I try to support my local stores and companies here in South Africa but the problem is that these stores only buy one or two of every line or every set and see what sells. So I have to go out of my way to hunt down the rest, whether it be Banpresto Crane figures or Ban Dai Masterlise figures.
I just buy GX Materia figures while waiting for new kuji sets to release. They are much more affordable and fun to see how they will utilize the energy piece.
I don’t think they should because it could come across a bit tacky. It works for GX Materia since that’s the whole point of that line of figures. Masterlise should stick with including extra accessories like with Pilaf and the dragon balls.

I have the Krillin and Gotenks. Still want to buy the others but I'm currently prioritizing those expensive Kuji sets at the moment.
