Oh well Scotty kids are 10 times safer in the back of that GM than in your 94 celica. That's why I drive a full sized half ton I have young kids. That and the traction with all the weight in the winter storms up north. You can only get rear vents in the new design lol 2019 or newer. That and they centered the steering wheel and made round wheel wells instead of square. I think I'll keep my dodge.
I own a 2017 Chevrolet Silverado highcountry 4x4 before I enjoy my truck but you are right GM quality is crap 97,000 miles I put on it in 2 years I just flushed my transmission & transfer case I change my oil every 5,000 miles don't buy the 2014 or 2015 one they have lifter problems GM did fix the problem in 2016 take care of your vehicle it will last longer
Imagine being the bloke that owns that truck watching this video... Like Scotty man all I asked was for you to check out the AC not do a whole walk around a point out every bad aspect of my truck. Guy went and traded it in the next day more and likely. 😂
My 2011 Silverado has 260000 miles on it and it still runs great.I did put a deactivator on it to keep it in full V-8 mode. Great truck with no payment
Same here. My 2014 silverado 6.2l has 280k miles, I put on a range afm deactivator, and it's still going! Original everything. Just maintenance and tune-ups. I'm presently working on redoing the suspension, though.
My first truck was a chevy Silverado. 280k miles trucks been every mudhole I saw in my teen years and it still runs like a top. I got it when i was 14 and I'm nearly 29. I've put an alternator on it. I think I'll keep my chevy
@@cavscout62 ive got a 2013 f-150 with the 5.0 and it is a fantastic truck, the only work we did with it is basic maintenance and a replacement battery, great truck, id say its one of the last good modern trucks
I have an all-original 2000 Chevy Silverado 1500. It has nearly 300,000 miles. Even with all the internal plastic pieces they switched to in this generation, it’s still held up better than most Fords I see from similar years.
those early 2000 fords are honestly a hit or miss, i know someone who had one with 400k miles and finally went out because of a wreck, and then some where they go out when you just look at it, you never know with those early 2k ones lol
My F150 has the aluminum bed. It was cheap when I bought it. Aluminum bed isn’t a good idea. Oil change guy tells me the oil pan is plastic and the plug is plastic. Only a rubber O ring keeps oil inside
I have 09 ford f150 149k new motor 6gs , I also have 2000 gmc sierra 180k original motor both trucks have little things like fan speed actuators etc gone bad but the ford even tho looks cool sits high rides well has rot in cab corners and has been nothing but a typical stereotypical ford piece of s....
It’s the science of SALES. Just like short skirts and that old axiom of the advertising world “sex sells”. No I’m not joking look it up. Same foolishness goes here with chrome and cameras...🤬. Why can’t they make a simple work truck model / version that hasn’t got all the needless 💩 on it. Say for $15-20000 less ? How about that🧻 GM🧻
if you watch the whole video...he basically says nothing except that the evaporator and tailgate handle are junk. that hardly makes for a worthless pickup. the suspension, chassis, engine, all solid. yeah it sucks to change the AC at five years or so, but that doesn't make the truck a poor purchase. I'm a ford guy, but I agree with you on the call...nothing bad on these rigs.
I've got a 2015 Tahoe with 105k miles that'll take the cab temperature from 100+ to walk in cooler in 5 mins, I also got rear-ended in a 2015 Sierra at a dead stop by a Nissan crossover going 65-70 mph and suffered no serious injuries. I also got 24-25 mpg highway consistently with my Sierra; though mine had the 6.2 not the 5.3. I'm not sure what problems y'all are having with your GM trucks but mine have treated me very well.
I have a Suburban in Phoenix, it's AC will make you put a sweater on in the middle of the summer. I get 30mpg all the time with the 5.3. plus I tow more than most of the F150s and the Rams I see combined.
And if you think that Toyotas are completely trouble free I have a bridge I'll sell you. If we listened to every video that Scotty makes we'd all be on skateboards cuz there wouldn't be a worthwhile car to own. Every brand has its problems don't care who makes it.
Love how this channel disses Chevys. Got an 09 1500 Z71 with 274,000, and does mostly interstate driving that’s still running strong. It gets used for towing often as well. All about the maintenance.
I agree with Scotty on the closing statement: "rather pay cash for a car that's 5 grand used than get no interest on an $80K car." :) Really hits home. A coworker just went for a $75K Silverado with low interest and incentives. Monthly auto loan payment higher than my monthly home mortgage. No thanks.
