- The copper shortsword... the very first weapon that is made available to newly created characters and is considered to be the weakest weapon in Terraria, but what if this weapon was able to grow and become stronger as you progress through the game? Well in this video I'm only allowed to use the copper shortsword however I installed a mod that allows this weapon to gain experience with every hit. With each level increase the damage, critical strike chance, size, and attack speed. Just how strong will this weapon become and will it be enough to take down the final boss Moon Lord? Pro tip next time you do a run like this with a super buffed Melee weapon:
Kill the queen bee. That'll let the Witch Doctor spawn and let you use Flasks for extra Debuffs like Ichor/Cursed Flames, and post-plantera, Flasks of Venom.

I've been waiting for a long time for a video with only a short sword.
For the future, if you continue to use my mod, do not forget that in the stats there is a change in HardCap (Max for a specific weapon) and Max
You could stretch this shortsword across the entire screen, and thanks to the starting speed, increase the distance it will extend by changing the Max or HardCap values, and it could look even more interesting
Also in the new version I added the ability to enable mechanics in the settings (the very first thing that is in the config) so that each of the projectiles, including additional projectiles, causes damage (set cooldown to 10)

Unpopular opinion: the zenith is just an upgrade of the copper short sword and the Chopper shorts sword is the Main crafting ingredient of the zenith
That might be true since you don't throw a copper short sword in the Zenith attack, but you do throw the Zenith, which may be the upgraded version

technically this is somewhat true. Even with maximum armor penetration, it might do maybe 3 damage at most to the highest level enemies or failing that, 1. Moon lord has over 100,000 health on normal difficulty and over 200,000 on expert/ master
@@nathanielbass771thats not the issue its moonlords heart it heals constantly so the low damage isnt enough to compensate and kill him well maybe if you hit moonlord like 20 hours straight no hit but thats just painful

You had 6 accessory slots before wall of flesh? This wasn't on master mode was it? I didn't see any trophy drops from the bosses.
One of the slots was for Wings.

The copper shortsword, after the rework, is NOT weak. It's actually quite strong at dealing with simple enemies. Anything that has more range than you will kill you, but it attacks fast and deals reasonable knock back. So for enemies that only deal contact damage, it will help you a lot now that you can orient it 360°

How do you find the shimmer so quickly in each video. It's been four hours, and I still haven't found the one in my world, and before you ask yes, I go to the side with the jungle.
Don't know if it's a mod or possible, but copper short sword 'zenith' make a bunch of swords and they fly about doing their original damage zenith style.
You can actually equip double jump accessories in the wing slot I believe also, why do you always forget shimmer upgrades? 😭

things you need to change:
1: clean your dang inventory for once, and put them away in chests, only keep the items you need on you
2: use magic storage mod
3: make bigger arenas
4: you can break the golem altar with the picksaw so you can fight him in your arena at home
5: always max out your HP, and at least do it before moonlord
6: you don't need to warp to spawn every time the moonlord uses his phantasmal deathray, you can simply just go above him in a circle to dodge it

I personally disagree with the warping to spawn for moonlord, while you can circle above, teleporting back to spawn helps ease the nerves and gives you an almost guarunteed dodge. What he should do however, is use recalls for an instant teleport rather than the slow 10 second long magic mirror teleport
