Not everyone takes 4 years. I guess it depends on hours, not years. The people who don’t have full time jobs and kids or whatever and have nothing but time, can be profitable very fast. Most people however usually take 2-3 years on average from the interviews that I saw from the funded traders interviews

Great advice Kimmel. You cant run to a prop firm without having some consistent profitability on your real account. And the scaling on a prop firm takes time as well. This is a game of patience, which people sometimes run out of.

I was introduced to FX since 2018 and I have been learning ever since!! Not yet profitable but after learning ICT I see the market much clear now!! My approach is to buy a 5k account use it as a learning curve towards being profitable!!

Top advice dont put all the eggs in one basket ! Diverisfy portfolios work study and trading ! Im 7 figure traded took 5 years 😅 but with all prop firm ruled still so nervous to trade them never want to blow accounts so wotk online in other fields to ! Always great advice from u 👍

Take it slowly, and embrace the experience. What do I mean? Well...if you lose a challenge, accept it and learn from it. If you pass a challenge, accept it, and learn from it. If you get a payout...accept it, and learn from it. If you faill a funded account....what am I going to say?...............accept it and learn from it.

I’ve passed prop firms using 1 phase prop firm challenges twice however they had trailing draw downs and withdrawing caused me to lose them

I leave them all as they are. I have 200k accounts, and 100k accounts. I don't merge them. Haven't merged them yet

I had no idea what prop firms were until about a month ago. I only trade crypto and passed my first challenge. It was not easy but do you recommend any good crypto firms?
Can you do a video on Proof of consistency for beginners, I mean what is a good indicator that you are consistent and can now venture into propfirms accounts?
ps, I achieved "consistency" by trading demo account and passing a simulated prop challenge without violating any rules but once i purchased a prop account i lost it.
There is a whole mental barrier that we go through when there is actual money on the line. So I would say start small, and get used to it

I disagree. With ICT 2022 mentorship, everything changed. Now ppl can achieve this in a year or 6-8 month. The idea was the knowledge and a little bit of practice. Someone will say “Ow, but you need tape reading etc etc.” No, you need a really good mentor and a 4-5 month backtesting and forward testing and some weeks with demo trading.
It’s not that complicated. Yea it’s hard when you don’t have the right knowledge.

Lets say i make 100K in a month, but i don't want to hold my money in Wise or Revolute , then what is the best option to receive and hold money in EU. just some advice to new traders from an old guy. Find someone who is willing to give to put the goods in your hands. Who can give you a few hundred examples of the same 1 or trades they've been trading forever. Once you have that, you can make as much money as you want.

Only the backtesting and live market experience is able to tell you how much percentage profit to expect.

Setting the expectation at 4 years is very demotivating for someone just starting out.. With the right mentor and strategy, becoming consistently profitable can be achieved way sooner than 4 years.
'comfort number' is...crucial ! The ammount where I don't feel under pressure is important , not just balance , but equity , or lot size or StopLoss or...I didn't watch all of your videos , but I think this one is masterpiece because you DID ! You had to revind and reanalyse all good and bad moments, moods and acts, and gave us essetnial ! Thank you for your honesty 🤗

Live market experience + a strategy with an edge is key to this business. I've been trading using Photon Trading Strategy. I trade one pair only EURUSD, I make a minimum of 10R per month. I now take prop firm challenges without any fear. So you need an edge of the market to be consistently profitable + a community that trades the same strategy

@@imad0926 well the m1 gives me a lot of opportunities than the m15 and at the same time, more opportunities = more losses
I believe trading is like studying a subject in class some people may take longer than expected some may actually become better quicker because they are able to master the essentials of trading much faster now like me i passed my ever first funded challenge because i followed the rules that i created within my first 3 months of studying price action and creating my strategy (tho its not perfect yet) but risk management is the essential to make you profitable and once i learnt that i was able to be profitable for one month on paper trading now am funded with a small account but am following the rules i created ..... I honestly believe its discipline that will make you profitable much faster

I mean like if you lose a challenge you shouldn't just buy another challenge and blow it up right away. I mean why can't you just take a few week off and reevaluate yourself and trade in a demo account, it is what I am doing right now after not passing the FTMO challenge (but got a free retry since I was $200 in profit in a 100k account), the account is currently on hold. And my results improved I lose less and I am 9k up in 3 days (demo account), without trading or risking that much, all while watching trading videos, backtesting, and reading psycholgy books.

He's not with surge trader. And the process from 500k to 1M is the same as 1M to 2M
I disagree. People are different, you don’t necessarily need 4 years, some take longer and some take even just a year.
Fortunately out of my 3 years of trading I took my time getting the skillset down after failing my first in 2021 and passed my 4th attempt after becoming profitable. Each attempt i fixed my previous mistakes and didnt immediately jump into a new challenge. Many have a misconceptions that if they just keep taking alot of challenges without actually doing the things needed to become profitable that they will get this big capital and make money. Instead master the skill and prove you have mastered it by passing and getting the payouts!
