Aloha from Hawaii! OMG I experimented for a month of satin enamal cloud mix. It's very temperamental!! I thought I had my recipe, then it failed. I did do the thin one and hoped for the whole cell thing and I cracked up watching yours, because that is what happened with mine! I did a pour over.. nothing at ALL as beautiful as yours!! That hold! Bling bling. I'm finding I love transparent color with cloud mix and, not going quite as thin. Fun watching this video!

I'm fairly new to acrylic pouring and have attempted the 'cloud effect' recently. Since you are the expert on this, please tell me one thing. Do I have to use specific brands or colors of acrylic paints along with the cloud mix to get the effect? For example, say Liquitex Basics works with the cloud mix and makes gorgeous clouds and Brand XYZ does nothing at all when poured with the cloud mix. Is that the norm? We have to figure out which colored acrylic paints will react with the cloud mix to get any clouds?
Home Depot has sample sizes of Behr paint line. You can get the bight white but I also bought a sample size of a deep base satin enamel. Haven’t tried adding it to other colours yet.
Ah they’re working now. My fault. Sorry. I love the pour using Venetian Blue. Just got the last one in existence (I think) for $3 at Michael’s. I’m going to save it for a larger canvas. But I have to wait tii spring when it’s warm enough to paint in the garage. Go big or go home!

Beautiful colors...love the tutorial on the cloud mix....how do you mix the colored paints?...Thank you for taking the time to show how you mix ....
I use floetrol, liquitex pouring medium GAC800 and water. All paints have different viscosities so it’s hard to give ratios for them

I have tried unsuccessfully. I have done dump and swirls on black that turned out good. Dwight is amazing at those!!

Pouring the whit on top to break up the puddle was a good move. Colours are beautiful. Especially love the purple
