Love the SF12's ....I use a modded Stellar RM7, 1.8 micron ribbon, better tranny and removal of built-in pop filter - stunning! Poor man's SF12...cost about $1100

SF-12 and SF-24 are some of my favourite ribbon microphones. Amazing for classical music recording.
