I am impressed by your knowledge of and the history of the areas that you go through in your rail fanning trips.

So happy you did this branch. This was my branch growing up and the branch I commuted on every day to the city. Taking it to HPA and from HPA MOST DAYS. You truly are the best at this. Would love to see you down in Florida. I think you would appreciate Brightline. Some great freight action as well

Many trips on OB line due to family living in the area but never took trip from LV to OB... The Mill Neck station still looks in decent shape but no longer in use.

I’m really enjoying watching the trains entering the station. That’s always my favorite part 😂

Is the old Oyster Bay depot still there? Teddy Roosevelt used it.

Yes, it is still there. It is used by the Oyster Bay Railroad Museum. They did a great job restoring the building.

No smoke AND a clean window! Talk about the luck of the Irish!

Good Morning Tim!! A fact for you to know. Glen Street just like the Bellport station on the Montauk Branch, is a one car platform. Take Care and have a wonderful day my friend!!

I have been reading up on Mineola junction and how it connected with the Hempstead crossing.

So how do you get home to Lindenhurst? Does your wife pick you up or to you go back to Jamaica and ride back to Babylon?

I rode the train home from Jamaica. My wife doesn’t drive.
