Helped so much, watched a different video where the guy recommended staying in between the legs. I would get so many jump attacks that I couldn't dodge I got so frustrated. I followed what you did in the video, staying on the outside and beat the guy 1st try. Can't believe how simple it was. I also found that using the mimic causes more jump attacks.
Considerably easier on horseback as a melee character. Rotten Winged Sword Insignia and Lance Talisman. Also had on Flamedrake Talisman & Dragoncrest Greatshield Talisman for defense but more attack talismans could work too since his stuff is easy to dodge on horse. Key is to stay on his right leg near the back half. Allows you to see both legs for individual stomps and stay out of range of his two melee attacks. Was having trouble doing this on foot. The horse makes his two legged jump easy to dodge also which felt impossible on foot.
I did use torrent for a few but he kept getting a weird frame with the foot. I do agree that the rotted wing would have made it a lot easier. The DLC is definitely pushing players towards dex melee but if I can do it with this build a melee should have no issue. Thanks for you comment!
The only thing killing me, on this stupid boss. is his grab. for some reason i keep thinking you can dodge through it, or try to run through his legs, or run back. all options dont work, so i looked up a video. because I got him down to maybe 2 hits max, 3 times now. and each time he gets me with the grab that does 100% of my hp.
@@cullermann2It also works great against almost every dragon except Senessax. For him you want to use pest thread spears if you have them. If not, pest threads will still work.
@@sobbiess it could be your characters weight. If your armor is too heavy it will affect the jump height and timing. It could also be timing of jumping too early or too late.
this video doesnt help me for the one im at his leg are protected and its a big pain in the arse to find how to deal dmg to him. cannon of haima deall dammage to him but it feels like not even 1%dmg each hit

A strength build would definitely destroy this boss. Let me know how you did!
horrible, this guy wont take dmg lol
In Ng7+ my strength build does nothing...
@@VR00100yeah that power scaling is wild.
@@Play4FunTreedefinitely a damage sponge. I thought frost or glint stone would work well on it but it didn’t
Knocked him down just for the ground to be unlevel and it not let me crit him
I had that happen a few times. It’s so annoying

this comment was more useful than the video itself. Just beat him with no trouble
Worked well for me! Made it really easy to dodge the stomps
Great video

I took him out using bleed on glaive with the ash of war spinning strikes cause it's constant until you run out of stamina
The one that the night Rider drops
I killed them in under a minute with ancient dragons lightning strikes. Absolutely destroys them. I am running a pure faith build incantations only.
Lightning works really well against them too. Before the patch, rolling sparks would destroy them
good to know as I respecced into a faith / blasphemous blade build, with my weapon obviously doing 0 damage

Thank god
there are few of them that you cant attack legs we need a way for those
Coming soon!
if you didn't figure it out yet, you throw hefty fire pots into the brazier from a high place
why can't i dodge the 2 legged version stomp by jumping or rolling? any tips?

More content!!!!
You might want to change the title from "Brazier Giant" to "FURNACE GOLEM" because that is what they are called - you will get more views
They were labeled as that the first day the DLC released so that’s why I went with it. Appreciate the input
These are baby brazier's. What about the ones that are fortified and can't be knocked down?
This video isn’t for that then. There’s More coming.
i cant figure out how to deal with that one either

That’s because this is for the ones that don’t have protected legs.
you have to throw fire pots into it from above.
Why does he not go down for riposte for every stagger, what determines if he fully goes down to riposte?
You have to riposte twice. It’s just the design. At least that’s my experience
either you stagger both legs once or just need to stagger him twice, dont know which ones the case
What about the giant that only does the fireball attack? Hitting the legs does not work like this
I have more videos coming out. This is specifically for the smaller ones
@@rivtekk not gonna wait for that. Should have just explained it in this one and make your video longer
