Yeah its a gem... I'd been waiting for them to update it with the transpose and other things... update + 50% off was a no brainer for me. I cut it out of the video but I said I have like 20 different 5150 sims already so using a gained out Marshall based sim is refreshing!
@@KML-XX I love the Cali as well, but more so for 6-strings tuned anything from E standard to drop C, or even 7-strings in B standard. It's not as tight and doesn't sound as good with 8-strings or low tuned 7-strings. The Nameless is absolutely perfect for 8-strings and super low tunings.
I bought this plugin when it came out a few years ago and was amazed how good it sounded. It immediately became my go to for heavy sounds and it's great to see it get some love with the new update. Hope see them revisit the NTS as well since it would be nice to have the delay, reverb, and doubler to jam withj. Great video and playing dude.
I pay for envato for video assets and it’s one of their metal songs, I use it pretty often in videos (can’t remember the name). But yeah essentially stock music not a band… riffing tune
I been using Gojira X for my 8 string kiesel. Then I tried this. Omg this is it bro. Everything from low to high mids on this Amp is superior to everything else, and you can fine sculpt the highs of course too. With transpose I drop 2 semi tones and all of a sudden I'm playing Erra's new stuff in low Eb and it sounds BROOTAL, amazing tone, and thumps and booms the lows with everything remaining tight sounding throughout the mid frequencies. Just manipulate the EQ faders whatever you need, I usually always cut the low lows very slightly, and boost the 2k a little, slight boost to 1k. Man it's amazing
@@ampspedalspickups bro it's all the easy shit 😂 it's like the cheese riff in "Pale Iris", and then "Past Life Persona" is my fuckin jam and the main riffs are pretty easy, probably their softest guitar song as far as guitar work ever lol
Doubler is the stereo micropitch which was developed back in the 80s for WDW rigs and they rediscover it again the 2020s i recommend to use soundtoys eventide h3000 algorithm or tc electronic 1210 way better
I actually changed this recently and I'm using the "ReaperTips Free" theme (reapertips channel... super nice guy!). For the track colours I always do them manually (takes 5 seconds). I've been sticking to certain colours for years and its become visual memory, dont need to think about it. Orange for tracking, purple for virtual instruments, blue for groups, red for top level etc etc. But yeah his channel and free theme are great, worth checking out
It’s got a whole cab section with virtual mics and virtual positions so if you want to nerd out and dial in your own sound it’s all there. But if you want to load in your own irs you can do it too. If I’m messing around I don’t bother changing anything just a quick mic move and I’m done. If I’m doing a proper mix I’d probably use my own it’s just preference, you can do it all in the app without needing anything else
I recently bought the Gojira X because I seen how much people like it but honestly after hearing your demo of the Nameless I instantly bought this and I LOVE the tone way more on this than the Gojira not saying It's bad but the Nameless sounds so full and clear at the same time for 50 bucks I couldn't pass it up.
I was just shocked how good was this plugins, I used to use ml sound amps, and when I got gojira NDSP made totaaaaal diference in my sound, just wondering how perfect is this X version of Nameless uffff brutal!
It should be fine, you might have to reach out to ilok or ndsp but if you bought it and can prove then its "yours". I havent done any of that stuff so I dont know how it 100% works first hand but Ive never heard of anyone losing things... just mainly delays on waiting for things to get fixed but, but never lost.
Didnt notice a big different when it switched, never think about it... just use the X its great. Finished using it for the track on the next video (punk song)
@ sweet ya I just bought it I did the free trial for the original one I guess it’s the same just with the updated looks like they don’t have the fortin pedal on this one?
@@ampspedalspickups When I wanted something a bit different for an amp, this was still my favorite IR plugin just using the cab. It’s tough to beat seeing it on almost every session for one reason or another.
@@ampspedalspickups il fact not everyone, other plugins wouldn’t exist anymore ;) And with free solutions like Tonocracy with NAM support, you know sales aren’t as easy now for NDSP. They now rely mostly on quad cortex, but it’s doing amp modeling land capturing sounding cheap compared to Fractal and ToneX. But that’s ok, I also loved NDSP plugins at the beginning, it was a good entry point for many people. The fact is that competition crush them now. And it’s why it’s great for us guitar players.
This update is really really awesome... Great playing ! Thank You for this Video !
The Nameless is still my favorite amp sim for 7- and 8-strings. Probably also the overall best sounding amp sim Neural DSP has made.

Absolut right!
Was a game changer when it originally came out. Glad to see it’s held up and is still one of the best years later.

Thanks for the video 🤙🏼

Legend! I think they are slowly redoing all the plugins, just taking they’re sweet time with em
been waiting for the EQ, delay, and reverb

🤜🤛🤘
I tried the demo & loved it! I do own the "Cali" plug-in, though. I guess I'll wait for that to get the update. Very tempted to pick this up on sale.
Yeah it’s a deep rabbit hole. I kind of want to pick up Cali and gojira but nameless was one that kept getting recommended over and over
Brutal tones!
Killer vid my dude 😎
Oooof
It looks and sounds amazing, i wish i could get it as well but this came at a very unfortunate timing for me when im like omega broke XD
I absolutely love the new X-version with it's transpose, metronome and doubler-function.
I’ve got hundreds of amp sims and neural has to be top of the pile, so good
broooo the "traspose" is amazing!!!!

This on sale right now is a serious bargain, I think I like the tone better than the Gojira.
May I ask what theme you're using for reaper? Looks sick and the colour coding looks like it would be very helpful.

Bro that riff is unreal. Is it a ready song at this point?
The one at the end of the video is Thrice (Silhouette), awesome band
Does this use impulse responses or would you add those separately? Or would you even need it?

I'm on the fence about Gojira and some of the others... I fundamentally love them all but thats a solid chunk of change. Totally happy with nameless!

This amp sim is amazing for Hardcore
7:00 has to be the best pop punk tone I’ve ever heard from a plugin out the box… 🤯🤯🤯
I love Marshall’s for pop punk, those story so far riffs help as well
Sounds great !! Sounds a bit digital , but in a good way
Definitely sounds digital to me
Was that Funeral for A Friend? 5:05
You know it was 🤜🤛
Thrice riff = instant sub
This is the way
Absolutely sick tones... After this video i demo it and then bought. Thank u sir. From Russia with love. ❤
The song you play around the 5 min mark was a favorite of mine back in day but can’t remember the name of that band.
Funeral for a friend - streetcar
I still practice with some of their riffs, so catchy and fast

What was the ending riff you said?
It’s from thrice - sillhoutte
This thing is criminally good, clearly a djent/progressive modern metal oriented but it's so versatile.
So good, still one of the ones I pull up constantly to try out different guitars and pedals. They did a great job on nameless
