I'm with you on people not needing supersteel, and if they do, they can always use a stockman. I'm not really into flippers or linerlocks, though, so different strokes for different folks.
TheMartialist yeah bud I can see if I was cutting in a warehouse 8 hours a day but other than that I don’t need it!!!!!! And plus I did tests on cheaper steels and they hold up longer than you think I was surprised myself
Knife Detector yes sir I had to grab it for my copperhead collection and I’m going to get the other one too it has dimpled scales looks super cool!!!!!!!! Thanks so much
@@jerseyknifeguy6382 I've seen those come out on Ebay pretty regularly. If you saved a search on Ebay to get notifications, it would probably come out soon.
You just can’t find these in the uk. The only Col Coon knives here are the Trapper, Stockman and Barlow, only in walnut and each for £60 ($75)! My knives barely get enough use to go blunt, except my son’s knives. He’s a landscape gardener and his Manly Wasp and Mora Eldris need sharpened every week or two. God knows what he does with them, but even then, they last a week or two. Oh, and it’s cold and wet here in Scotland!
Thanks for the shout out. You need to grab that Marble's Rams Horn toothpick. You won't be disappointed. Still available at SMKW. And you'll see what i mean -- It just disappears in the pocket. You can't find a knife that is this big that is anywhere near this pocket friendly.
Hi Pete. It ain't always the seller. A friend on vacation in the states posted à knife to me on the 6th of april. I got it on the 25th of june!!! And that was with insured tracking! Nice toothpicks. Stay safe.
RHINO 54 wow RHINO these people don’t know I’m a very addicted person with my knives!!!!!! This is not good for my heart!!!!!!! I can’t take anymore wow thanks bud
As for the eBay sellers. Some of them have been absolutely awful lately, taking weeks just to ship and then trying to blame it on the post office. They provide the tracking info and it just sits there "tracking provided" for a week and then "poof" it finally starts processing. Then some places in the Covid Hotspots, the mail truly just sits there "in transit" eBay seems to be the lowest of the lowest of the low priority for the USPS as of late. So there is a lot going on. I'm waiting on a knife from March. The seller has already refunded the money but according to the post office, it is still in transit to me! LOL!
Tobias Gibson omg what they are doing to me every month!!!!! This is a total disgrace I can’t take this every month!!!!!!!! They don’t know how addicted I am and there making my heart hurt!!!!!!! Thanks so much Tobias!!!!!!!
That's a nice looking knife Pete. On Ebay sellers, I try to go with the ones that have a guaranteed delivery by date. Doesn't mean you get them quickly, but there is an incentive for them to get off their butt. With the virus issue, shipping has gotten worse than it was before. I had a seller not ship for over a week & when I contacted them they said they were old & didn't get out much because of the lockdown. Sometimes you have to bug them with questions like "are you going to ship my knife anytime soon?"
@@jerseyknifeguy6382 I have one RR copperhead in amber jigged bone. I like the copperhead pattern. My favorite pattern for general carry is the Sowbelly Stockman. Three decent blades, but that curve really fits the hand well. Much better feeling than a straight stockman.

Knife steel snobs love to po po 440a, but in real life if you use a knife every day in a factory to cut something, the factory probably supplies the knife, or it's a box cutter. I still haven't counted all the Roughies I have. Some of them are very good at hiding.
