Just when you think you have discovered all the reasons to love Phil McKnight, he does something like this. Thanks so much Phil. Your content helped me get through much of the COVID period and reignited my passion for guitars and music. Since finding you on TH-cam and following your content, I have really improved my guitar tech skills to the point that I have created somewhat of a successful side-gig buying and selling gear which boosts my income a bit, but mostly allows me to put my hands on so many guitars (and gear) that I otherwise would not have. You are the best - thank you so much for sharing part of your life with your fans!
Thanks for the deeper look into the working lives of the McKnights! I think in this virtual world where we have a common hobby/life, it helps brings communities closer together since there is no face-to-face interactions.

I saw the 5th Dimension for free at Milwaukee Fest ( ? Wisconsin Fest ? ) with my family for free in the early 70s ( ? late 60s ? ? talk about dimensions, it was a special band in a special time. I played music since 1st grade, and live always fascinated me, but l didn’t turn out to be a life long concert goer- by my 30s in Chicago 30 years ago l was done. Love this interview.
Congratulations to a couple who know and love each other; as someone who was 7 when The Beatles were invented, I listened endlessly to the same one or two records of theirs I owned. I had no idea what many of the lyrics were and would make up words to fit, to this day, do my best “not” to correct myself.
On the subject of mishearing lyrics, my mother used to think the line "the girl with kaleidoscope eyes" from Lucy In The Sky With Diamonds was 'the girl with colitis goes by'. I told my boss who was a massive Beatles fan and he said he would never be able to listen to it again without mishearing the line just like my mother.

Phil should have his own personal "Amp Shed" where he can go out and make outrageous noise to the detriment of no one ... just sayin' (and of course, Shauna should have her own "She Shed" as well...) p.s. HAHAHA, I bought a stratacoustic AND telecoustic for the different sound, it definitely isnt for everyone, I dont think cheap is the right word, but different/thin/plastic tone as there should be use for all instruments. 🖤 they are also fine with nylon (in my personal ear opinion) for not annoying campfire types 😂 I also prefer thin body acoustic sound over full body acoustics, which i thin body is closer to the plastic tonalities, its just preference I guess.
Supposedly, Albert Einstein bought 7 of the exact same suit, and wore them everyday. From what I've heard, Einstein said he didn't want to spend his idle time thinking about what to wear. Same for you it seems Phil.