I made a statement like that to a person I work with, his response was 'hey the trick is to get it off the showroom floor, I'll make every third payment a best'
Part of the trick is who you are. I buy the cheapest new Silverado work trucks, they cost about the same as a lower end car (upper teens, lower 20s). If you use a truck as a commuter car, that's the best idea. Most guys who traditionally buy high end trucks (theoretically commercial vehicles), are able to write them off on their taxes. I know a guy who buys a new Silverado each year (he owns 2 at a time, for his company so every year they trade 1 in), and trades them in at the 2 year mark, when they each typically have 250,000 miles or so. When it's a tax write-off, it makes a lot more sense. Obviously office workers can't justify the expense unless they're well paid.
😅😅😅 it’s not thaaaaatttt baddd ..... it’s like a second marriage/wife that your wife knows about ..... it costs the same anyways as far as I’m concerned
@@JPGOTTBERG Many of us have recession proof jobs. I for one had people offering me jobs every day in 2008 and 2009. You just need to pick horrible jobs. My wife is an ICU Nurse. I do psych treatment for the criminally insane. No risk of job losses here 😂😂😂
Coads 1 yeah totally crazy....almost like all those guys making stupid power with junkyard 4.8,5.3,6.0 ls motors running 8s in the 1/4 mile for dirt cheap. Love all the butt hurt in the comments. So much heart and feelings into brands you had no part in.
I haul my huge and heavy cab-over camper with my '89 R3500 Chevy Silverado with a 454. She was my late hubby's baby. She only had one short-term owner before us. She's a beast and due to my age, she'll be my last vehicle. Like everything else these days the price goes up and the quality goes down.
I have a 2011 Tahoe. Not one issue. I got it in 2011. Only darn thing that happened was the gas station had bad gas and ruined 😡 my gas tank!!! That’s been it. I repaired it and moved on. Absolutely no issues ever.
15 years with my Titan 310,000 mile L.A miles The ones that take 2hrs to drive 50 miles. same transmission same engine and The AC works like new haven’t touched it for anything still has the original Refrigerant.
Carlos Cortez Hell yeah my man! I’ve got a 20 year old Nissan Pathfinder (back when they were actually tough trucks). I bought it new in ‘99 and have put about 350k Bay Area miles on it. Never had a serious problem. Not one. There sure is something to be said about these old Nissan trucks 💪
Dont buy a toyota ur forehead will be bigger than scotty and u will be mad at anything thats better than toyota plus u will have an asthma while explaining why u buy toyota
I got a 10yr 100,000 mile extended warranty on my 2019 Tahoe and it sounds like my GM dealership will be busy fixing my SUV until my miles/years expire...laughing horse
Luis Bolanos anecdotally, I hear a lot more horror stories from people I know about ram/gm. Even the people who like them seem to trade-in pretty frequently
I just bought a Silverado a month ago that is only a couple years old for a really good deal because of the gas situation. The last one I owned was a 1992. Huge difference. I’ve been driving Jeep Grand Cherokees (Hemi) since then so I thought to myself why not lol. I’m happy with it so far.
I feel like if he was anyone else, the comments would go in on him but since he's somehow everyone's cool crazy uncle we all just kind of passively laugh it off because he's still family and we love him.
Most cars today are built to be brought and drove for a little bit and then traded in for a newer one the next two to three years. It helps the economy by making you spend more money lol
amani mango Not really. That was more of a 1950s thing where you traded for a new car because they styling was out of date every year, and your engine was whupped by 100,000 miles because of poor quality oil and less advanced tolerances. Not at all uncommon to see 15-20 year old vehicles driving around today. Look at pictures from the ‘70s and you’ll very rarely see a car from the 1950s. People keep vehicles longer today than they ever have.
@@jackstacey7519 Also cars today are more reliable in the sheer mechanical aspect. What really holds us back is nuances in technology. Cars without high tech aren't valued as well. Look at how much the Mitsubishi Mirage sold and how poorly rated it was. Even-though the Mirage is pretty reliable and cheap to own. It is considered a crap car by most reviewers but reviewers don't like boring cars and there's not much to say about the Mirage.
we have a fleet of these that we maintain at work in the oil field where they're abused. never had to do an evaporator in the dash and the tailgate handles which are constantly used are never worn out. Major repairs have only been hubs, balljoints, motor mounts and the condenser (the condenser being a gm manufacturing issue, bad weld).
