can achieve it with very little investment and sound professional, with a simple focusrite Scarlett 2i4 or similar a guitar equipped with Emg 81 and much knowledge in mix would achieve an excellent result .
If you want I can collaborate at a very good price and I would give you 90% similar tone of your favorite group, I have been for more than 3 years, perfecting the technique of replicating guitar tones, I would offer you superior sound to Kemper and ax fx with only plugins on your pc.

Hi bro, thanks for the interest
Yes sure, I am a music producer and I have been perfecting the technique of replicating high gain tones for more than 4 years and today, I can have the tone I want with greater precision than Kemper and Axe Fx to only 10% or less of what those products cost.
It is not the plugin or "Algorithms" what I can tell you is that these companies have seen the foolish face of most guitarists and how they charged 2000 usd and the morons pay them without objection, because that's how ridiculous prices were created the present day.
You must think about something and it is: if when fractal brought the Axe ultra to the market they said that it was the last thing and that they sounded 100% accurate to any amplifier and effects, and today it is an obsolete product, Axe Fx lll came out and so the Axe lV etc.
With the same old lie "NOW IF WE HAVE THE MOST ADVANCED ALGORITHMS And SOUND LIKE A VALVE AMPLIFIER" that is the strategy to charge 3 times more than what those gear pieces really cost.

    • @MrHardrocker98
      @MrHardrocker98 5 ปีที่แล้ว

@@butcher_0392 I respect your point of view. However, I have heard both the Kemper and the Axe if dialed in correctly, to produce amazing sounds. There are some plugins out there that can get kinda close to this but surely not surpass it. So if you think you can get better sound with just plugins, I would appreciate if you show an example audio clip.

I understand what you want to say, I know exactly what someone who listens for the first time thinks a comparison of a Peavey 6505 for example with his profile is so similar that it gives the feeling that it is something revolutionary and perfect
sounds good? Of course, is it perfect as the fanboys of kemper say? No, it sounds 60% to the original, you can easily listen to the differences, the low end in the Kemper is terrible totally different from the original amp, the mids and treble very different from the original, what happens is that for someone who you want an immediate result without doing anything and simply PLUG and play is ideal. If it costs 500 USD it would be the right price and within the reach of all the musicians not something exclusive for millionaires who spend 20k usd on gear.
You can appreciate everything I say in this video
      th-cam.com/video/Ma9PE9IflYY/w-d-xo.html
Although there says Jake Pitts that it is pretty damn close, because of the sound similarity, you will see that what I tell you about the low end, mids and treble problem is there in the profile of kemper
Of course I can give you a clip of a tone that I have taken the same as the original, give me your mail and these days I send the clip so you can listen to it.

If you really want to hear how brutal this sounds install a Seymour Duncan SLUG pickup. No offense, you do a great job in these videos, but that's the thinnest sound I have ever heard, from anything made by Fortin. You did NOT do this justice at all. No pun intended! lol When you're gonna demo something as brutal as a Fortin plug-in, or head, please use applicable stuff to go with it. Like an 8 string with passive pickups, a 7 string maybe? Keep up the good work though. I'm binging your videos today. Very informative stuff!!!

Hi Richard, thanks for the feedback. I had a 7 string once. Couldn't figure out what to do with it. ha! Honestly, I figured that if you want to hear the Fortin plugin do brutal, you can easily find that 1000 other places online. The stock default preset does that. I was trying to point out the the plugin has some other uses and is more versatile than some other people might think at a first glance. Hope you're well. Keep brutalizing all of the metalz!!!
