I had an idea for a Fanfic where Cell absorbs all of Hell and emerges as an entirely new entity named Ivil, corny but seemed cool. To combat it, Gotenks and Gogeta would fuse into Gogetenks with the potara. It was Post GT era where everything relied on them getting to namek to wish Goku back after the earth was destroyed and only Goten, Trunks, Vegeta, and Bulma survived while even the Kais were taken out, leaving the potara to vegeta with their dying breaths just in case.

Isn’t it kinda weird that in the unseen timeline, if we assume Goten was born it would mean that goten would actually grow up with his father unlike the main timeline and would probably be a lot stronger.
What's more weird is how if they were going to do a 'evil goku' arc they didn't just use an older Goten or something. Or alternatively, use a timeline where Goku never bumped his head with grandpa Gohan.
If the Potara retcon didn't exist, it'd be the most laughably op character that I actually wouldn't have a problem with ppl putting him against anyone in another series I'm convinced the only reason something like DB Heroes despite opening pandoras box for DB fans dreams, hasn't done this is because it'd open the floodgates of speculation

Anyway, instead of slapping Goku and Vegeta into themselves from another timeline, why not just do it with the Anime and Manga versions from Super? That way the Supreme Kai of Time doesn't slap them out of existence for Time Travel. Actually, they should do that for Xenoverse 3 or Dragon Ball Heroes.
There's so many things wrong with the Goku Black arc, but another question it brings up is...how did Zamasu in Goku's body manage to kill Goku in Zamasu's body? We know canonically Zamasu is roughly equivalent to a SSJ2. So Goku in Zamasu's body shouldn't have been blitzed and defeated. Goku Black was still in base form; he didn't even power up to SSJ1. The 'Goku's body absorbed god ki in his base' doesn't work either because we see absolutely no God ki emanating when he begins his attack. Even when we see later with future trunks, he is still unable to fully access the power of Goku's body ala Captain Ginyu. So if anything Goku Black should have gotten his ass kicked and his plan botched from the start.
The funny part about fusing Gogeta and Vegito is that there are two potential results...Gogito...and...VEGETA! And guess who wins at that point. 😂 Edit: Also, these fusions would be possible in Dragon Ball Heroes.

I'm pretty sure I had this idea waayyyyyy back when I first saw Fusion Reborn. I've also played around with the idea more than once, with different Goku's/Vegeta's. For example, imagine an "Ultra Vegito" (Ultra Instinct + Ultra Ego) fusing with a SSj4 Gogeta. He'd be an absolute powerhouse that would likely be unbeatable, power wise. I'm not sure what hair color he would have, but I think tri-colored hair would look quite dumb. lol So I mixed together Gogeta's hair color with Goku & Vegeta's ultra forms all together and it came out to be a very pale, beige-purple kind of color. It turned out to be quite hideous, so I'd just make his hair a nice orange color with the teal eyes.