Scotty's videos drive me crazy. The dash evaporator leaks on one truck, and all GM products are junk. I owned a 2004 Pontiac Vibe, (Toyota Matrix), until it threw a rod at 130,000 miles. My 1997 GMC Safari Van is running strong with very little maintenance at 171,000 miles. So I conclude all Toyotas are junk, and all GM made vehicles are reliable. Same logic.
@@karllued The only reason the Vibe was any good was because of what was underneath it. The worst part of the Vibe was the GM alternator they strapped to that 1.8l.
My 2002 Silverado 1500HD 4x4 6.0L had 212,000 miles on it before I traded it in. I drove it from 2009-2020, over the years I replaced the water pump, fuel pump, front wheel bearings, and the a/c belt. All repairs were made after 170,000 miles. I traded it in on a 2019 Silverado LD 4x4 5.3L. Wife drives a 2013 z71 5.3L. Chevrolet makes good trucks, until one lets me down I ain't changing brands.
Hood for you but trucks made after 2004 are pretty much trash. Esthetically they’re nice but I’ve had my time with Chevy and it’s crapola. Not to mention side bumper panels falling off bc taped or glued on
Had a 99 Silverado LS with 265K miles on. Original evaporator and still blows cold air (on its second compressor though). It's now my son's truck. My 2014 Silverado LT with 63k miles is just as awesome, love that truck!
Yeah, but they sure are a lot of them with 200k and 300k plus miles still running up and down the roads. Regardless of Scotty's opinion, the truth is they last forever and you can't hardly kill them. I've never owned a vehicle of any brand that didnt need some work along the way, especially when it hits 100k miles
@@phil-1115 He likes the old rigs like my dads 1970 GMC pickup that had the infamous 307 motor. Lots of power, thin cylinder walls, pretty much guaranteed the motor to be rebuilt at 50-60k miles. Then the cylinder walls were so thin that if you did bore them out they'd get hot and ruin the thin walls. Best thing you could do with those was to run it til it blew up and then replace it with a good motor like the 327. That is what we replaced ours with after it had gone through Three different 307 motors by 1986
@62guitarguy, The only vehicle that I have ever owned with no A.C. was the 68 and it didn't have one from the factory. I have owned many GM trucks and cars with well over 200K miles and all had working A.C. I even owned a 79 Ford Granada once and the A.C. worked on it too. I have been a Master Tech for a long time, and I, or tech's that I have worked with, have repaired A.C.'s on just about every make and model on the road. I can't say that one is worse than the other.
I've owned Dodge, Ford, Chevy, Pontiacs. I learned how too work on cars from my 69 GTO, now grant it, it was old and i was young beat on it daily and didn't take care of it, but it taught me something..lol I've had good luck with most my cars but i gotta say the least amount of working on cars has been my fords.
I just had this done on my 2012 Ram 1500 Laramie Longhorn w/ 110k miles was leaking for a couple years. $80 to refill every summer or $2500 to repair (swapped the heater core too because the heat was weak as well ) all under the dash. Dodge defiantly has build problems too
Yeah and its going to be worth $1 that celica he dont even drive but he brags about it being the mos reliable car ever. Any car can be reliable if it's not driven
I have a 2009 Camry and the evaporator went out in it two years ago. Parts and labor to fix it, $2,000. The part was only $200. The rest was labor, so it's not only GM that is doing this kind of crap.
Spot on Scotty... I got rid of my 2014 Silverado after I had to replace the condensor AND A/C compressor at around 5 years old... I took your advice and got a Toyota, a 4Runner to be exact. I will not buy another domestic car EVER!
I like Scottys videos. However, I have a '14 Silverado. Made in Fort Wayne, IN. It has 75,000 miles on it and has never let me down. I haven't experienced any mechanical issues with the truck and AC is still going strong. I don't think the reputation of the AC system should dictate a truck being called bad, maybe understandable if you live down south. As I type this one friend has a 2016 Ford F150 with 42k is getting a failed transmission replaced and a coworker with a 2014 Tundra is experiencing leaking oil from his valve cover gaskets at 60k.
@@bryantramirez742 supra or even s2000 oh and honda makes dirtbikes yeah both brands are real boring....they get bad rep for selling what actually sells such as boring old sedans which let me tell ya last forever or well very long time

It's an option. Mine has heated and cooled front seat and heated rear seat. You don't get much for 40 grand anymore, which is sad. That applies to all manufacturers.
