While I chuckle at this whole situation, I also agree w/ the Cop in saying, "It's not a normal thing to encounter". Perhaps it's a
sign of the times & he'll be seeing a lot more of this, truly I don't know? It's an ugly thing & I don't show my love in that way
but to each his own..... lol, one thing is clear; police can stop anyone at anytime for anything ! We see this everyday so they
can/do stop people just b/c they can! I personally don't go out of my way to have an encounter w/ them & flipping them off
is inviting them to stop me. No thanks but I'll watch the video so send it in.... be careful & peace

I finally had enough of his BS so I passed him & gave him the finger. I drove away & never looked back. When I finally got to my destination, he had followed me all the way to private property to block me in & get out of his car to confront me about it. The dude was like 75 years old by the looks of it & he was so proud of the fact that he was a retired police officer. He screamed at me & threatened me that he could charge me with assault for giving him the finger lol. Being so young & dumb I was terrified & just nodded my head in agreement to get him to go away. 3:32 I call BS on the "Community Caretaking" aspect of policing. Courts have ruled, 'In recognition of the fact that one of the essential roles of police officers is to {Enhance Public Safety by assisting those in distress}' but also ruled 'A police officer has no "Community Caretaking" obligation to assist a drowning person or be then held accountable for their death.' This stinks of making a precedent for arresting someone that is 'Uncooperative' at at traffic stop under the 'We thought they needed help' excuse while also setting a precedent for 'A cop does NOT HAVE HELP to 'Enhance Public Safety' of someone IN DANGER' if they don't WANT TO since 'Public Safety is NOT PART of their job.'
