I cannot thank you enough for your video!!! I've HATED tape guns my entire life because nobody (until you) mentioned you have to remove the little black piece off the blade. I've always thought the clear plastic piece was the blade, even though it couldn't slice through melted butter on its best day! You're the BOMB!!!!

😂 Thank you so very much. I'm still stuck. can't seem to push those little knobs in order to get the blade cover off. In my head I've done it and everything's perfect. In reality, it hasn't budged. I have favorites in my pantry that I can't use. Every now and then, I try. Hadn't done anything yet. I don't think I'm strong enough. The same happens with bottle caps. Anything that has a twist cap. I'll walk away and then go back to it.

Thanks. I see I've been doing it correctly - I still hate using tape guns tho. Tape seem to always get caught or tangled and require excessive force to cut. I prefer the refillable red plastic tape holders.

OMG!!!!!!!!!!!! I couldn't find the blade. I can figure out the most complicated gadgets, but this one really got me. I was so mad I threw it out. A friend said hey, you can youtube all. Luckily garbage hadn't been picked up got it out follow this and wala!!! Thank you a million!

Am I the only one that was confused... the black plastic guard over the sharp blade. Once I figured out that the guard was removable... DUH!!! I slipped the guard back on when it's not in use. Helps the tape to stay on the blade, and is a little safer for storage. I must AGREE, Watching YOU TUBE seems to be a big help. I did not have to ask someone face to face. LOL This won't be the last time "YOU TUBE how to videos" has saved "face" and kept me from getting embarrassed.
