Micro habits mentioned in this video:
    1. *Start a 5 minute walk* when you wake up helps get you out of your unproductive state ( it’s in your head )
    2. *Break big tasks* - for better management
    3. *Review long term goals* helps not forget about them, to work with purpose, it increases productivity
    4. *Attract greatness* by surrounding yourself with more successful people.
    5. *Know what time your most productive* and take advantage of it.
    6. *Set a second alarm* instead of clicking the snooze button
    7. *Hide your phone* it’s a massive distraction. Don’t have it near you when your “working”
    8. *identify your top 3 goals* out of all your everyday goals have 3 “have to goals” - make
sure they bring you closer to greatness.

I must say There is something sooo assuring and powerful about the phrase " habits that ARE CHANGING my life" than " habits that HAVE CHANGED my life" !!!

    SHORT-TERM GOAL TIPS:
    1. Take a 5 min walk
    2. Break up big tasks into smaller sections
    3. Review your long-term goals daily to always keep them in mind and not forget about them
    LONG-TERM:
    4. attract greatness - surround yourself with people who are successful
    5. Work at the time of day that you are most focused & productive
    6. Set a second alarm in another room 20 mins later than your initial alarm to make sure that you get up in time and turn it off without waking everyone else up in the house
    7. Hide your phone to avoid distractions
    8. Identify your top 3 goals and make sure that at least one has been done by the end of the day

To the *incredible person* that's seeing this, I wish you all the best in life❤ don't over blame yourself, accept things and go forward. Don't let others define what “success” is for you. Get up, learn the skills needed and get after it, all the keys to a happy life is in your hands. Keep pushing.

Thank you for this video. I think it's so important to review goals daily because often, we set big goals, expecting to achieve them but then go on to forget and not achieve them. If you want to achieve something, it has to be on your mind all the time.

you might don't see the results soon. It's just natural.
Let me tell you a small story. (But when I write, it might get a little bit long, so please don't mind it 😅) .
One day a man named John was walking through a forest and then he saw a huge rock blocking his way and suddenly a man appeared behind the rock and he have a big hammer. John asked that man what is he doing there and the man replied that that rock is blocking the way for people to walk and it's hard move that rock from there so I'm trying to break it into two so that I can remove it easily with his hammer and John replied that how are you doing this and the man replied 2 months and 28 days. John laughed and replied, "You can't do that! See, your working on this for months and there is not even a little crack on this rock. Working on this is pointless and you should stop doing this" The man replied, "You might not see the results soon, but that doesn't that it's not working."
By saying that, John walk over the other side of the rock.
After a month passed, John came back there and again he saw the same huge rock but not the man. He thought that, that man must've give up.
But suddenly John saw that same man approaching him. And he surprised that the man still doing that. The man told John to move away from because he have to hammer the rock and John moved away and after a while of hammering the huge rock, it suddenly brock apart into two. John was surprised.
And then he was trying to move the one half of the rock from the way and John helped him to remove both half of the huge rock.
And he said, "I'm sorry. I was wrong. I can't believe you did this. It's amazing! If I was you and someone told me that this not going to work I would easily give up"
The man, " If I'm doing something and thinking that it work, I don't care what people say. We might can't see the results soon but it doesn't mean that it's not changing or working."
      They both laughed.
      That man's name was Mike.
      Mike and John became friends.
(Well.... This is just way to long! 😂)
You see, that you might not getting the results at first, but you should keep moving and then you'll the results.
SO, DON'T GIVE UP AND KEEP GOING!!

    “How to 80/20 your work:
    (1) Make a list of the 10 things you spend the most time on.
    (2) Circle the two that truly drive your results. Do more of those.
    (3) Look at the others. Eliminate ruthlessly. Automate or outsource what you can. Press pause on the rest.
    (4) Repeat.”
    -James Clear

First here! BTW love your videos Mike! A perk that works for me if i feel like procrastinating is I usually take a 15-20 mins break to practise my musical instrument(piano in my case) it really works for me and I really recomend doing that to whoever has an instrument. And its never too late to start playing one!

Hello! Quick question. What if nobody I know is great? Everyone in my school/class is lazy, and hence is why I get bullied because I stick out like a sore thumb. (Asking teachers what page on the textbook we should study etc). I kinda just got over the bullying because I just assumed they where jealous of something. I know it sounds arrogant or big headed, but whenever they would make fun of me. I’d just say, they are probably just jealous that I have better grades then them. It just helps me get over the bullying and motivates me. But because of that - nobody (friends etc) is that good at like studying and stuff. Some of them are nice, but they Mainly just play games or whatever. Does that mean I am doomed to fail? Because you said the most important thing is to surround myself with greatness.

    • @탄야-h7g
      @탄야-h7g 2 ปีที่แล้ว

you kinda answered your own question. If their jealousy gives you motivation I think that's the best thing. You don't have to prove yourself to anyone but yourself. You can also watch studytube to give you more motivation to study :)

    • @DreamingCutie
      @DreamingCutie 2 ปีที่แล้ว

No you're not doomed to fail because of others or outside events. You are only doomed to fail once you give up or don't recognize that your input determines the output.
Soon you will leave that group of people behind and move on to the next stage of education or a job. You might be able to find like minded people there.

True, I am also having a similar problem cause most of people in my social circle focuses on short term pleasures rather than long term goals.
I have figured a way out. We can join online communities out there or connect ourselves with self help books!
      Hope it helps ⭐