@@commentingisawasteoftime7195 I did also on a ford explorer I had. But that was 1 handle on an explorer I had for 15 years. I have replaced 4 Chevy handles in less than 10 years
my 2018 has been an absolute pleasure to drive. I know certain components will wear out. But Ive undercoated it every year since new. Its in great shape up here in the rust belt. I dont beat on it either. 40k miles and going strong. The fit/finish compared to the bankruptcy 07-13 gen is superb. Built in USA. its an awesome truck.
2018 - super pleased every time I get behind the wheel again. Quiet, reliable, never dog it, but jumped a curb or two strategically like it's built for it.
@@OnHoldAt50 I only beat on it a little after I first got it, to see what it could do. It's got plenty of power for a truck. But now I just baby it unless I have to pass somebody going 30 in a 45 or something lol
@@OnHoldAt50 my 2018 runs like a dream, my only gripe is the barely noticeable thump when it down shifts. I'm at 90k miles and haven't had to do any work on it. I put on the Pulsar LT and only turned off the AFM, drives even better now.
Never understood the attraction of a Ford truck. Chevy’s always been the best looking, longest lasting most reliable truck. I can’t get by the big round wheel wells of the Ford. Just never been an attractive truck
I'll never buy another Dodge Ram. We had to have our heater coil replaced so we had the evaporator changed while it was all torn apart. The Dash broke when the tech pulled it and I was charged $1500 just to buy a new one as they said "it was cracked and we didn't know it." $3000 later when we drove it home there was no cold or heat. They had to take it apart a second time because a $10 part wasn't installed correctly or it was broken.
They maybe could have been more careful but I will say, Dodge historically has dashboard cracking problems on all their plastic interiors. Most of them actually just crack by themselves while your driving, rather than require someone to touch it at all.
EVERYTHING you touch in my ram is broken. Literally. Any handles. window controlls. Visor. ignition. Cup holder. Storage door thing... Everything! The dash is also cracked all over. Worst interior I have ever seen in a vehicle. My heater core is leaking too. It will be a new truck by the time I fix everything. I paid less than your dash and it's been a great truck for me atleast. 5.9 third gen.
My 01 dodge ram 1500 did the same thing about the heater core and then the dash just fell apart , all you had to do was just touch it and it would crumble but alot of the dodge rams had the same issue with the dash breaking into a 100 pieces.
Never owned anything but a GM truck and have never really had many issues, and never a major issue. Total of six trucks one which I drove for 14 years and a 06’ I drove for 10 years and the guy I sold it to is a mechanic and loves it.
Good to hear. My 99 Sierra has 126k now. Still runs strong. I’ll just hang on for as long as possible. Actually still like the interior although there is some cheap plastic.
Looks like I’m having the same issue. It is summertime now, AC is nice but I can’t say I rely on it heavily. Wondering if the replacement has held up and if its even worth it for me to get this fixed?
I had a 97 4 runner loved that little SUV but my Silverado has been just if not more reliable and my 5.3 is super cheap on gas both make great trucks but I'm American 🤘
Exactly. Its like what the hell are we suppose to buy? I'm in the market for a used truck right now Dodge sucks...Chevy sucks according to him. Is the only reliable vehicle out there a Toyota? Good grief.
Love my 2006 GMC SIerra, with the small V8. Extremely trouble free. So far I replaced the serpentine belt and tension pulley, and put new shocks and tires on it. Cleaned the MAF sensor once. I did have to fix the instrument cluster which needed resoldered. Other than that, the truck is amazing. Oh yeah, I also replaced the speakers. Took out the paper cone junk speakers when they degraded.
I actually own a 2015 Silverado that is now coming up on 69,000 miles. To date the only work done on it outside of routine servicing was front brake pad replacement and a battery, not unusual for a truck of this age and mileage. Although properly maintained, this truck is not "coddled". It is a daily driver and weekend work truck. I commute 300 miles weekly and often make road trips averaging between 400 and 900 miles round-trip. I haul and tow with this truck and it continues to perform well. Vehicles built in the last 10 years, foreign and domestic, have routinely become more complicated, especially with the greater use of computer based components and demands for more creature comforts. I can guarantee most of them have some repair that is more complex and costly than they were on models of previous years (adjusting for inflation). One can make a case that cost, service and repairs on newer vehicles overall are more complex and expensive than vehicles built over 10 years ago (again, adjusting for inflation). Singleing out the Silverado for the complexity and cost of a single repair is completely uncalled for.
