For people saying "this is what all movies do": no they do not. In fact, a lot of amazing movies go out of their way to make their characters make GREAT choices. Good writing means that characters can still make the right choices and LOSE. That makes the best horror and thriller because it gives the audience HOPE. When you see the characters making the right choices you have hope that they will get out alive. Ten, twenty, thirty minutes of tension as we HOPE for the GOOD ending, but know it could still be the BAD ending. When you see characters make the worst fucking decisions of their lives, you just wait until the death comes. Then you get some shock and it's over. Ten seconds. So ten seconds of shock vs an entire scene with you on your toes. That's what good writing does and good characters do.

So has containment been breached? Government didn’t do a good job due to acting all shady and mysterious to the quarantined. In the first place, if they were setting up hazmat tents in front of the place, making things really noticeable, they didn’t have to completely ignore those in the bar. I laughed a lot when they sent the girl though the sewers and she bled all over the water because sepsis will kill her faster than the disease and they now succeeded in spreading the disease to the rest of the world. Then then proceeded to make the hole larger to fit everyone and i just bursted laughing out loud.
@@PatrikVolkov1994 depending on the source of infection sepsis symptoms can show up somewere from 30minutes to days. usually within the first three hours of someone showing symptoms of sepsis they should have received antibiotics and intravenous fluids. during the 1st six hours they need to be checked for low blood pressure and blood cultures need to be obtained. all of this while doing surgical drainage of infected fluid collections and support for organ dysfunction. given how she's been in direct contact with sewage through an untreated open wound, eyes, mouth, etc... and the fact that she's already infected with something before i'd give her at most a couple of hours before symptoms show up and she requires immediate medical attention to not die in the next 3 hours. which might be good for the world since she might die before reaching the infectious stage of wateaver she's been exposed beforehand XD

I remember watching a different movie like this, but the guy wasn't sick. When they finally realized who he was and why they were were looking for him, fights broke out, and then when the law finally came in and shot some people he was able to walk out with the other survivors.
The thing that makes this movie so ridiculous is realizing that if the disease is so bad and terrible that they opt to kill everyone who has been *in the vicinity* of the infected person, then not just the people at the bar but everyone that was at that street and others the man went through should have been killed. But even that would be stupid because if that were the case it would mean the disease spreads through the air and that means that even if killing everyone who ever was in the vicinity of the man was possible, the disease would still spread as it already is it the air itself.
I mean some diseases spread through touch only so that could be the case with this one. And once patient zero was in the bar, the police just shoot everyone who comes out and until no one is left, burn the bodies afterwards and then pass it off as the fire incident on TV.
it's important to say this movie is a dark comedy, many of the bad decisions are really just for the comedic effect, gotta watch it to understand it completely

I remember watching this movie only for the actress who plays the lady, because I have seen her in some Spanish comedy and love her. But the movie itself it's crazy, improbable, frankly speaking, although I also understand the fear that can encompass you at the thought of death and the self-defense feeling, as a criminalist I can say the movie is very unreal. I think the Spaniards and the Italians have to stick to their established comedies which are by far the best in Europe, actually for us as European much better than the US one let's be real, just as the French have to stay on dramas because on comedy they have absolutely no talent. And the police and crime ones stay with Scandinavians who have a ridiculous pleasure in doing them oh and Czechs are extraordinary on the supernatural film area started from folk legends. Watched this movie on theatre and gave me more anxiety than any movie ever had. Hated every second of it, it doesn't give you a break

I remember watching this movie only for the actress who plays the lady, because I have seen her in some Spanish comedy and love her. But the movie itself it's crazy, improbable, frankly speaking, although I also understand the fear that can encompass you at the thought of death and the self-defense feeling, as a criminalist I can say the movie is very unreal. I think the Spaniards and the Italians have to stick to their established comedies which are by far the best in Europe, actually for us as European much better than the US one let's be real, just as the French have to stay on dramas because on comedy they have absolutely no talent. And the police and crime ones stay with Scandinavians who have a ridiculous pleasure in doing them oh and Czechs are extraordinary on the supernatural film area started from folk legends. The rest of us we can just watch please. Because let's be real with a few exceptions when other nations try to make movies, including my Dutch, an unimaginable stupidity comes out, oh I didn't mention the Romanian romance series good to if you like that type of stuff. As for romance movie ... I don't know who can do that because I never seen a good one from Europe production (I'm talking about continental Europe, I never pay attention to the British). As for my dear Danes who deserve special mention, please please please stop making series or movie, I love the Danish theater, I haven't seen better actors than in Copenhagen anywhere and I'm very serious but at series and movies idea......why?
