Right from the past 5-6 months, I've been following your lectures of government schemes. Till today, almost 50 lectures have been covered for the schemes that were in news recently. So, my question is that whether the schemes covered in these lectures will suffice for the RBI Grade B exam or do I have to also look for those schemes which have not been covered by you? As the schemes covered by you were in news, so their chances of being asked in the exam increases, but what should be the selective approach for covering the schemes that were not in news (might be asked)?
Hi Vivek! Thank you for raising the query. After the thorough analysis of the previous year question papers it was observed that the schemes which were in news for the past one year or the flagship programmes of various ministry are asked in the examination, which we are also covering. Rarely do any schemes will be asked apart from these schemes and even if there will be questions they would carry 1 or 2 marks. Now, I personally would not advice you to cover all the schemes just for 1-2 marks because there are a lot of schemes under each ministry. You can utilise that time for some other subject. But still if you are willing to cover all the schemes, we have all the schemes covered under our "Main Scheme Document". You can refer to that. If you are doing self-study you can google the list of important schemes under each ministry. Now, when it comes to the selective approach for such schemes, I would advise you to keep up with the news on a regular basis. So, if there is a little update that has been made under a small level scheme, you will be updated. And then you can have a quick overview of that scheme. I hope your query is solved. If you still have any doubts, feel free to revert. Thanks and Regards, Deeksha Team EduTap
