Ya think. I feel incredibly fortunate to have been introduced to; Christine Marie Mila, by my college buddy. I’ve been conservatively following her methods for over a year now and this approach has enabled me to be in the 99th percentile doing good in this respective industry! On average, she takes a 10% cut of profits made, but using her technical system actually makes it much more hands off.
2023 trading was rough but made a lot of progress in trading, learned ICT and passed my first funded challenge. Hopefully 2024 is when Im making enough money to quit my jobs.

1. "RISK MANAGEMENT" is the holy grail in Trading, thinking in probabilities and instead of thinking how much I can make thinking how much can I comfortably loose should be the mindset.
2. "ULTIMATE ACCOUNTABILITY" Instead of blaming the markets one should accept his/her mistake, accept the risk, and pull the trigger.
3. "DISCIPLINE" Outcomes in the market is your self reflection, whatever you do in a daily basis in life will have an impact in your trading.

2023 I thought was going to be finally profitable. Since 3 years I am grinding but still haven’t made a single payout. I know I will succeed.
Passed 3 challenges this year and had one funded account which I lost. This is part of the process. I understand why 99% of traders fail.
I love trading and I will not give up. Hope you guys have the same goal!
Accountability is key.
However, using the word "Fault" gives it a negative spin, instead acknowledge that ultimately you are "Responsible" or "Cause".
Be responsible for the actions/results that you caused.

I learned that ultimately it is ME vs ME - this filters through into all aspects of trading, risk management and proper use of prop firms. This coming year we cannot "blame" external factors for our results or progress - it is up to us to be accountable. In my own trading i am improving step by step - key for me is to learn, test, correct and try again. Iterate. Thank you for the helpful videos Kimmel in 2023 (one of my favourites was recent slides/video on risk management for prop challenges) - all the best for Merry Christmas and prosperous 2024.

Risk management is absolutely the key to sustainability, i am also looking to risk 0.25-0.5% risk per trade. And aim for 1-1.5% a week. I am going to be in this for the long run. And doing it slow with absolutely no hurry. And being accountable always about my decisions. Lets smash 2024.

Everything u said about accountability,Propfirms are 100% true i did every one of those things u mentioned blamming other ideas,other opinions about the markets,overleveraged to finish the challenges as much as fast to get funded then get a big withdrawl which didn't really end well, I must change to get to a new level in 2024. 2. Be cautious while using prop firms. Do your due diligence before joining a firm and treat trading as a business. You're aiming for 6-7 figures funding
3. Have proper risk management. As you're aiming for big funding, risk management is key, with great power comes great responsibility.
4. Be professional at trading. Put in the work, treat it as a business again, treat it professionally and not in a gambling way. You can only scale massively by being professional.

1- accountable yourself instead of putting on less capital, spreads, strategy or on prop firms rules
2- take prop firms like real money and use a proper risk management other than using it like fake money and ignoring all money management rules.
3- journal your trade and every position you take write it down and analyse it and let go of things which didnt work for you in 2023 and then stick with rules you make.
This is sound advice, taking accountability in trading as well as in life, just goes hand in hand. I've just got funded with my first funded account. I will only be risking 0.25% as well on funded accounts and 0.5-1% on all challenges.

Prop firm challanges - Risking high on challanges without knowing proper risk management
Without proper risk management one cannot succed as a trader, because its a very importabt factor in terms of passing challanges.
Professional - treating trading as a business and putting in the work it needs , just like doctors abd lawyers, giving it some time, about 2-3 years
