    I have used Billingham bags for the most part all my career . Now in retirement I continue to use their digital bag as it is light and perfect for one camera and a lens .
    A bag is like the camera and the lens . It needs to only do what it does best and to give you a sense of calm that it will continue to perform as and when it is required to. For everything else I have a great 28mm 1.8 lens on my phone .
    Thank you for your excellent videos

      Thank you very much Carmen! Billinham bags are fantastic, In my case I was looking for something a little bit more "TactiCool" :)

    I've been using a Fuji/Domke F-803 for years. It has got me through my Fujifilm years and now using in with my Leica's and just love it. A week ago I ordered a Pilot 7L and waiting on delivery. Nice video...

    Domke F6 for me and my X-pro2. Not gonna lie; bought it on emotion, for exactly the reason you mentioned (intrepid photographer, etc). But it’s actually turned out to be a very practical bag and suits the Fuji perfectly. Just have to remember not to wear a white shirt just after re-waxing it!

      Domke F6 small is the one. you are right about the wax but I have to admit that I miss the re-waxing and the look and the tactile experience :)

    I agree totally, emotional purchases inspire me more than something that is technically perfect, I like things to have ‘soul’

      Thanks Andrew! Actually perfection is kind of boring! :)

    I agree a camera bag can inspire someone to go make images just like a particular camera body or lens. I discovered Domke bags after watching a photo documentary film and purchased the F-5XB used on eBay in real condition for $45 dollars. I have since purchased another F-5XB, one bag carry’s my Fuji XE-2 and the other Fuji XPro 2. I have 35mm & 23mm f2 fuji lenses and just swap lenses depending on which camera I’m going to use. I love the size of my Domke bags and fits my camera kit really good. Also well done on your videos I’m a big fan of your work.

    Is charcoal coloured bag (Istanbul footage ) 10 lt ? Thanks for sharing your experience with these bags. I will order one very soon (Once I decide to Size 7l or 10l)

    • @The_Raw_Society
      @The_Raw_Society  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      The charcoal is the 7L bag and the other one is the 10L. Both are great but I use the 7L more, it’s a really perfect size.

    Carried the Domke F2-B (Ballistic) for many years. Still own two. Tried many others, but for me, there is no other. It is THE Goldilocks bag! It can hold a bulky pro DSLR on each end of the internal compartment along with two Speedlights, a 17-35mm f/2.8, a 70-200mm f/2.8, and a 50mm f/1.4 in the 4-section padded insert. That still leaves two spacious exterior pockets on the ends and two smaller pockets on the front. Of course, these were made for photographers, not content creators. They are not for a traveling studio, 15" laptop, and your ExOfficio underwear :-)

      HAHA definitely JK Domke's works that's why didn't change much in decades, but you know times changes and I think that it's interesting to try new things and see what happens, funny enough was my editor in Nat Geo that recommended to me this Wotan bags (He was a die hard Domke guy) :)

    OMG a nice Bag. But you have add two more zipper pouches on front of the pilot 7L bag?

    • @The_Raw_Society
      @The_Raw_Society  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thanks my friend! Yes! those pouches are optional witch in my opinion is great because you can travel with more space available but when you go out for the day you can live them in the room! Thanks for watching brother!

      @@The_Raw_Society Actually that is the one we stayed in too. After a lot of research it was the best for the style we love. Ilium bogus is a Danish store filled with divine products. I got them mixed up. I have a photo of my daughter standing on that balcony. Love your channel and communication style. Cheers Jenn
