There are now three series, and they are all shorts - anything between 7 and no more than 12 or so minutes, and cover a great range of possible aspects of the present, the near, and the far future - mostly sci-fi, but also horror and just excellent storytelling - and either in animation or very lifelike CGI. First-Class Entertainment !

The idea is of a shared consciousness beyond the three dimensional space time we reside in currently and hence, not constraint by temporal or distal limitations. Pretty sure its not the radiation that causes the burn, but the light/heat flash, it goes alot further out with a neuclear bomb than the radiation does (not counting what the wind might carry and theres also a difference between a bomb detonated in air and one detonating on ground level, the latter spreading alot more radiated material)

Still wondering how they got from all out destruction from nuclear war to miles ahead of what even we have in our world today. The turnaround seemed a bit fast to me.
Taken a look at Japan in the late 50s, 60s, 70s....especially today. Nobody that wasn't told differently would ever imagine they lost a nuclear war.
I'd imagine the civilisation's recovery would be something like Japan or Britain after WW2 more than anything like Mad Max or Fallout
