Honestly this is so informative. I have a whole plan to begin my prop firm journey in 2024 which I was just sharing with a friend a few days back and truthfully speaking I was going to go down the traditional way of scaling from the smallest prop firm account to the biggest. But now I would like to consider going with the idea you have shared of diversifying my portfolio of accounts, whereby I buy multiple accounts and start them at different times like you have explained. I’ve only been trading 9 months, I paid for a 2 year mentorship for technicals and a 12 month for psychology, the valley of despair is something covered very well in the psychology, you keep repeating the first part of the cycle if you cannot see the focus and deliberate practice you need to put into just 1 strategy until you master it! I’m still not consistent of profitable, and I see the guys like yourself and the professional traders I learn from all say, it takes 2-3 years to really achieve that level, and I don’t have the arrogance to think I should be able to achieve what it takes others years to get to in just 9 months!
There are a lot of lessons and wisdom in this video. I only wish I had watched it sooner. I'm still happy I found it now.

The last point : Yolo trade is why I'm not profitable for the last 2 years combined with overleveraging to catch up all the time lost. Not necessary to say that I'm a strong reversal trader.

Hello Waqar, I have a question about managing multiple accounts. Rather than progressing to larger challenges, should I consider buying smaller accounts and trading them on different days when the market conditions are favorable for me? For instance, instead of purchasing a single 10k account and then a 50k challenge after succeeding, should I opt for two 10k accounts and trade on one on Monday if the market presents opportunities, and then do the same with the second account on, say, Friday?

At 3:07 your deduction about why most people get the 5k accounts is flawed. It’s not because they are not confident in their strategy. Majority of the people get the 5k accounts because that’s what they can afford since most are usually from developing countries and having to shell out more than 100 USD for a bigger challenge account is such a strain or it’s tough.
Learnt you need
To have a plan , and be consistent and trade without pressure cause when the pressure is off you you follow your plan

I’m upset :/. I’m one of those that’s been trying for a long time have bought multiple challenges. I decided to save up for a 200k and it was going much better than my last ones, good win %, 1:10 average rr and I passed the first phase, and then on the second phase I got fucked by nfp first day and had to recover and I did, and at one point my equity was 210k but I was driving so I stopped and then ended up getting taken out at 208500, and I kept trying to get in to try to get the pass, and started losing, and it feels like my psychology has not recovered since. it’s hard to push that impatientness out of my head. Been going at it for years and to be so close I just wanted to have it and I screwed my self and now I’m not in a good spot. I’m lucky that I live with my parents so I’ll be fine but man it’s hard thinking about how I had it within Grasp, I was so close to finally showing my parents some progress. and trying to get it quickly now I’m only delaying it.. I know I’ll get there 1 day.
I just did this with my 100k, and I'm in a new one rn. Take it as slow as possible, I recognized that taking even a few months and FINALLY passing is better than rushing to try to get an instant gratification. Ive been risking only 0.5% a trade and only trading once a day if even. Just take it slow and you'll pass it, the challenge is harder than actually trading so just take ur time to pass it
@@fuzzy1558 foreal, that’s literally all I’m thinking, just take it slow, and DONT over trade, as long as I don’t over trade, I should get there slowly but surely. it’s just so frustrating cuz other times it felt like I just didn’t have enough skill when I’d fail. But this one was purely me fumbling and fucking it up. that’s what hits my mental the most. But I think I’m confident that given how much this frustrated me, I should not make the same mistake again. going into this next one just have to do what I was doing in my first phase. But man it was also so satisfying how I passed the profit target on the first phase before I hit the trading days. But oh well. All I want is the pass. I know when I do pass it, going for a 10-12k month is not very un realistic given the account size. good luck in your challenge brother, I hope you pass this one. I’m hoping to start mine towards the end of the month. I have no doubt that I will pass as long as I stay discipline and patient, I have the skills to pass and make some money. Just need to keep those emotions in check. Update me in a few weeks on how your challenge is going bro, and I will do the same.