@@bradwick212 no not at all lol GM is building them worse, chinamotors is not interested in building quality just quantity & there is a suck born every min.
4:02: "It would have cost them too much or maybe they couldn't figure out how to do it." Best line in the video. Second best line: "Chrome doesn't get you home."
My 2004 Silverado has 237k on it. Spent most of it's life in salt winters. Seen -20 to 110 temps. Original ac parts, never been charged. Factory water pump and alternator made it past 210k.
I bought a 2003 Silverado, drivetrain was perfect, 4.8 liter engine with 4L60 trans, I racked up 298,000 miles before the transmission went south. Couldn't ask for a better engine and transmission. The tailgate handle broke a few times, the door handles broke, the real kicker for me was the instrument cluster, the all electronic cluster failed at about 100K, gauges quit working, the unit is keyed to the VIN and mileage so you can't just run down to the parts store and get one, it has to be programmed for your vehicle. I was down for 2 weeks and out $300 for a rebuilt instrument cluster. It was all over you tube with videos on how to replace the instrument panel and a bunch of companies were already rebuilding the panels so I know I wasn't alone. Then my mother in law had a 2012 or 2013 leased chevy and the same thing happened, wife had a trail blazer and the same thing happened. Quality at GM sucks. I bought a used Toyota, great truck. It probably has the same kind of instrument panel with servo motors to move the needles, but I have never met anyone who complained about replacing their Toyota instrument panel.
Don’t be fooled by the Toyota talk they have just as many problems if not more so than GM and Ford. They are made from the same parts from the same factories as GM and that’s a fact. There really is no difference anymore. Part sourcing went international years ago. Magna produces parts for GM, Ford, Chrysler, Toyota, Honda, Volkswagen, Kia, Hyundai, even BMW.
Its a very well documented issue with the gauge cluster and pita to fix. Mine needed new soldering too and my son just soldered in new motors on all of them.
I can't say I agree here at all. I work at a Subaru dealer, and I've seen my share of 2020 Subarus with major issues. Leaking oil pans, transmissions, rear diffs, etc. Outbacks, STIs, Crosstreks. All with anywhere from 20-2000 miles.
A friend has a 2017 Crosstrek..engines been good..fun to drive..the cvt trans has a slow leak..that can only be serviced by adding $$ special Subaru fluids..otherwise, it looses power and/ or won't go into gear..
I may have small minor issues with my silverados but that’s because they are over 10 years old but never had to put a new engine or transmission. My dad has a Ford and a year later the seats started fading and he had to put in the shop three times where it stayed a week. He ended up having to replace the braking system and the engine harness and the tried to fix his transmission that was slipping. My husband had a Ford and thought they were great because they did not take a bailout he ended up selling it back to Ford because it had soo many issues. Each brand is going to have issues but I have owned nothing but silverados since I was 18 and has had no horrible issues that cannot be fixed myself or reasonable by the dealership.
He is obviously talking about Modern Chevrolets. 90s and 2000s Chevy trucks were great. Modern ones are cheap and seems like it was made lazy. Which is why Ford is killing GM and Dodge. They make their modern trucks with way better quality
Whistle Blower1 for the Silverado/Sierra it’s the Crew Cabs of the 1500 line. Other configurations of those trucks, and the Heavy Duty ones should be coming from here. The HDs come from Michigan, and the Regular and Double Cab of the 1500s come from Ft. Wayne Indiana.
Love your channel! I agree a truck that new with a major failure is unacceptable, BUT, a used Toyota cost twice as much as a used Chevy and Chevy parts are cheap and they're easy to work on
Jeep....Tundra.....what are you really babbling about. When you cant bring up a valid argument, you bring up the square wheel wells. Other manufacturers do as well. OPEN YOUR EYES!
My father has a 98 mustang gt, around 130k miles. Still all original AC and heating equipment, blows ice cold air and hot air. That's not my only experience. Fords equipment definitely lasts longer in my experiences.
Love my 2017 3500 with 6.0 gasser. Mostly towing almost 100k and running strong. Made some power changes to engine and transmission to ensure reliability at 40k miles. Perfect ever since.
I have had both a 2006 chevrolet silverado 1500 and a 2015 and I never had any mechanical issue's with neither of them. All you have to do is keep up with the maintenance and your good. I'm looking to buy my 3rd silverado as we speak.
