I've been listening to metal for over 50 years. I can say with 100% confidence that since this band and song became my all-time favorites in each category, that I will take this song to my grave as my all-time favorite song.

Yes, these women are so relentless and beyond belief. In addition, Miyako is a concert level classical pianist. Music is one of those very subjective matters. Of course I love this song but, fortunately, they have so many excellent songs and some of them are masterpieces. On another side of them, “Epilogue” (live, 2019) is a power ballad that I love so much. These women are so versatile. My next recommendation is “Chopin Etude + Swan song”, live, 2020.

They are masterclass in everything they do. The dark hair guitarist plays piano at a insanely high level. The other guitarist is a body builder who placed in her first competition. Oh and Fami the bassist is only 20 years old and insane.

They dropped this on Christmas day 2022. I had been trying to decide what to nominate as "Song of the Year" in my music column, and this completely ended the debate. Then to have them nail it so well in their live shows in 2023 was icing on the cake.

this came from their new CD after returning from their hiatus with their new Bass player. That album is really good, these Ladies raised the bar once again. LOVEBITES was formed in 2016 by Miho(Ba) and Haruna(Dr), members of the band "DESTROSE", which went on hiatus in 2015.
The girls made their major label debut in 2017 (March 24) with "THE LOVEBITES EP".
On 18 June 2018, LOVEBITES won 'BEST NEW BAND' at the Metal Hammer Golden Gods 2018 awards organised by the British metal magazine METAL HAMMER.
On 4 August, LOVEBITES performed on the W.E.T stage at WACKEN OPEN AIR 2018, one of the world's largest annual metal festivals in Germany, with the 10,000 capacity venue almost full.
"Bloodstack open air 2018(Aug. 10)" also participated.
On August 20,2018, LOVEBITES announced that it has partnered with X-ray Touring, one of the largest players in the UK booking agent industry.
LOVEBITES toured the Netherlands, Germany, France and UK from November 13-21, 2018.
Asami (Vo) of LOVEBITES appeared as a guest on stage at Halestorm "Download Japan 2019(March 21)", singing alongside "Lzzy" Hale on Halestorm's 'Love Bites', which gave the band their name.
LOVEBITES participated in "dowload Festival 2019(June 15)".
And Asami of LOVEBITES appeared as a guest on stage at Halestorm Download Festival UK 2019, singing alongside "Lzzy" Hale on Halestorm's "Love Bites" again after Japan.

The remaining girls organised an audition for a new bassist from around the world and recruited a new bassist called Fami(Ba).

For your own enjoyment, watch the live version of this. The singing is just as good, the drums are thunderous and you get more of the nuances that are swallowed by the production, like Midori's constant soloing behind the voice which is barely audible here. Just watch it, live version is better 😀

I've been a fan of LOVEBITES since nearly the beginning and I actually cried when I heard this song. Maybe it was because previous to this MV I was uncertain of their future because they were on hiatus after their original bassist left. That said, this song isn't even in my top 10 for LOVEBITES, but that's just because they have one of the greatest discographies in heavy metal (in my opinion obviously). My favorites (in no particular order) are Edge of the World, A Frozen Serenade, Liar, Rising, Soldier Stands Solitarily, Lost in the Garden, Epilogue, Holy War, and Break the Wall.
Lovebites is definitely the strongest and fastest all-female band in the world. Moreover, the appearance is clean and beautiful.

M&M are by far my favorite guitar duo, maybe the best in 50 years. Individually each of them is world class. But there is one guitarist, also Japanese, who may be better then either of them.
