When I saw the short you posted just after new year, I didn know you were back in Brazil and thought "AHHHH that boy is crazy as heck goin it the North Atlantic Ocean on Jan 1st!". Then I saw the travel day vlog and deduced it was the South Atlantic Ocean. Lookes like a lot of fun. It was 18 below Fahrenheit yesterday here in Minnesota.
So jealous! It looks lively there! Will def put it on my bucket list. We are expecting a Nor'easter on the east coast in the states this weekend. I would MUCH rather be there with you guys!
We eat eel her in Denmark 👍 - big fat ones are smoked, medium eels are fried in batter/butter (twice) and the skinny ones are boiled and jellied I prefer, the medium sized ones 😉 hello from Denmark 🌸 ❄
Looks like you had a wonderful time down there. Most people here in the states don't eat eel either, although you may see it on the menu. Here it has a stigma as being a slimey creepy fish(?). The first time I had it was in Hangzhou, China and I thought it was very good, very meaty not slimey at all.
@ADM🗿🍷 Comparing Minas Gerais with Santa Catarina is a joke. In addition to being more civilized (safe), in addition to a paradisiacal beach, Santa Catarina even has the option of snow in winter in some regions (something you only see in foreign films in other states of Brazil). 🤣🤣🤣

Itapema is nice but pricey. Balneário Camboriú also nice but the budget a little too champagne for my blood. Itajai acceptable. apart from the mozzies. But then it's rain and rice season in Santa Catarina.
The owner of the fast food brand Bob's is Brazilian. Brazil is not miserable, we are currently the 12th economy in the world. We are not developed, but we are not underdeveloped either. Brazil is a non-NATO member, Brazil is part of the BRICS, and member of the G4, we may not be a power, but we are not a nothingness either. We have companies in all sectors, there are only two particle accelerators in the world, one is Brazilian!

Do you have any idea how difficult it is to manage a relatively young country with such a large territory? It is like taking care of several countries together, plus the fact that we were a country with slavery. There is poverty in Brazil (not at the level of African countries) but there is. But most of Brazil is developed, a little disorganized, but developed.

This is not Chimarrão, this is Tererê. I'm from Venâncio Aires (RS), the brazilian capital of Chimarrão, so I can say that. But tererê is good too, in the summer... Chimarrão is for the entire year, but specially in the winter.
Hmm, if you have visited Dubai, you know to say Balneario Camboriu is like Dubai is a bit exagerated....It's most realist to say "Balneario Camboriu is the Miami of Brazil".

Looks like an amazing place! But sorry, I don't like the skyscrapers' architecture. All cookie-cutter look-alikes, as though all were designed on a computer by the same person, who had NO TASTE or sense of beauty. Not a "golden rectangle" or other classically aesthetic proportion in sight. Reminds me of USSR prison blocks.
Some skyscrapers were design by Italian designers like Pininfarina and Maseratti. I'm sure where you are from you probably have better design companies.,
@@leonardomartinez2873- My bad. I was referring to the many-storied apartment blocks, not "skyscrapers" as in "downtown business buildings." I prefer Bauhaus to any other designers, but in general, DESPISE densely populated cities. I choose to live on 21 beautiful acres in the countryside, where Nature is the best architect.

Ah yeah, the south antlantic is much warmer than Scotland at this time of year 😅 I’m out here for the next 3 weeks

Are those the freshwater eels? They eat them commonly in London, sometimes in jelly (yuk!). The conger eels are the big huge ones from the ocean