I had a venza for a couple years with 3.5 L engine. I finally had to trade it in. The hid headlights and timing belts were a chronic issue. Every few months there was a new $1000 or more repair. It handled great, fast and comfortable. But it was a money pit.
Love my 2019 V8 5.2L Chevy Silverado high country barely any miles on it no problems and such a clean looking truck. Keeping it shiny like pulling it off the showroom. Gonna keep it updated and maintained so in about 30 yrs it'll be a nice classic truck with low miles and great condition. And hopefully then I can sell it for around what I paid for it. I don't know will see how it goes

Key to owning a vehicle
Really doesn't matter what you buy now days all the new vehicles are built like junk hard to work on and mostly plastic
Toyota 4Runner my man
Most cars today are built to be brought and drove for a little bit and then traded in for a newer one the next two to three years.

Truth they lots of problemes with their electronics..
Well then just pay 20k more for a f150. I'd take that cheap handle any day to save 20k
my 2018 has been an absolute pleasure to drive. I know certain components will wear out. But Ive undercoated it every year since new. Its in great shape up here in the rust belt. I dont beat on it either. 40k miles and going strong. The fit/finish compared to the bankruptcy 07-13 gen is superb. Built in USA. its an awesome truck.
I have a 2018 and it's also been great.
Trish Blassingame
Why? What kind of problems did you have?
FIAT CHRYSLER RAM ARE ALL POORLY ENGINEERED! THEY LOOK GREAT BUT SIMPLY DO NOT HOLD UP!!

Thanks Scotty for the tip. My 2002 Silverado LT just crossed 729000 still running great! Gonna wait on a new one for now.
Good to hear. My 99 Sierra has 126k now. Still runs strong. I’ll just hang on for as long as possible. Actually still like the interior although there is some cheap plastic.
Too much emphasis nowadays is put on the infotainment features and electronic gadgetry instead improving mechanical reliability.
Wow
I just had to replace my AC in my 2014 silverado, also a 2k fix
Looks like I’m having the same issue. It is summertime now, AC is nice but I can’t say I rely on it heavily. Wondering if the replacement has held up and if its even worth it for me to get this fixed?
Yeah my 2014 also they are known for it
Basically “don’t buy anything unless it’s an old Toyota” 🙄
I had a 97 4 runner loved that little SUV but my Silverado has been just if not more reliable and my 5.3 is super cheap on gas both make great trucks but I'm American 🤘
Exactly. Its like what the hell are we suppose to buy? I'm in the market for a used truck right now Dodge sucks...Chevy sucks according to him. Is the only reliable vehicle out there a Toyota? Good grief.
Watch his video on the Tahoe he is a big fan of the old school v8 they made back in the day which they also used in the Silverado
The best truck on the market is an old Celica
@@82drumhead you've been brainwashed
Love my 2006 GMC SIerra, with the small V8. Extremely trouble free. So far I replaced the serpentine belt and tension pulley, and put new shocks and tires on it. Cleaned the MAF sensor once. I did have to fix the instrument cluster which needed resoldered. Other than that, the truck is amazing. Oh yeah, I also replaced the speakers. Took out the paper cone junk speakers when they degraded.
i have an 03 Denali with the 6.0 and i agree, it’s bulletproof
The 4.8 is a damn good motor
Your AC condenser will leak soon .They all do with the 5.3L engine.2014 to 2018 models.
Did you change your own battery?

I have a 2002 Silverado 1500 short bed regular cab. 190k miles transmission is slipping at 2nd so I can relate.
Unbelievable
A friend has a 2017 Crosstrek..engines been good..fun to drive..the cvt trans has a slow leak..that can only be serviced by adding $$ special Subaru fluids..otherwise, it looses power and/ or won't go into gear..
@@aaronhumphrey2009 His CVT may be covered. Since the failure rate is so high, Subaru extended the trans warranty to 100k mi.
Subarus are only for Colorado...
I have a 2012 silverado love it no problems 146000+ miles
I have 01 Chevy Silverado 1500 with 315000 miles on it . Still works great
He is obviously talking about Modern Chevrolets. 90s and 2000s Chevy trucks were great. Modern ones are cheap and seems like it was made lazy. Which is why Ford is killing GM and Dodge. They make their modern trucks with way better quality
I've got an 02. Good truck
How many transmissions?
